Talents

Level 1:

  • Reflective Armor - Identical to the "Block" talent on other heroes.
  • Deadly Aim - Quest: Killing minions with basic attacks permanently increases basic attack damage by 0.1 per kill. Hero Takedowns increase basic attack damage by 0.5 per kill. Reward: When Genji reaches 40 bonus attack damage, his basic attack range is increased by 15%.
  • I Was Hoping For a Challenge (W) - Quest: Land the killing blow on 10 enemy Heroes using Swift Strike. Reward: Swift Strike's cooldown is reduced by 0.2 seconds for each successful killing blow, up to a maximum of 2 seconds.
  • Measure Twice, Cut Once (W) - Swift Strike has 10% increased range.

Level 4:

  • Internal Nanomachines - Genji gains an additional 20% to regeneration effects and all healing.
  • Fanning the Blades (Q) - Fan of Blades's cooldown refreshes 1 second faster if all three strikes hit the same enemy Hero.
  • Improved Throwing Servos (Q) - Increases the range of Fan of Blades by 20%.
  • That's It? (E) - Quest: Deflect 5000 damage. Reward: Deflect lasts 1 second longer.

Level 7:

  • If I Only Had a Heart - Genji's ability cooldowns are reduced by 1 second each time he picks up a Regeneration Globe. This effect can only be used once every 5 seconds.
  • Poison-Tipped Shuriken - Activate to have Genji's next basic attack deal an additional 275 (+4%) damage over 4 seconds. Can only be used once every 30 seconds.
  • Double Jump (D) - Genji can leap over larger terrain obstacles now, including structures such as forts and keeps. Doing so will increase Cyber-Agility's cooldown to 4 seconds.

Level 10:

  • Dragonblade (R) - As above.
  • Smoke Bomb (R) - As above.

Level 13:

  • Burst of Speed - Activate to gain an additional 50% movement speed for 4 seconds. This cannot be activated while Dragonblade is active.
  • Enhanced Jumping (D) - Cyber-Agility no longer has a cooldown for normal jumps. If Double Jump is used, the cooldown is reduced to 3 seconds.
  • Five-Point Palmed Shuriken Technique (Q) - Fan of Blades fires an additional 2 shurikens.

Level 16:

  • Precision Throws - Basic attacks against Heroes will now deal an additional 2% of the Hero's maximum Health as damage.
  • Bouncing Shuriken - Basic attacks bounce off of their target to one additional target, dealing 50% of normal damage.
  • Warrior Spirit (W) - Striking 5 enemy Heroes with Swift Strike allows Genji to activate Warrior Spirit, increasing his attack speed by 0.5 for 5 seconds.
  • Try to Show Me That You're Serious (E) - When an enemy Hero is hit by the re-directed damage of Deflect, they take 20% more damage than Genji negated during that time.

Level 20:

  • The Dragon Becomes Me (R) - Whenever Genji kills an enemy Hero while Dragonblade is active, the duration of the effect is reset.
  • Vanishing Ninja (R) - Smoke Bomb now allows Genji to teleport to a nearby location upon activation.
  • My Soul Seeks Balance - Genji will deal 25% more damage to enemy Heroes with a smaller percentage of health remaining than he has, and 25% less damage to enemy Heroes with a larger percentage of health remaining than he has.
  • Lacerating Shuriken - Identical to the "Nexus Blades" talent on other heroes.
