YES: Olaf the Stout

This allows The Lost Vikings to clear the Siege jungle at level 1, while your teammates soak experience. (proper micro is required!).(rumour: they may fix it.)

NO Spy games: Erik has a very low health pool. The possibility of wasting mount ability, just to save him is not worth it.
NO Viking Hoard: Its dependent on you getting to the wizard within the minions in each lane in order to be optimal, very risky.
