Threat Hero Notes
1
Murky Murky does little to you and if anything is just a nuisance, do your best to avoid wasting any spells on him unless there are no other alternatives - he is just fodder.
1
Lt. Morales Morales has very little to stop you reaching in and taking out her soul, she must hope her team mates are there to help.
2
Chen Chen can be a nuisance to your engage/mobility if he takes the 90% slow kick talent. Use your abilities to interrupt his drinking and he is cannon fodder for your team.
2
Tyrande If you can dodge Tyrande's stun and be careful not to engage with vulnerability on you, then she is a prime target to be combo'd with Shadow Charge > Overpower > Shadow Charge, very little counter play left for her except sprint.
2
Sgt. Hammer Do not use your charge unless there is follow up to your engage, as the chances are he will Concussive Blast you away and you will struggle to get the Overpower off. Try to position/mount into his range to force the use of Concussive Blast and then combo him for the kill.
2
Lunara Lunara can easily get away from you but she can also easily be cc'd to oblivion - just depends on her cooldowns and how she plays.
2
Sonya Sonya will hate you, simply put you can devastate her engage and waste her cooldowns. She spins you charge or throw, she leaps in you throw her back out.
3
Kael'thas Kael can be a frustrating one to play versus, if you dodge his gravity lapse he is yours for the taking, no probs.
4
Valla Valla can really hurt if she gets rolling on you from range, and your caught out of position - just keep an eye on talent choices as Giant Killer will shred you quite rapidly.
5
Tassadar Due to Tassadar's Dimensional Shift I'd avoid using any engage on him until he has used it, or unless you want to force his passive Shift out.
5
Sylvanas Sylvanas is an easy kill in theory, but her get out is difficult to shut down unless she misplays it. She also is one to watch out for with her vulnerability later on in the game, and you will want to keep an keen eye for that unless you plan to die very quickly.
5
Falstad Falstad is a good target to go for, but be aware that he can poke you down quite easily and if he has Lighting Rod on you he will most certainly out trade any harassment you can put out (although if he has blown his Barrel Roll) If you can get in close enough to force the use Barrel Roll without any of your abilities then he can easily be killed..

Overview Top

I'm currently a Rank 1 with an 80% win rate on Diablo, this is my first guide that I'm releasing and can hopefully sway more people around to the play style of Murkyablo - the Deathsoaker. With this build you can be a constant pressure in fights and even with some good play waste a lot of your enemies resources and time in killing you for only a +5second death timer.

This build is extremely useful on maps that require fighting over objectives such as Battlefield of Eternity / Dragon Shire / Cursed Hollow / Towers of Doom / Blackheart's Bay / Infernal Shrines / Sky Temple / Garden of Terror.

Aren't You Squishy? Top

This question is asked a lot by people that I've explained this build to, and you are to an extent but due to the passive regen of your soulstone your HP is always increasing, you are always stacking above 60 stones and you can roam a lot more effectively as you aren't tired to soaking minions to grow your stacks.

By roaming a lot you can create opportunities for your team to get kills, snowball dominance in the lane, get more xp and control objectives if timed well. Generally in my experience if you plan your ganks well you will always come out on top, and at an advantage - BUT even if it doesn't go your way, you take a 5 second death and get back to it.

Deathsoaker Diablo's Team Role Top

You are a front line brawler, a CC machine.

Your first and foremost task is picking the right target for your team, getting that person and pushing them into harms way. This doesn't mean charging in to the enemies backline 1 v 5 and shouting at your team "WHERE THE **** WERE YOU GUYS???!?!?!?", be sensible and pick wisely and make sure there are going to be follow ups to your engages, otherwise your wasting mana and your time.

You can be very tanky at max souls, and if you can control your champion to move out of most skillshots/aoes then you should fair pretty well against most enemies.

Protector of the Squish Top

This build is also very strong once you reach tier 6 talents and can do a triple stun/throw combo, this practically eliminates any threat to your backline if you're on protection duty. An example of this would be all in champions like Illidan / Kerrigan:

Illidan Jumps in, you Shadow Charge > Overpower and then hes free to do whatever, but if you wait till he uses evasion, and then do the combo he is free kill for your team to collapse upon.

Why Not Choose Apocalypse? Top

I've got a hatred for Apocalypse, I see far too many Diablo's choose this ultimate without thinking about team comp, if you have people who can stun/lock down targets then sure, it's a good pick.

Lightning Breath has great area denial and can really sway fights that have hard to reach squishies, once upgraded again it can do devastating damage coupled with other champions ults.
