Welcome! to the wonderful world that
is Brightwing! My name is Yigma & its a pleasure to have you reading up on my most loved hero in Heroes of the Storm
I have gathered a tremendous amount
of knowledge that I would like to share with you. Feel free to leave a comment
on what you would like to see added in
this guide. Enjoy!

Classified as a true Healer Brightwing brings not only healing but a ton of utility for your team at a moments notice. Her healing is disseminated around her as an area of effect or better known as (AOE). Compared to all supports and healers in Heroes of the Storm, she requires very quick reflexes and observational skills to fully master her toolkit. Let's start!

Phase Shift: To get the most out of this, deplete your mana, next Hearthstone back to your base. Stay still for a full mana bar & afterwards, use this spell on an allied hero.

Arcane Flare: Has a slow travel time and lays a pattern on the ground of where it is gonna land, players will dodge it. Use this ability on stunned targets/enemy structures.

Polymorph: I recommend, using this spell on an enemy hero, as their health points nearly reaches zero to prevent them from escaping through spells, like: Dwarf Toss.

Soothing Mist: A passive spell, which heals nearby allied heroes for a small amount. Remind your teammates to stick near you, if they want to receive healing consistently.

Talent Build

"SoloQueue/Safest"

If you are new to healing or supports in general in heroes of the Storm, I highly suggest picking up the following talents. These talents allow you to bring a moderate amount of healing and utility to your group with relative ease. Traditionally this talent build is chosen when in SoloQueue because it accommodates to the uncoordinated tactics and miscommunication that might arise from your random teammates. With this in mind, these are the safest possible talents across the board that can account for the numerous possibilities thrown at you by the ennemy.

Talent Build

"Competitive 5v5/team-play"

Usually these talents are picked by player that are at a very high rank and so are very comfortable with Brightwing. This build require a tremendous amount of skill and communication with your teammates to fully utilize their core values. Traditionally you see these kind of attributes when playing with friends in a 5v5 custom game or Team League. I suggest to hop on a voice chat program as these talents require a great deal of organization with your team.

Tips & Tricks

"Ice Blink"

This hero is already widely considered to be hard to take down, because of the insane mobility and escape opportunities available. Let us add to those factors even more! This trick known as "Ice Blink" involves properly utilizing the spell Ice Block followed by a well executed and instant Blink Heal. This might sound easy to do, but in reality its actually somewhat quite difficult to master.

Tips & Tricks

"Backtrack"

The following trick goes unnoticed because it only lasts a couple of seconds & your typical everyday player don't usually pay attention to such small details.
I am referencing to "Backtrack". This revolves around the spell Polymorph and it odd mechanic that forces your target to head towards you unless your victims press quickly a movement key. It is easier to perform than past tricks.

Tips & Tricks

"Flare Scouting"

In Heroes of the Storm, making sure an area/bush is safe is called scouting. This involves throwing a spell from a distance to assure no enemy is hiding and waiting to strike you down. In Brightwings' case, it is called "Flare Scouting" and center around the spell Arcane Flare.

Tips & Tricks

"Bribe Soaking"

The following trick is most likely the hardest to pull off properly. Only proceed if you are very comfortable with Brighting and have core understanding of map awareness. This trick focuses on the talent Bribe and you passive ability Soothing Mist and an ally that is willing to take tower damage.
