Gul'dan's dps is rather low, but he has great sustainability. If you play safe, you will never have to hs back to base for recovering mana and health. Make sure you are not in the forefront, but behind the tank and melee assassins, make heavy use of lifetap and use Consume Soul on minions to replentish your health pool.
