Chromaggus

Minion of Nefarius

Hello everyone! Here's Cooler39140 - a kind-of veteran "League of Legends" character creator. I decided to venture beyond my actual limits, entering the depths of HotS champion creating. Today we'll be focusing about Chromaggus, one of the "greates achievements" earned by Nefarius that is the pre-last boss of Blackwing Lair raid dungeon, coming after Flamegor and before the Nefarian himself. Just a reminder that this concept is sponsored by Gnar.

Combat Trait

1
Brood Affliction
Chromaggus cannot normally use his abilities, but he can activate this trait to aquire a random Brood Affliction. The Brood Afflictions debuff enemy heroes damaged by your basic attacks and trigger a random effect when aquired. The Brood Afflictions last for 25 seconds.

Notes: All cone ranges given by your Primary Abilities are worth 575 range. Their width is worth 350 range.

Section #2

Chromaggus is quite a unique Warrior on his own due to his RNG aspect and more unique tools like decreasing the abilities' range. He has no gap closer until lvl 10 with Enrage and Frenzy or until lvl 20 with Bolt of the Storm, but he can take it up with much utility and powerful effects. Sadly, you cannot choose more than one talent for each breath. At least each breath becomes stronger.

There are various ways to build Chromaggus that you can have fun with. I'll showcase two main builds tha tmight probably the most if my version of Chromaggus with come out. I'd call them Enrage and Frenzy.

This build is more focused on 1v1 duels, which is what Chromaggus is actually good at if he can reach the target. The sheer amount of tools he can aquire can make our two-headed drakonid into a monster. Allthough it might need lots of luck and skill overally, you can still manage to get nice results.

Your goal is of course to rule every 1v1 duel you can face. The sheer amount of tools makes sure of it, so you can cahse even these fast and mobile assassin, so you can just throw them up to your Margheritta to swallow them with taste. Your talent breakdown should be: Heart Attack, Shattering Timeline, Soothing Breath, Enrage and Frenzy, Any Tier 5 Talent, Shadow Teleport, Nexus Blades.

About the tier 5 talents, they all suit this build, it mostly depends on your preferrences and of course the map and the opponents you duel with. Immobilize can be good for chasing fleeing enemies, Force Pulse is also good for the same purpose, Avalanche can block the enemy's way of his escape path, Crystallized Breath can help you finish the opponent or againt prevent him to AA you too often.

This build is more focused on team fights which are also a good point of Chromaggus. He can provide a sheer amount of tools much like in duel build, but there he can go with more flexibility in case of talent breakdown. That's pretty nice.

Your main goal is to provide much tools for your team, because you want to do that anyways. That way, you can create better situations for your team. Your talent breakdown should be: Heart Attack, Shattering Timeline/Ghost of Chronicles, Helpful Breath, Enrage and Frenzy/Shimmer, Any Tier 5 Talent, Shadow Teleport, Trembling Attacks/Multi-colored Scales/Bolt of the Storm.

About the choices in "/", they're all good, but it mostly depends on situation and preferrences. Shattered Timeline is great for preventing enemies from escaping your team, but Ghost of Chronicles acts like a nice poke tool, which is what your team will sometimes really need. Enrage and Frenzy is good for keeping enemies, but you shouldn't regret picking Shimmer for that double Brood Afflictions that can come pretty handy.

About Tier 5 Talents, see Enrage build for more. And now let's roar at Tier 7. Trembiling Attacks is again good for keeping enemies for longer, but free Shimmers can be game-chaning, too. Blt of the Storm can let you get closer to enemies, and so helping your allies if you manage to get the right breath.

Thank you for taking your time for reading my champion concept, my fellow reader! Also big thanks for https://www.fontsquirrel.com for contributing and making awesome fonts that came handy for my work; and thanks to Microsoft for their Powerpoint and Paint. I dunno if I'll decorate this concept without their help. See you next time! ;]
