Priest

Holy/Shadow

Priest is a ranged support that can heal, debuff enemies, steal abilities, can turn into shadowform or swap health.

Animation for stolen abilities: my idea is that some kind of shadow thing like Abathur's Clone do the animation. For example if you get Owerpower from Diablo, a shadow arm, that looks like Diablo's, grab the target.

Combat Trait

1
Flash heal (D)
Use "Lesser heal" to charge up your flash heal. Max. 10 charges.

Passive: for each charge, you gain 7% CC reduction. (max. 70%)

Active: at 10 charges heal 25% of the target max health, lose all charges.

Heal 190 (+4%/level).

Cooldown: 5 seconds | Range: 18
2
Confuse (W)
Reorder the enemy hero's basic abilities in a random sequence for 7 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

1
Shadowform (R1)
Every healing effect turns into damaging effect, casting this ability refresh your cooldowns, and charge up your flash heal. Stolen abilities are 20% more effective. After you cancel shadow form the cooldown begins.

2
Void shift (R2)
Swap health with another hero. After you cast, a bond appear between you and your health will swap over 2.5 seconds.

Cooldown: 60 seconds | Range: 14
3
Shadow Word: Pain (R3)

Cooldown: 45 seconds | Range: 18

User guide

This hero is a counter hero, so not a 1st or 2nd pick in the draft. You better pick him, if the enemy team have some good ability reliant heroes. You are bad against AA and specialist heroes as you can not really mess their life, and cant steal valuable abilities.

    - Use his Q to heal allies from a far, and charge your flash heal.
    - His W does not affect the hero directly, but the player who plays with it. Players use the hero's abilities on instinct, especially in a chaotic team fight, changing the key orders randomly can cause big troubles for the player as they have to focus on another thing too. You should use it on heroes that rely on landing their combos (Kerrigan, Alarak, Artanis, Zeratul...) as a preemptive action to ruin their combos. Or on heroes that try to engage, flank or disengage to make that harder for them to positon themselves or land skills that they want to use.
    - Use his E to get a good ability that fits the situation best. If you need CC use it on the main tank, or if you need wave clear you can steal some, even from an another lane as it has global range.
    - His trait is a burst heal on a 50 second cooldown, you need to cast 10 lesser heal (5s CD) to able to use it. Better save it for a bad situation. Passively you have a lot of CC reduction, you can position yourself more aggresively to land your stolen abilities as you are not that vulnerable to lock downs.
    - Shadowform turns you into long range poking hero, with burst damage (trait), and also makes your stolen abilities 20% more stronger means 1,2x more dmg or 1,2x more CC time.
    - Use Void shift if someone dives on you, or use it on a healthy enemy while you are on low health but in a safe position.
    - Shadoword pain force the enemy out of the fight, not use it's abilities to not get the damage (basically silenced). You can combo it with confuse, and the hero may miss their skills and also get the damage.

Woah. This is useless. Confuse is pretty much useless as people are looking at their bar to see cooldowns. He has other than that only heals, and shadow word pain is basically giant killer. E is useless because of how random it is. No.

It takes some skill to figure out this hero uses.

WOw. If you don't actually know the general given purpose of your hero after creating him you've failed. A lot. Go away--your not fit for making a priest hero.

Like the concept steal abilities looks interesting, but the other skills are basically just heal.
