AOE Damage Anub' Arak

With this AOE damage build Anub' Arak can chase down healers, assassins or anybody in the back line and kill them and also many times be one of the leaders in damage on the team. You can fly in with ult on and burrow up stunning the enemies grouped together in team fight. Then activate Harden Carapace for AOE damage, while also dealing AOE with Burning rage to anybody around you. From there you can use Extended spikes to either slow down runners or help keep enemies off you. Rewind lets you use all of your basic abilities over again, devastating to the enemy with your 2 stun/knock-up/chase attacks and AOE shield attack.

Pros

• Can reach backline & chase down runners better than any warrior
• Very good damage
• Can clear waves of minions and camps easily
• Can escape trouble easily

Cons

[*] Less tanky, if you miss skill shots or get focused a long time, you are very vulnerable


I played this build in a ranked games with good success, it is very fun as you can do lots of things well. You can escape, chase, do camps, tank with caution, and do major damage for a tank as well. Here is an example of my recent games(one PUG & one Ranked) using this build, as you can see my damage is at the top:



Just remember you cannot stand and tank a long time with this build. Activate your ult, then try to burrow in and come up under the enemies surprising them and let your ult go to work doing damage and lifestealing for you. Make sure to quickly activate the shield as well for added damage and to make sure you can take some hits. Interrupt any big spells with your Spikes stun move. Many times your team has won the fight if you were able to interrupt them well. If not and you are low on HP and not winning the fight, make your escape when Underking cooldown is back up.
