Introduction Top

Welcome to my first guide. I decided to start with Muradin becouse there are not many updated builds. He is a versatile warrior with great CC, survivability, gap-closer and escape ability. Using the right build effectively can give your team huge advantage in a team fight and outside of it. Now i will explain talent choices so let's get started.

Talents Top

Level 1

Pick this when enemy team has hard-hitting autoattackers as it can greatly reduce damage taken, especially at the start of a fight. If you have a healer following you, this is a good alternative to other talents as it makes you even harder to kill.

This gives you extra damage, and if you can land Storm Bolt often picking this may result in big single target damage and snowballing even further.

This improves your sustain, but does nothing in the middle of a fight. With this talent after returning to healing well you will back at full health very quickly.

Level 4

This talent makes Muradin much better at sieging. Howewer, sieging is not your job, leave it to your specialists.

Increases attack speed slow stronger and it's duration. Especially strong against Illidan and Samuro.

Recent buff to this talent enabled some changes at lvl 7. In my onpinion you must pick some CDR. Iron-forged Momentum and Rewind can fill this role as well.

Improves waveclear and provides some movement speed slow. Synergises well with two Level 13 talents, making them two times stronger.

Level 7

With this talent your Q can hit two enemies, but it may be hard to land it properly, as it requires good positioning.

With this talent you can escape almost from every situation and chase retreating enemies efficiently. But Dwarf Toss is good enough itself so i do not recomend this talent.

Now this gives you 25% attack speed. It means that you can stun faster and more frequently. Good at interrupting Azmodan and Gul'dan for example.

With the nerf Skullcracker is better at chasing enemies and it probably deals more damage, but this still gives more CC.

Level 10

With this heroic you can jump into the middle of the enemy team, and that is where Muradin has the most potential. Great synergy with the next 3 talent tiers.

This is the more versatile heroic, as you can push enemies into your team, knock them off objectives or attacked alies.

Level 13

If you don't need more sustain, this talent is good.

When you pair this with Avatar and sustain talents you are basically invincible for few seconds. This is your defoult talent when there is no support present.

Increases single target damage. This can turn 1v1 fights to our advantage, useless in the middle of the enemy team.

You don't need to worry about burst damage, you have high HP.

Level 16

Dwarf Toss does little damage, and increased radius will not help. Don't pick this talent.

Nerfed from .75 second to .5, very bad without Rewind.

After stunning or slowing an enemy, what happens a lot, you get more damage for 3 seconds, and Skullcracker allows you to have 100% uptime, maximizing your damage as long as enemy is in your AA range.

Greatly reduces attack speed, so your team and you take less damage for 2.5 seconds.

If you use this while in Avatar form, you are extremely hard to kill, and if your enemy doesn't expect this, you can kill him if he is low on HP.

Level 20

Duration doesn't matter, but this talent can help if you are targeted by a powerful CC ult like Devouring Maw.

Haymaker is already devastaing, but with this talent you can shake the entire enemy team and split them up.

Basically makes you invincible for 4 seconds, and if enemies focus you, your team is safe.

With Iron-forged Momentum not being that strong, this talent turns around fights if used at the right moment, but it does require practice.

Team fights Top

This is your main job, so you need to know how to do this. First, use Avatar if you picked it, then use Dwarf Toss to jump into the enemy team, then use Thunder Clap, use Stoneform or Imposing Presence, and when big damage is coming, pop your Hardened Shield and watch the enemy team waste their abilities. Use Storm Bolt and Dwarf Toss to escape or chase enemies.

And now you ask ,,But what to do if i picked Haymaker"? Just jump behind the enemy team, knock them into your own team and watch them die.

Conclusion Top

Please remember to leave a rating and comment. I hope i will make more guides in the future. Have fun playing Muradin.
