Avenging Wrath is a key component to these builds. And the character as a whole.

Don't just dive. Yrel manipulates character positioning while buffing her teammates' health or armour. Reposition the enemy to suffer vs your teammates, your towers, bosses, etc. Your Hammer's knockback is just as good as it's stun, many times better because it is immediate even if enemy has no control you can still use the shorten instant attack to move and enemy into your team or a location attack about to land. Nukes, blizzards, etc.

So save your team, draw fire, pull back to heal to keep fighting and threaten enemies with displacement. If CC is a big problem then go the Unstoppable Wrath route.
