So far, I've had a lot of success with block. I only lost one HL game when I used it and that was because of a troll throwing the game.

It isn't meant to make him tanky, it's meant to give him a chance in team fights.

I know you're not finished guid yet, but I can't agree with some points.
1). Why sindragosa is primary ult? If Arthas is main tank zombies are needed.
2). If you go for full control build you should think about Death's Advance on 20 its really cool.
3). Rune tap is useless. Even the Immortal Coil is better.
P.S.
It's only my IMHO.

Good guide man! But I can't agree with 4 level choiсe. Destruction has more utility then frozen wastes. Arthas has no problems with mana.
P.S. Regeneration master rules

Thanks for the input! The reason I don't take destruction is that even with the added damage, you won't be able to take out anyone by yourself. And if you have help from an ally, they will be able to finish off the target even without your added damage.

On the otherhand, the extra mana that frozen waste gives allow you to play as a semi specialist.
Whenever you finish a typical length team fight, you will have around 30-50 % mana left with frozen waste. From there, you can just grab a drink at the healing fountain and you can immediately go clear minions in lanes, which frozen tempest does really well. Doing this will allow you to get more globes for regen master. Or, you can go and start a camp (which also give globes) while your teammates hearthstone. In infernal shrines and battlefield of eternity, you can take a siege camp by yourself at the speed that sonya can (with biting cold at level 13).

With frozen waste, you don't have to hearthstone back very often. Without it, you'll run out of mana after each team fight.

Also, team fights won't always be 5v5s. You'll have a lot of random semi-teamfights that happen across the map. With frozen waste, you don't need to worry about only using frozen tempest for crucial fights.

Well, it is reasonable. As I say I have no problem with mana on Arthas, especially with frostmourne feeds. But I gonna try to use frozen wastes. It's so hard to change build after hours of gameplay.
P.S. After last patches I don't use Sindragosa in dd build. So hard to realize damage without ghouls.

Great guide on Arthas, its hard to understand why he's fallen below some of the other Warriors but with your talent build, I think he can be viable at higher echelons of play. Great explanations.

Thanks, I certainly hope he becomes more popular at high echelons of play.

Great discussion, thanks. I just bought Arthas and I'm willing to master it, but it seems really hard. I'm used to play Chen and I'm having a hard time surviving with Arthas. But your tips really helped me out.

Hey, I'm glad you found it helpful. This guide is still a work in progress. I'll be updating it in the coming few weeks or so. Good luck mastering arthas.
