Introduction Top

Welcome to my E.T.C. guide. At the moment i write this, builds on this site are outdated, most talents have been moved to other tiers, so new players may be confused. And here i am to end this and help. E.T.C. has everything that warrior needs, but deals almost no damage without his abilities and the Rockstar trait. In order to make anything out of him, you need to understand ability and hero synergies.

Combos and Synergies Top

+
Basic combo in early game. Powerslide behind your enemy and instantly use Face Melt. This will help your team to kill enemy hero. Works similiar to Diablo's Shadow Charge + Overpower combo.

+
This is also a very simple combo. Using Guitar Solo instead of other abilities saves mana. With some heroes that rely on their basic attacks for example Sgt. Hammer, Raynor, Samuro and Illidan, it has insane impact on their damage, increasing it for 15% - 20%. Late game with certain talent you can spam this, healing you and your allies and boosting their damage.

+ +
Last and the most difficult mid/late game combo. Best way to stun multiple enemies quickly. Can be very devastating if followed up, but missing it or getting interrupted leaves you without escape abilities so keep this in mind.

Talents Top

Level 1

All the other talents in this tier provide more survivability not only to you , but also to your team. Only better for clearing mercenary camps.

E.T.C. can heal himself well, but this talent in late game makes you a support tank, being able to keep your team alive in the middle of a teamfight. My favourite talent.

Situational pick depending on the enemy team composition. Good against autoattackers, but has one weakness: not everyone is taking damage from AA.

Level 4

Without the old talent that increases Powerslide's range it's hard to use. Good on some maps where laning is rare and you fight near the objective.

If your team lacks CC to secure a kill, with this they won't need any, only pure damage. Can force the enemy team to play defensively.

Always good if you need to chase enemies or escape. There are some heroes that make Face Melt useless for example Tracer, Illidan, Medivh and Falstad who have enough mobility to ignore it. In this case, this is a good alternative.

Level 7

With other talents your basic attacks will do more damage wothout even using Face Melt. One of the most useless E.T.C. talents.

Big damage vs minions and mercenaries. Great pushing potential especially in the early game. Best pick.

Better single target damage, good on maps like Dragon Shire and Braxis Holdout, where lots of duels happen.

Level 10

Default choice, one of the best heroic abilities in the game.

If you find yourself dying or hearthing a lot on the bigger maps like Blackhearth's Bay or Towers of Doom, you can quickly go back into the fight with full health, stop enemies from taking the obcjective, soak exp or escape.

Level 13

Like all the talents in this tier synergises well with Loud Speakers, making it easier to hit two enemies. Great at disrupting enemies and killing minions.

Maybe this can steal a camp, but other talents can do it as well.

Simply adds slow, making your teams skillshots easier.

Level 16

If the enemy team has a Kerrigan, Jaina or Kael'thas, this talent can make a difference between life and death, but the other talents are just too good to pass.

Perfect choice if you picked Guitar Solo based talents before.

Along with Block Party shuts down enemy AA-based heroes.

Level 20

If you get knocked back by an enemy that was not stunned by you or enemies are spread out this can be good, however i almost never used it.

If the rest of your team has enough CC to lockdown multiple targets so Mosh Pit was not needed, you can smash the enemy team and after the fight ends, finish off enemies or retreat.

You don't want to die, especially in the late game when respawn time is long. Better take something else to do not die.

This ability is for supports mostly, so if you don't have one or he didn't picked this, it's quite powerful.

Most versatile pick here, you can escape, chase or engage with this.

Conclusion Top

E.T.C. is twice as fun when you listen his songs, so i recomend to listen them while playing. Please remember to leave a rating and comment. Goodbye!
