Shadow is a monster with the objective of destroying everything

Please sugest some talents and balancing tips.

Combat Trait

Shadow Stalker absorves the souls from fallen units to become stronger. Each enemy minion/merc gives 1 soul, and each enemy hero gives 3 souls.

3
Heart Attack

1
Paranormal Presence
Nearby enemies are slowed by 40%(mount speed) and get silenced for 4 seconds.
2

But the revive heroic ability seem too OP, and even more with the talent upgrade ^^

When I made revive, I still had The True Form doing 50% more damage to the core. I'm now changing Revive to only reive non-catapult lane minions, to stop catapults and mercs from piling up on the core.

In my first idea : you use Jar of soul in an nearby enemy unit, then you use the W spell to an nearby enemy unit of the first selected unit. And you now possess this new unit and only this one. So the W spell would just be to reach further enemy, or to flee or something else :)

All debuffs from Shadow's abilities WOULD (because I'm not Blizzard dev.) be removed as soon as the possession is ended.

Okay so it's seems balanced.

So here my build : Compressed Souls>Mind Control>Depression>Revive>Kill Secure (very hard too choose on this tiers)>Peer Pressure>Terracotta Army

But the revive heroic ability seem too OP, and even more with the talent upgrade ^^

If shadow is ejected, does self-torture continue to apply ?

With this I think you're saying Shadow would be able to select which enemy to use the secondary ability (Self-Toture or Heart Attack) on. It would be a bit OP as the enemy team wouldn't be able to stop you from overwhelming them by spaming the Soul Transfer, and using minions and structures as a bridge to the back-line.

Also, I first imagined Shadow as a backdoor hero like Hammer or Sylvannas that can simply slowly destroy enemy structures and easily clear lanes. Then I realized he could have A LOT of teamfight potetial, as he can deal 1600 to a single target at lvl.20.

Yes, Soul Transfer is a bait to trick the enemy into hitting the wrong ball.

Oh I though it was to allow to possess enemy out of range (and it would be funny to get an enemy killed because an other enemy come close to him while he try to teleport back :D). I am not a big fan of the bait thing.

I also found SELF-TORTURE to be a little too much OP, and even more with talent associed. It litteraly remove one person from the fight. Hum after thinking, shadow is also not in the fight, so maybe it's good.

If shadow is ejected, does self-torture continue to apply ?

For SOUL TRANSFER => "The other secondary abilities only attack the original possessed enemy." => So if I possess UNIT1 then use W to possess UNIT2 and use hearth attack that will damage UNIT1 ?

Yes, Soul Transfer is a bait to trick the enemy into hitting the wrong ball.

Quoted:
"(This recharge does NOT combine with the normal possession recharge)" (hearth attack) => I don't understand

Those were leftovers from a rework :)

Quoted:
"Compressed Souls" => you mean when we possess someone we deal 1 damage per second ?

[Fixed] Dark Ball is destroyed by 2 basic attacks, this talent increases that by 2.

Quoted:
"doge" => 2 charges ?

Block with a different name, because shadows can't "block"

Quoted:
"Soul Leech" => the "minion take glove too" only apply to globe picked up by possessed enemy ?

The minion that you possess can pick up globes as heroes do, allowing you to pick up 2 globes (yours and the enemy team's one) so you basicly heal by twice what you would normally.

I really like the starting concept, and the floating ball to allow to expulse him is really a good idea.

But before giving detail review, there is things I don't understand :

For SOUL TRANSFER => "The other secondary abilities only attack the original possessed enemy." => So if I possess UNIT1 then use W to possess UNIT2 and use hearth attack that will damage UNIT1 ?

"(This recharge does NOT combine with the normal possession recharge)" (hearth attack) => I don't understand

"Compressed Souls" => you mean when we possess someone we deal 1 damage per second ?

"doge" => 2 charges ?

"Soul Leech" => the "minion take glove too" only apply to globe picked up by possessed enemy ?

Thanks !

I based his abilities and talents on already existing heroes. Also, it's a bit hard to make heroes, because on the paper some things seem cool, but when it's actually on the game, it's completly different. I would imagine Shadow more like a leech that would be jumping from body to body.
I want to make the most annoying hero on the game, even more annoying than Murky.

His second heroic was just a "hater bait", because I didn't know what to do and I needed ideas.

nice! I like the idea of an Abathur in an enemy hero but his trait is too similar to butchers one and i dont understand if hes like abathur easy to kill or is able to lane because that would make his kit a bit weird and the second ultimate maybe too underwhelming or too op if he is a normal dude in lane.

And where did u get this cool spell pictures from? :D
