Introduction Top

This build is what I use to stay in lane solo, and be able to stay in team fights when others need to go hit the sippy cup. Not many heroes are able to keep their damage high while building to sustain. This build is perfect for harassing at Cursed Hallow while waiting for your team to get back in the fight. Its perfect for getting spider butts at the Spider Queens Tomb, or just soloing a camps.

Trait

Frostwolf Resilience is the reason Thrall stand out against other assassins. This ability stacks 5 times, at the 5th stack heals you instantly healed for 660 health (90 + 30 per level). When playing as Thrall you need to keep track of your stacks at all times, but most importantly when you are about to initiate a fight, so when focused you can heal by casting your Chain Lightning & Feral Spirit.

Abilities Choices Top

Tier 1

Rabid Wolves Gives 3 stacks of Frostwolf Resilience when you root a Hero with it. So get good with this skill shot because it will not only save your life but swing the tide of a team fight. Also awesome for those 1v1 fights when the other hero things they can dip.

Tier 2

Ride The Lightning is a great tool to further both damage in lane, passive damage in team fights, but also adding further healing from Thrall's Frostwolf Resilience.

Tier 3

Follow Through has its detractors & will state that the cool down reduction to Windfury with Wind Shear is a better choice, but being melee additional 40% increase on your next auto attack will effect immediately the current team fight not 8 seconds later. And with building so much on Frostwolf Resilience you'll be able to stay in fights longer and use Windfury again.

Tier 4

Earthquake is my go to in most situations the radial slow is a great counter to assassin heroes like Illidan & Zeratul or diving tank initiations like Tyrael & Joanna.

Sundering is perfect for the initiation of team fights. Split a team in two and burst down those you want to focus or just the closest hero. Its hard to go wrong with either of these. Both are always valid, and it will depend on your teams need.

Tier 5

Grace Of Air is furthering our ability to sustain in team fights through Frostwolf Resilience.

Tier 6

Tempest Fury is where Thrall gets his burst damage from, and with Nexus Blades coming up this is a sure fire way to end any heroes streak.

Tier 7

Nexus Blades is the no brainer choice here, for the slows and the synergy with Follow Through
