INTRODUCTION. Top

Why go Kharazim?

Kharazim Is probably the strongest support in the game currently (until the inevitable balance changes), not only that but he can go assassin if your team needs one. Now I'm not talking a pseudo support assassin like Tassadar or Tyrande, I mean an actual assassin like Valla or Nova.

Also Kharazim is crazy fun to play even when you loose it's a joy to use him, you are also the one who can make crazy plays if you are paying attention.

So why are both of his builds called "Ping Pong", well I got the idea from Diablo 3 where a lot (if not all) of the monks started using builds that focus on "Dashing Strike" ( Radiant Dash) and the community started to dub it the ping pong monk build since you are constantly dashing across the screen.
The name works on the damage build since you wan't to try and use Radiant Dash on enemies to burst them down with the Way of the Hundred Fists talent, it also works on the healing build since you wan't to try and dash into your allies for healing/ safety/ utility.

PRO'S AND CON'S. Top

Pro's ? =

+ Great aoe healing.
+ Extremely fast.
+ Great burst damage if specked into it.
+ Great escapes.
+ Both of his Heroics defy death itself.
+ Play maker.

Con's ? =

- No CC.
- If no allies or enemies (heroes or minions) are in the area the you can't escape.
- Very squishy.
- If caught in roots/ stuns you are 80% of the times dead.

PASSIVE, BASIC ABILITIES AND HEROICS. Top

Passive ability

This is what makes Kharazim such a great hero, being able to pick your passive at the start of the round let's you choose whether you want to go support/ assassin or a bit of both.
Transcendence will heal any nearby allies (or yourself) with every 3rd basic attack you land, now it is important to know that you can't target who receives this heal it will automatically heal the lowest health ally.
Iron Fists gives every 3rd auto attack you land double damage which allows you to really put in some hurt on your enemies.
Insight will give you a small amount of mana with every 3rd basic attack wich is great in the early game, but it really falls off late game when Kharazim's mana problems pretty much evaporates.
It is also important to note that each one of these passives procs with Deadly Reach so you can really pull out the damage/ healing/ mana regen IF the target stands still for about 2-3 seconds.

Basic abilities

Such a great ability you can use it to chase, to escape, to burst people down*, to give movement speed* or to reveal an area*. It has 2 charges that has about 12 seconds to refresh a charge and using a charge also uses mana so be careful if your low on mana so you don't overextend without a way to escape or if your running away and you can't dash towards an ally.
(* requires talents).

If you have 2 allies near you then this skill is unbelievable, where most supports can only heal a single target, this skill heals everybody in an aoe around you. It has an 8 second cooldown so you can't spam it at all, but what makes up for that is the fact that you give a movement speed boost to anybody that you heal with it (great for chasing or escaping). A neat feature that many people may miss is the fact that if an ally is close enough to get healed a visual aid appears underneath their feet so you can see if they will get healed or not, this skill does not heal minions.

Now here is where most of your damage is going to be coming from, the auto attack range is deceptively long so most people will think that they got away and BOOM their dead, not only that but the attack speed boost is unbelievable and will allow you to proc your passives hellah fast. It has a 10 second cooldown and only a 2 second duration at base.

Heroic Abilities

Death defying, that's all I have to say since you can pop this and you don't take any damage plus you launch 7 strikes that deal 7% of the enemies total health EACH TIME to anybody foolish enough to stay in the area. It also combo's really well with other heroes, for example Kael'thas and his Chain Bomb talent makes it so the enemy team tries to spread out then you find a lone hero and boom 50% of there health gone if they take all 7 strikes, or if they clump up to negate your damage then Kael'thas comes in and just Chain Bombs the entire enemy team.
Has a 50 second cooldown.

A very tricky Heroic to use, since it only heals an ally if they take fatal damage, so all the enemy team has to do is not damage the hero with this on them and then kill it after the 3 second duration BUT if you do manage to get it off right before you or your ally dies then it catches the enemy team completely off guard. An example would be if they nearly killed your Illidan (which is a high priority target) and he comes back with half health making the enemy team have to go and kill him again. If you practice with this heroic you will be a great asset to any team. Has a 60 second cooldown.

DAMAGE PING PONG TALENTS AND POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS. Top

Level 01 =
We take this because it gives you great burst damage if you combine it with Deadly Reach.
Other choices?

Level 04 =
We take this to help is chase enemies since they can escape fairly quickly from your Deadly Reach range.
Other choices?

Level 07 =
This is REQUIRED for this build we are trying to go burst instead of sustain damage since Kharazim is really squishy, you want to hop in and then out.
Other choices?

Level 10 =
Taking this will allow you to really help out in a team fight since doing 7% of the enemies health in one hit is really good. Try to use it on the enemy warrior when they overextend to really swing the fight in your teams favour.
Other choices?

Level 13 =
Taking this will allow your passive to proc way more frequently allowing you to do a lot more damage.
Other choices?

Level 16 =
This allows you to dash more frequently that then translates to more damage because of Way of the Hundred Fists, it's also great so you have more charges to escape as well.
Other choices?

Level 20 =
Please take this over any other choice since it allows you to dash another 2 times translating to more damage, the mana gain is also really nice for when you are out of mana and you want to escape or initiate.

HEALING PING PONG TALENTS AND POSSIBLE REPLACEMENTS. Top

Level 01 =
This allows you to heal allies when Breath of Heaven is on cooldown and it really shines when used with Deadly Reach.
Other choices?

Level 04 =
All around great supportive talent since it allows you to shield a nearby ally from damage allowing them to either escape or fight without fear.
Other choices?

Level 07 =
This is REQUIRED as it helps out in your healing department since Breath of Heaven's cooldown is fairly long and this allows you to heal more without waiting for the 8 second cooldown.
Other choices?

Level 10 =
This is your healing Heroic, you are going for a more supporting role, so take this and learn to use it right before your ally dies thus giving the enemy team less of a chance to stop before it procs.
Other choices?

Level 13 =
This is taken so you can heal a lot more with your passive in fights, be sure to auto attack as long as you can and try to hit with your allies in range of the healing.
Other choices?

Level 16 =
Hakuna Matata, it means "I don't give a flying ****". This will heal your team for a stupid amount, be sure to get as many allies in the healing range as possible as that boosts the healing the will receive by a **** ton. It does not increase the healing if you are the only one being healed. It also works with Echo of Heaven's second cast.
Other choices?

Level 20 =
What is there to explain? Its a shield absorbing damage to ANYBODY who was in range of your cast, nothing needs to be said more on this.
