Maar

Hybrid Destroyer

The first born Hybrid. Maar fought against Zeratul on the planet Zhakul, stealing life essence from The Preservers to fuel his power. Now he enters the Nexus, ready to destroy all before him.

This hero can see and target stealthed heroes.

Primary Abilities

Plasma Blast [Q]
Shoot a ball of plasma that deals 260 (+4%) damage to the first target hit and splashing for 50% damage.

Cooldown: 12 Seconds

Graviton Prison [W]
Make the target enemy float in the air, disabling it for 2 second and dealing 60 (+4%) damage over the duration. Does not affect bosses.

Cooldown: 18 Seconds

Psionic Shockwave [E]
Knocks all enemy units away, dealing 20 (+4%) damage and stunning them for 0.25 seconds.

Cooldown: 15 Seconds

Heroic Abilities

Consume DNA [R]
Fires blue energy balls which absorb the target's life essence, dealing 450 (+4%) damage and healing for the same amount. Cannot be used on structures or mechanical targets.

Cooldown: 50 Seconds

Separation [R]
Creates two AI controlled clones of Maar with full life, shields, damage, and all basic abilities and talents. The clones will last until either they or Maar are killed. You can only have 2 active clones.

Cooldown: 450 seconds

Special Mount

Levitation
This hero has no mount. Instead activate levitation to increase movement speed.

Talents

Tier 1:



Psionic Shield: Gain a shield equal to 25% of your max health. The shield will regenerate if you have not taken damage for 10 seconds.

Energy Siphon: For every dead ally your damage is increased by 10%

Destroyer: Cause your basic attacks to splash for 50% damage.


Tier 2:



Oblivion: Quest: Hit 40 heroes with Plasma Blast. Dying will reset quest progress. Reward: Increase the range and damage of Plasma Blast by 50% and dying will no longer reset quest.

Psionic Jailer: Quest: Hit 30 heroes with Graviton Prison. Reward: Increase Graviton Prison's duration by 1 second and increase it's damage by 30 (+4%).

Dominator: Quest: Hit 50 Heroes with basic attacks. Reward: Increase your basic attack speed by 25%.


Tier 3:



Glide: Increase your Levitation movement speed by 20%.

Psionic Pulsar: Increase the range of Psionic Shockwave by 25% but increase it's cooldown by 2 seconds.

Graviton Feedback: Killing an enemy hero affected by Graviton Prison will reduce it's cooldown by 9 seconds.

Tier 5:



Phase Shift: Activate to cause Maar to phase out for 2 seconds, becoming immune to all damage and CC effects. Maar cannot attack during Phase Shift. Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Dark Defence: When stunned, gain a 200 (+4%) shield that lasts for 3 seconds. This effect can stack.

Spell Shield: Every 30 seconds, gain 50 Spell Armor against the next enemy ability and subsequent abilities for 3 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 50%.


Tier 6:



Plasma Fury: Reduce the cooldown of Plasma Blast by 4 seconds.

Psionic Implosion: Reverse the effect of Psionic Shockwave, knocking all enemies toward you instead.

Graviton Trap: Enemy heroes that come into contact with a unit affected by Graviton Prison will be put in their own prison.


Tier 7:



Drain All Essence: When Consume DNA is used on non-heroic targets, it's cooldown is reset.

Replicants: Your clones will cast Separation 225 seconds after being summoned. They can only do this once. The replicants only have 25% of your max health and deal 75% less damage.

Nemesis: Increase your basic attack range by 3.

Bolt of the Storm: Activate to teleport to a nearby location. Cooldown 70 seconds.

Yeah, I was trying to get something in-between a specialist and an assassin. I didn't really want to class him as an assassin as Starcraft has a 3 already, but yeah he does fit that class more I guess.

He should ba an assassin. He can root enemies and deal lots of damage so change it. Also, Life Drain shouldn't save the stack and/or it would need to have a max. to prevent players from insta-revive.
