With the recent patch brought about Morales (everywhere). You should have a support regardless. I am not a professional and nowhere near one. I'm average at best. This is just my personal reasoning behind this build.
Again i'm not some mlg420xxxxprosnipar ladder stall quick scope player. This is just how I like to play one of my favorite heroes and with the recent rework of Stitches, he is awesome.

Hots log still has him at the bottom, but this is liable to change pretty fast with the update to Stitches.

Stitches is now one of THE perfect heroes to engage with or grab that hero trying to escape, able to take a hit and keep the focused target near your team to secure the kill.

The recent re-work of Stitches has made him viable again for team play. I've seen people choose Heavy Slam and other dps talents which I strongly advise against using. Stitches has very low dps (he is not good at taking camps alone to be efficient so have a team mate with you if you are taking a camp).

Slow, slow and slow. Stack that slow, Stitches is built to keeping that KT near you and preventing him from running away.

Talent Choices Top

For some reason some of the talent pictures will not display for level 17 and lvl 20.
LEVEL 1
Chew Your Food : A little regen, I think early on it is nice. Later though not so much.
Dampen Magic : This one is pretty neat I suppose, but every 8 seconds you gain a charge. Your Jaina will probably be the enemy ability focus, so I don't think this is needed.
*Hungry For More* : Stitches had his base health increased per level. This new talent can give you a massive health pool to ensure you stay alive long enough to make sure you team steam rolls the focus'd target This one everytime.
Heavy Slam : No. Don't do it. Stitches has very low damage. He is more for utility and preventing escapes (to me at least). I've seen a few choose this and they usually pay dearly for it.

LEVEL 4
*Amplified Healing* : Increase regen effects AND healing by 30%? That is a huge sustain ability. Even a quick Rehgar Chain heal will be boosted massively with this power.
Mercenary Lord : You are not really a Zagara or Nazeebo. I don't think you should be worrying about walls with your low dps and should be focused on helping your team get that overextended Jaina.
Vile Cleaver : Basic attacks create vile gas on target. again, you are not dps.
Putrid Ground : Amplified healing is the best choice for this tier. The benefits it provides is just to much to pass up.

LEVEL 7
Savor The Flavor : Devour gives +2 hp regen, this is in my opinion not an efficient choice for late game, your amplified healing, large health pool and support should be enough to keep you around.
Last Bite : Devour has to kill an enemy to reduce the cd. How often do you think you think you are going to get a chance to proc this?
*Tenderizer* : Basic attacks slow by 25% for 1.5 seconds? HELL YES. Your hooked enemy isn't going anywhere. This one all day.
Toxic Gas : Increase radius and duration of Vile Gas. Choose this over a slow? Just no.

LEVEL 10
*Putrid Bile* : This is a hard choice and mainly dependent on how your team has been playing and what the comp's of both teams are. Putrid Bile I think overall is the choice, it is a great laning tool, the 35% slow and movement speed bonus you get are great for preventing escape or to allow your team mates to disengage safely. It's damage output however is less than Arthas's E so don't depend on it as a huge dps boost.
Gorge : This isn't really a great choice in my opinion, can give the enemy team 3 seconds to dive in and save their team mate. Has a high chance for misuse as in it is easy to use Gorge at the wrong time. Plus, when you hook that Nazeebo and slow him, chances are you are probably going to get him down.

LEVEL 13
*Relentless* : Reduce basically anything that prevents control of character duration by half. By the time you get this talent, chances are your enemy has a ton of stuns. This is a godsend and makes sure you keep being that aggressive slow machine as your team wrecks everything around you.
Mega Smash : Range and arc increase of Slam. It's ok I suppose if you just want to be annoying, but won't really do anything.
Indigestion : Creates a little minion on Devour that is not really worth what little damage it brings.
Healing Hand : This could be great for helping that team mate that overextended to much. But chances are that team mate is probably going to be inside a group of enemies so your hook will end up getting a minion or a enemy instead.

LEVEL 16
*Pulverize* : Decrease Slam cool down by 2 seconds and SLOWS by 75% for 1 second. Slam is 6 seconds instead of 8. I chose this one because when you hook that enemy they are going to try to escape. You are there to prevent that. Hook>Slam>Basic Attack Tenderizer> Yeah they aren't going anywhere.
Fishing Hook : Really all talents in this tree are viable. Make your long hook range insanely long. But most enemies will be able to dodge it at that length as you can see the hook coming.
Shish Kabob : Pull two targets with hook. Nice, but you don't want to pull their Muradin with the guy your trying to focus and Muradin stuns your Kael'Thas which negates your gank you were trying to setup.
Stoneskin : Man, this is a good one too, 30% of your health as a shield for 5 seconds? Hard choice but that 75% slow with Slam is just way to good to pass up.

LEVEL 20
Regenerative Bile Your ultimate lasts 2 seconds longer, 10% extra movement speed for you and heals you for 50% of the damage you deal with it. Pretty neat I suppose, but most people are not really going to stand in the bile for the heal to pay off. The movement speed I suppose for escaping or if you want to enclose the enemy team with it. But seems counter-productive to what your purpose is.
Hungry Hungry Stitches : Actually a pretty fun talent with the ultimate, you can grab 3-4 heroes at a time and let your team try to focus the remaining guy. It's more of a fun talent then a viable one in my opinion.
Hardened Shield : This one reduces all damage you take for 4 seconds. This is an amazing sustain talent to pick and makes the enemy regret it if they try to focus you as they will waste their cd's on you.
Bolt Of The Storm : This is a second choice talent behind Hardened Shield. Lets you chase or escape very well. It was recently nerfed as in the cool down increased. It is pretty funny to gorge a hero and bolt of the storm away behind your base. But again, that's just having a good time.

Early Game:

Just focus on picking up health orbs for that extra health. Always be there for map objectives. You will be squishy but your death for a few of the enemy dps is well worth it. Always be aware of any chance to catch a laner off guard with hook so you team can get an easy early game kill.

Mid-Game:

At this point you should be with your team more often then not. Stitches want play! Let your team mates play with your pet you just hooked. Coordinate a target you guys are going to focus in case a fight breaks out. Use your massive body to block the enemy from getting away.

Late Game:

You are moving as a mob every time. Slow anyone that tries to escape or goes after your support or dps. Remember your Putrid Bile, create a wall between your squishies and theirs. You don't have any damage but you do have slows that help your team out immensely. Hook that squishy every time.
