Threat Hero Notes
1
Alarak Alarak is primarily built for melee vs heroes. Given that you should be hidden and he will only be fighting your minions, he is a low threat to you.
2
Illidan Not much of a threat but a stealthily Illidan could use is snazzy ninja skills to sneak in a get you. Though this would definitely kill Abathur, the likelihood is low.
2
Sonya No threat for the most part. Sonya can leap but is unlikely she is going to use that to get your nest. Try to pay attention if she is near you just in case.
2
Tyrael Tyrael can use El'druin's Might to jump past a wall but is unlikely he is going to use that to get your nest. Try to pay attention if he is near you just in case.
2
Tracer Tracer is a lower risk Hero since she is an assassin class with no real laning abilities. If you are pushing forwarded past your walls however, be warned she will make short work of you if she sees you.
3
Falstad While unlikely, Falstad's Hinterland Blast could hit Abathur from across a wall.
3
Jaina Jaina can pump out a lot of damage and has Blizzard that can hit over walls. This is a slight danger but a little attention to how close you are to the walls and you should be fine.
3
Tyrande Tyrande isn't a big threat to killing you, though it is possible, she can however hit you with her Sentinel. If she hits you it will do minor damage but it will reveal you on the map to the enemy which can be dangerous.
3
Auriel Auriel is mainly a healer and isn't much of a threat. Her ability to knock your monstrosity or clone back is mainly just irritating but can cause problems for you.
4
Anub'arak While unlikely, Anub'arak could tunnel under a wall to get to your nest. Otherwise, not real threat.
4
Gazlowe Watch out if Gazlowe is clearing a lane. You may want to relocate or move back.
5
Azmodan Azmodan as a lane pusher should be watched. If he is clearing a lane you are in, consider locating. If he figures out where you are, his fireballs can fly very far and could hurt you.
5
Muradin A very skilled, or lucky, Muradin may be able to use his jumping to reach you. This is unlikely but still should be kept in mind if he is near your nest.
5
Murky Depending on how far back you are, Murky may be able to get you with his March of Murlocs as the range is long and goes over walls. If he is laning a lane, you should consider relocating lanes or moving back.
5
Raynor Depending on how far back you are, Murky may be able to get you with his Hyperion talent. If he assaulting a lane and has that talent, move. There is good chance it will get you.
5
Sgt. Hammer Sgt Hammer as a lane pusher should be watched. If she is clearing a lane you are in, consider relocating. A skilled Hammer can clear a lane very quickly.
5
Gul'dan Gul'Dan will hurt you badly if he finds you but shouldn't be a huge issue, he can however clear your lane minions fairly quickly which can make short work of a lane push. If your Monstrosity is pushing, and he shows it try to take him out quickly.
6
Zagara Zagara as a lane pusher should be watched. If she is clearing a lane you are in, consider relocating. With her ability to hit long rand, summon minions, and use Infested Drop it is best to try and avoid her.
7
Leoric Leroic and that skeletal swing will drive you crazy. He will be able to hold his own against your Monstrosity given he is a tank, but he will be able to clear waves of your Minions supporting you even faster. Remember take him out fast but try to stay near your Minions to overwhelm him. Don't bother trying to outrun him, he will catch up.
7
Chromie With her abilities able to shoot through or past walls and having considerable range, Chromie could prove a problem for Abathur players that think they are safe behind a wall. Keep an eye out for her as she can easily slow your escape (which is already pretty slow) and kick your butt to the future and back.
8
Sylvanas Sylvannas is superb at wiping out Minions. This will put a damper on your onslaught with this build. Don't panic however, remember you will be a heavy hitter and she goes Squish fairly quickly so try to take her out before she takes you out.
8
Xul Xul is an efficient lane pusher and his scythe has excellent range making him a threat to watch out for. If you are in his lane, consider moving.
9
Abathur Other Abathurs may be a large threat to you between lane pushing and his ability to drop Toxic Nests up to globally. Keep an key out that you aren't in the lane he is pushing and stay hidden in the bushes.
9
Medivh While Medivh may be mostly for support, his ability to fly aroudn the map without fear of harm allow him to locate you with relative ease. Be on alert for him flying nearby as he may tell the rest of the team where you are or attack himself.
10
Nova Nova has that pesky ability to cloak. Many players will use this to hunt down enemy Abathur in the forward section of their bases earlier game. Try to keep an either out for this and if it is a problem, it is recommended to move into the protection of the main part of your base and into the safety of the back of your base when the walls fall.
10
Zeratul Zeratul has that pesky ability to cloak. Many players will use this to hunt down enemy Abathur in the forward section of their bases earlier game. Try to keep an either out for this and if it is a problem, it is recommended to move into the protection of the main part of your base and into the safety of the back of your base when the walls fall.
10
Dehaka Dehaka is a hero that should be avoided. Try to keep an eye on him as he can fast travel to any bush/steam vent on the map. As you are often hiding in these, you may have unwelcome company. He is like the ultimate Abathur hunter. Be warned.
10
Cho Cho and Gall are an annoying and very powerful package deal. Try to keep your distance from them as their health is very high, their hits will take you out almost instantly, and because they combine a tank with a mage they can hit hard and with a wide range of effectiveness. Avoid them if possible.
10
Gall Cho and Gall are an annoying and very powerful package deal. Try to keep your distance from them as their health is very high, their hits will take you out almost instantly, and because they combine a tank with a mage they can hit hard and with a wide range of effectiveness. About this Guide

This guide is built on my personal play style and not based on current game metas. These builds work well for myself and make for a fun game as well. I hope you have as much fun as I do with them and highly recommend the Monstrosity Pusher build. It's my take on a classic. Enjoy!

Meet Abathur

Abathur is the true Master of the Nexus and in the right hands is a force to be reckoned with. If you love Abathur you may already know all about him. For those that don't or that have not played Starcraft 2, this Video made by youtuber Six Gamers has an awesome history of this awesome character.

Always Remember

Abathur has two fundamental roles, lane pushing and team support. Through his ability to use abilities across large amounts of the map and to use minions, mercenaries, and allied heroes to host Symbiote, Abathur is able to impact be all over. This makes him one of the most versatile heroes in the game and allows him to soak XP from both his actual location and Symbiote host's location.

The Builds

Monstrosity Pusher - Recommended Build

The build I almost always use/recommend is the Monstrosity Pusher as it is intended to utilize both of those functions to make Abathur a force of destruction at level 10. Try to help out in team fights the best you can until level 10, but really push the XP soaking since you can effect large regions of the map at a time.

Once you ding to level 10, you will unlock Evolve Monstrosity and your main focus should be wiping out parts of the enemy base while the the enemy team is distracted or when an objective pops up. The strength is in taking control of the Monstrosity and using your Symbiote abilities to keep it, and the lane minions, alive to wreak havoc on a base. BE CAREFUL TO WATCH FOR WHEN YOUR TEAM NEEDS HELP! The mini map is your friend.

If you are needed in a team fight, this build still serves as a support with a few boosts for your teammates. Your Monstrosity can also continue to attack without you if you are needed in a team fight. Try to avoid this until it reaches a larger number of stacks so it has a large health pool and high damage.

Grandpop's Pusher

Grandpop's Pusher build is the classic style Abathur push build that is centered on using Lucust to drive your way through the enemy lanes and gives your Minions support in clearing structures and enemy Minions. Symbiote use should be focused on allied Minions that are in the lanes your locusts are driving. Much like the Monstrosity Pusher build, your main focus will be XP soaking until level 10 when you unlock the your Evolve Monstrosity ability and are able to more effectively push lanes.

It is important that when playing with this build to have your Abathur as close to the enemy base as possible to maximize your Locust effectiveness. While this creates a big risk for Abathur, this does pose a large risk and should be done with extreme caution. The simplest way is to use your Ballistospores talent to drop a Toxic Nest in bushes in the forward lanes then using Deep Tunnel to get there.

Also the same rules apply for team fights here, i]BE CAREFUL TO WATCH FOR WHEN YOUR TEAM NEEDS HELP![/i] If you are needed in a team fight, your Monstrosity can also continue to attack without you if you are needed in a team fight. Try to avoid this until it reaches a larger number of stacks so it has a large health pool and high damage.

I have personally found the Monstrosity Pusher build is better at assisting you team while driving lanes, however which push build is really personal preference.

Spikey Shields build and Bunny Decapitator

The Spikey Shields build and Bunny Decapitator build (support and damage builds respectively) are alternatives depending on your team compositions and the map you are on. These will not be your primary choice in most games but may be helpful in the right circumstances.

If your team is struggling in team fights, has no healer, or is very squishy then the Spikey Shields may be the best option. If the team is a very low damage composition, the Bunny Decapitator build can help give that extra boost. Check out the map section to review what maps these two build are best for.

IMPORTANT FOR ALL BUILDS

With all the builds if you are seen or suspect you are about to be seen, be sure to hearthstone or Deep Tunnel back to base ASAP.

Symbiote
Symbiote can assist another allied Unit or Combat Structure, allowing you to shield them and use new Abilities.

Cannot be used on another Hero's Summons.

Toxic-Nest
Toxic Nest will spawn a mine that becomes active after a short time. Deals 159.12 (+4% per level) damage and reveals the enemy for 4 seconds. Lasts 90 seconds.

Trait:

Locust Strain
Locust Strain spawns a Locust to attack down the nearest lane every 15 seconds. Locusts last for 25 seconds.

Symbiote Abilities

Stab
Stab shoots a spike towards target area that deals 117.52 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy it contacts.

Spike Burst
Spike Burst deals 115.44 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies.

Carapace
Carapace shields the assisted ally for 156 (+4% per level). Lasts for 8 seconds.

Fast Travel Ability

Deep Tunnel
Deep Tunnel quickly tunnel to a visible location. Use this excellent ability to keep Abathur in a lane that doesn't have an allied hero in it, especially during objectives elsewhere on the map to help keep earn XP from the deaths of lane minions as you focus your attention on pushing elsewhere or helping the team.

Heroic Abilities

Evolve Monstrosity
Evolve Monstrosity turns an allied Minion or Locust into a Monstrosity. When enemy Minions near the Monstrosity die, it gains 5% Health and 5% Basic Attack damage, stacking up to 30 times. The Monstrosity takes 50% less damage from non-Heroic enemies.

Using Symbiote on the Monstrosity allows you to control it, in addition to Symbiote's normal benefits. This Ability can be reactivated to automatically cast Symbiote on your Monstrosity.

Ultimate Evolution
Ultimate Evolution can clone target allied Hero and control it for 20 seconds. Abathur has perfected the clone, granting it 20.00% Ability Power, 20.00% bonus Attack Damage, and 10.00% bonus Movement Speed. Cannot use their Heroic Ability.

Monstrosity Pusher

Regenerative Microbes is the your choice right off the bat. This is used for giving your team a bit of an edge until level 10 by providing healing, however minimal it may be. After level 10 the main purpose of this will switch to providing your Monstrosity and a number of surrounding minions healing to make the swarming force with you larger. The swarm must grow...

Grandpop's Pusher

Survival Instincts provides your Locusts with a 30% Health boost and 40% duration boost. Since these slimey little bugs are at the core of this build, this is a huge benefit.

Spikey Shields

Regenerative Microbes is again the best choice. It will provide your allies with additional healing as you save their butts with your shields. If you end up in team fights in a lane, the shields will apply to nearby minions giving a little bit of extra damage to enemy heroes.

Bunny Decapitator

Pressurized Glands gives you more area of effect (AOE) damage more often. This will give your team boost in team fights and a helping hand clearing Minions a bit faster.
If you are fighting in a League fight and/or your team is pretty squishy looking, you may want to stick with Regenerative Microbes to give your team the upper have and help with minor heals at this stage.

Monstrosity Pusher

Adrenal Overload provides your host a attack speed boost of 25%. This is extremely uses when used on high DPS characters to provide a further boost in their damage output early game. This will provide your team an edge in any team fight and when combined with Regenerative Microbes you can keep that squishy DPS character alive too!

Grandpop's Pusher

Ballistospores keeps your nests alive for 20% longer and allows for global placement at level 4. Again this is the best option as it allows you two imprtant functions: 1) Can place mines anywhere to farm XP and clear enemy Minions ahead of your Locusts 2)You can do the old back door into the enemy base. This isn't as good as back in the day but you can certainly still do it. Tuck yourself away in a back corner of their base and attack their forts from behind their own walls. This can alternatively be used in tandem with Locust Nest to spawn locust from inside the enemy base while you stay safe.

Spikey Shields

Adrenal Overload will provide your host with a huge 25% in attack speed. While sustained-carpace does offer the potentional for more protection, the fact in only increase duration and not the strength of the shield makes in less beneficial them the increase attack speed that is active as long as the Symbiote is active.

Bunny Decapitator

Adrenal Overload will provide your host with a huge 25% in attack speed. For a DPS build this is clearly the best choice.

Monstrosity Pusher

Networked Carapace is an underrated talent. When you use Symbiote's Carapace on a Minion (including the monstrosity) or Mercenary also applies Carapace to all nearby allied Minions and Mercenaries. Basically you can lead a group of Minions or mMrcenaries into an enemy base and provide them healing, thanks to Regenerative Microbes, and a shield. This will keep them alive longer to provide a bit of extra damage but more importantly keep the Monstrosity alive longer.

As you push down a lane and attack, more minions continue to feed into your group causing it to grow in size. It makes for an force that overwhelms defending heroes and defenses. Beware of lane clearing heroes such as sylvannas and Leoric, they can eliminate your forces in a matter of seconds. If you see them, be sure to focus on taking them out or clearing your current target as they will likely kill your Monstrosity.

If you are finding your team needs the extra DPS, don't be afraid of using Needlespine instead though. This is a great talent that you Monstrosity will benefit from too. While you can't push as easy, you will still do decent damage output without your minion support and your are already healing from your shields.

Grandpop's Pusher

Needlespine gives you more stab for your cooldown, 20% more range and damage in fact. This makes assisting not only allies more effective but also helps you do more damage after using Symbiote on your locusts that are pushing. Every little bit helps.

Spikey Shields

Calldown: MULE really shows this build is all about safety! And the occassional spike to the face. So bringing in this talent mean you can repair up to 4000 Health to a Structure over 40 seconds. It will also restore 1 ammo every 3 seconds to help with defense.

Bunny Decapitator

Needlespine gives you more stab for your cooldown, 20% more range and damage in fact. This is a significant increase and means enemies will have a harder time escaping your wrath and you can help drop enemy heroes that much faster too. Be the best in this week's stab-a-than. Enough said.

Monstrosity Pusher + Grandpop's Pusher

Evolve Monstrosity turns an allied Minion or Locust into a Monstrosity. The most important part in what makes this talent special, is that the Monstrosity can be taken over by a Symbiote to give Abathur direct control over it and give the bonus Symbiote abilities OR it can be left to lane on its own if you are needed in a team fight.

The other important thing to note is that every enemy minion that is killed during your onslaught will gain 5% Health and 5% Basic Attack damage, stacking up to 30 times. That's a 150% increase in Health and Basic Attack Damage when maxed out! This also makes your monstrosity a heavy hitting tank. Watch the look on most enemy heroes that try to solo you as they are impaled by you.

The basic make up of the Monstrosity build is now in place by this point and the remaining talents just help give you an edge. Regenerative Microbes and networked-carpace with give you an army while restoring its health as well as your own, Adrenal Overload will make your Monstrosity get more hits in with its 150% increased attack, and lastly the natural Health boost from killing Minions combined with Regenerative Microbes, the 50% damage reduction the Monstrosity naturally has from Structures and Minions means your will be a force to make your Queen proud.

Spikey Shields + Bunny Decapitator

Ultimate Evolution clones a target allied hero giving you control of it for 20 seconds. The clone has a 20% boost to Ability and Attack Damage, plus a 10% increase in movement speed. While you cannot use their heroic ability, this can swing the tide of a fight in your teams favour as their enemy heroes are suddenly fighting an extra character that is super charged!
Either of these talents could be used for Spikey Shields or Bunny Decapitator if you would prefer Evolve Monstrosity instead. It can be used to help push a lane without you, though not as effective, while you continue to support the team in a team fight. This is a bit of personal preference, though for League Ultimate Evolution is still your best choice in most cases.

Monstrosity Pusher

Spatial Efficiency gives you an extra shot from your Stab ability. This one is pretty straight forward, more spikes means more damage output.

Soma Transference is an option is your would like, but I would not recommend it as your primary option. Ideally regenerative-mircobes will be enough healing. This talent is reliant on enemy heroes to attack. As you should be trying to attack when the enemy team is distracted or not in that general area, this will be of little benefit.

Grandpop's Pusher

Bombard Strain turns your Locust in mobile siege weapons. With a increase of 66.666666667% damage and a long range attack, the Locust can stay out of danger longer and do more damage. Take that stupid canon.

Spikey Shields

Soma Transference heals the Symbite's host by 26 (+6 per level) for every enemy hero with with Spike Burst. This will help add to your exisiting healing and once again provide your team an edge in team fights.

Bunny Decapitator

Spatial Efficiency gives you an extra stab. Just like with the Monstrosity Pusher, more damage is good. That is all.

Monstrosity Pusher

Volatile Mutation is an amazing talent! This talent will gives your Monstrosity a area of effect attack (AOE) that deals 118.56 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies every 3 seconds and when they die. This not only is helpful with providing a boost in your general DPS but makes clearing Minions nearly effortless, which also means your get your boosts in Health and Basic Damage even faster.

Grandpop's Pusher

Locust Brood is perfect for this build since you will likely be sneaking around the shadows of the maps as you push lanes. Use your new power well. Kill everything.
Spikey Shields

Adrenaline Boost gives your Symbiote's host a 40% movement speed boost for 3.5 seconds. This gives them an edge in battle, including catching escaping heroes, or will help your host escape impending doom.

Bunny Decapitator

Envenomed Spikes slowing enemies caught in your Spike Burst by 40% even for just 2 seconds can shift a battle in your favour. This is a great talent to keep the enemy team off balance and help prevent them from fleeing.

Monstrosity Pusher

Hivemind is the ideal option for this talent level. Giving an second Symbiote that mirrors that actions of hr primary Symbiote to a nearby allied hero gives an extra boost when your Monstrosity is helping push a lane or finish off the enemy core with your team. It will also help when helping in a team fight by essentially providing up tot double the shielding, damage, and healing.

If you are helping your team with this ability, keep in mind the second Symbiote will only appear on an allied hero. So you may want to consider putting your main Symbiote on a nearby Minion or Mercenary. With the recent patch, Hivemind will now search for a new secondary host if the original goes out of range or there wasn't one to start with. This is a BIG improvement for this talent an drastically boosts your damage output.

If you want, Locust Nest is a great alternative choice. This will help give you the option to spawn extra locusts to help push the lane you want or distract the enemy into thinking you are somewhere you are not. Evolution Complete is also an acceptable alternative, though I do not recommend you take this option in place of the other two. If you do choose this option it can be used to get your Monstrosity out of a dangerous area or jump it into team fights from pushing a lane (or vise versa).

Grandpop's Pusher

Locust Nest this will give you 3 additional Locust to push the lane you are clearing. With the other Locust talents and a Symbiote here and there to help them, you will be able to clear lanes much faster. Be sure to as usually Deep Tunnel as close to your targets as possible for maximum effectiveness.

Spikey Shields

Evolutionary Link provides the original target of Ultimate Evolution gains a shield equal to 20% of their maximum Health that refreshes every 5 seconds. Basically you can smash the enemy while providing a fairly hefty shield to keep them safe.

Bunny Decapitator

Hivemind provides a second Sybmiote that mirrors everything your original one does as long as it stays nearby. Just like with the Monstrosity Pusher build, this means more damage and that simpley is perfect.
Again if you are helping your team with this ability, keep in mind the second Symbiote will only appear on an allied hero. So you may want to consider putting your main Symbiote on a nearby Minion or Mercenary. With the recent patch, Hivemind will now search for a new secondary host if the original goes out of range or there wasn't one to start with. This is a BIG improvement for this talent an drastically boosts your damage output.

  • Best Build Option: Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Battlefield Of Eternity provides you the best shot at laying siege to the enemy base while the fight for the Immortal is taking place or, ideally, while the Immortal attacks a base. If the Immortal is attacking your base then pick off a lane of the enemy base. This will likely also distract some enemy heroes that rush to defend their base. If not you will be able to attack and clear a decent portion of the base.
  • Best Build Option: Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Blackheart's Bay isn't the best for this type of laner pusher as your won't be able to recruit the Mercenaries in the bottom lane to help you nor will you be able to pick up coins will laning. That being said, it also gives the advantage of not being needed to get coins and being able to lane anywhere you want!

With most lane specialists, players often choose the bottom lane for the three easily accessible Mercenary camps to give you support. As Abathur you will be able to catch the enemy players off guard by pushing in any other the three lanes.

This map is has the unique advantage that the enemy is ALWAYS busy try to collect coins, much like Tomb of the Spider Queen. This means that you will often be either unopposed during much of your assaults or you will draw one or more heroes away from collecting coins giving your team a possible advantage.

  • Best Build Option:Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Cursed Hollow is a bit of a tricky maps with deciding when is a good time to lane. I would recommend laning between Tributes and during the curse on the ENEMY TEAM ONLY. If you are laning and either of these come up, drop your Monstrosity to continue on its own and help your team. If the enemy team is cursed, be sure to try and push a lane your team is not pushing. This will provide you a distraction to clear very likely a full section of the enemy base.
  • Best Build Option: Spikey Shields OR Bunny Decapitator
  • Summary: Dragon Shire is one of the three maps that the Monstrosity pusher is not good for as you need to hold Shrines most of the game and there will be a lot of opposition for you in all lanes. I would focus on the Spikey Shields OR Bunny Decapitator builds to ensure your team has an edge in team fights. Pick your build based on team composition compared to the enemy team composition.

If you want to try to use the Monstrosity build despite this warning, be sure to focus on supporting your team during all times the shrines are active. Only try any pushing while your Dragon is active or while there is no Shrines or Dragons active.
  • Best Build Option: Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Garden of Terror provides the best siege time during the night when everyone is gathering seeds. This will leave the enemy base open for assault. Much like the other maps, this will occasionally pull heroes to defend their base which can help give your team an edge getting the seeds if their are multiple enemy heroes defending against you. Also be sure to avoid attacking the same place as your Garden Terror whenever possible as it will provide a great distraction for you.
  • Best Build Option: Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Haunted Mines provides the best siege time while the mines are open when everyone is gathering skulls. This will leave the enemy base open for assault. Much like the other maps, this will occasionally pull heroes to defend their base which can help give your team an edge getting the seeds if their are multiple enemy heroes defending against you.

Very important is the lane you choose to push here. The Golem is one of the tougher enemies to take down meaning is get push a decent mount on its own. While you may be thinking, let's clear the alternate lane, don't. If you can clear a portion of the lane the Golem is in, it will make quick work or the remaining parts of the lane and reach the enemy core quickly. This gives your team a distinct advantage and relieves a lot of stress for your team.
  • Best Build Option: Spikey Shields OR Bunny Decapitator
  • Summary: Sky Temple is the second of the three maps that the Monstrosity pusher is not good for as you need to hold Temples most of the game and there will be a lot of opposition for you in all lanes. I would focus on the Spikey Shields OR Bunny Decapitator builds to ensure your team has an edge in team fights. Pick your build based on team composition compared to the enemy team composition.

If you want to try to use the Monstrosity build despite this warning, be sure to focus on supporting your team during all times the Temples are active. Only try any pushing while your there are no Temples active.
  • Best Build Option: Spikey Shields OR Bunny Decapitator
  • Summary: Tomb of the Spider Queen is very similar to Blackheart's Bay in the sense of needing to constantly collect items, in this case Gems. As your Monstrosity can't pick anything up, this means the enemy team is constantly busy. The difference from Blackheart's Bay is that they are farming the lane Minions for the Gems. This puts them awkwardly always defending. This means pick the lane that seems the most abandoned or with a the easiest to kill enemy heroes and push that one.

As the level progresses, hopefully around when you hit level 10, the enemy with start to group up and leave some lanes unguarded for periods and giving you a change to attack.

Lastly, be sure to attack in the opposite lane as your team when you unleash the Webweavers as they will provide a distraction for you to clear more of the enemy base.
  • Best Build Option: Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Infernal Shrines is the third map you may want to steer clear of the Monstrosity Pusher build. This map is very fast paced and will need you to be there with you team 99% of the time since the Punishers destroy bases so efficiently. That being said, do your best to cause minion damage whenever possible to try and soak a little bit of extra XP. Any amount of level gap in this map can mean the bitter end of your team before it has hardly started.
  • Best Build Option: Monstrosity Pusher or Grandpop's Pusher
  • Summary: Towers of Doom is like a playground for Abathur. With fairly easy to clear lanes and objectives that will keep lanes clear of heroes regularly, gives you the chance to unleash an Monstrosity to give your team an advantage and weaken the enemy team's attacks on your core. Every keep destroyed rebuilds it under your team's control. This means more "shots" from your Altars and less from teh enemy's.

As always, be careful not to ignore your team. They will need you regularly in their team fights so pop in and out and be mindful of the mini map.
