This build is outdated. Can you update this build? If you are not, you should delete it.

You should try switching lead rain and bold of the storm with stim pack and nexus frenzy. Stim pack is just as good as an escape if your proactive and aware. You can also turn around and pot shot a pursuer or just keep running. You can also chase with it.

Additionally having both nexus frenzy and stim pack is like an additional 3 second overkill, and when stim pack runs out you still have tychus's amazing DPS which is nothing to scoff at with the recent range buff.

I really don't like Nexus Frenzy at all.

Here's why:

Level 10 Laser is awful. It actually sucks. Everyone from the dawn of Tychus knows this and that's why Odin was so prominent before. Then when people actually used laser and got to 20, they were like "Whoa this is so good", plus Odin got reworked. But Odin is hardly worse than pre-rework, I actually like it more. Still, level 20 laser is pretty insane.

Giving up lv 20 laser for Nexus Frenzy = Not Worth.

Alternatively, if you use Odin to synergize with Nexus Frenzy better, Stim Pack doesn't do you any good (Since you'll be in Odin during teamfights), your survivability is pretty low because of how dive-able you are during Odin (It's extremely easy to be hit by things like Flamestrike in Odin, all it takes is a tank to jump on you and body-block and you're donezo), and Odin + NF is basically a "They're just hitting lv 16 and I'm 20, let's destroy them" combination.

I don't like Nexus Frenzy in either scenario, though it can work just fine if you're ahead or you aren't getting focused.

Not sure I understand the question.

Tychus' AA range was never 5.5, it was 4.5. It was changed to 5.5 in the most recent patch to match other Ranged Assassins' range.

Np Arken!

Nice job that game, I love taking out Novas as Tychus.

Thanks a ton for the build, it's the first one I read, and it's the only one I use. Just got 124k hero damage on one game, and just because of that I bought Tychus for good. The enemy Nova didn't stand a chance.

@MikePrime:

LOL.

Aight, just in homage of your post I'll do that for ya.

Positioning can be tricky to explain though since it changes so much depending on so many circumstances, but I'll do my best to explain it.

Hey Severage,

Awesome guide for Tychus. I read your guide, and immediately dropped 4000 Gs to get Tychus and play with him.

I'm getting better with Tychus, especially with the DUDUDUDDUDU build. However, I still need to make sure that I don't overextend myself and ending up with a DUDUDUDUDUDU...DUMBASS moments when I get ganked for being sloppy and de facto dumbass with Tychus.

Would you mind creating a section on your guide with more details on positioning, engaging, and when to disengage from doing DUDUDUDUDU so it's actually deadly and not end up being a DUDUDUDUDU...DUMBASS moment for Tychus?

I figure I need to keep my post in tone with your guide's sense of humor.

Cheers.

P.S.: Feel free to use the DUDUDUDUDU...DUMBASS line in your guide. Least thing I can give you for spending the time to write this awesome guide.

Viable variations include: DUDUDUDUDU....DUDD, or DUDUDUDUDUDU...DURRR/DUUHHH. I can keep going all day, and Tychus approves.

Probably it's me or that guy did know how to play but I find Brightwing to be hard to fight as tychus

Yeah, BW is up there with Muradin, but even better because point-and-click. Hopefully you have some other threat on your team that you can wait for your teammate to get poly'd, or take the poly for your teammate. If you're like...the only one going in then it'll just be a waste of your CD.

Also, taking Odin might be a good idea, even though Laser is typically a better option. Odin isn't CD reliant so all you have to do is not right-click whoever BW pixie-dusts and you're good.

Yo, I really like this guide it made me want to buy tychus (which I did) but lately I'm getting only matchups with counters and can't do **** .
