4
Tyrande Tyrande is only a threat to you if she is purposely targeting you with her ranged stun. This will lead to you being focused down by other heroes quickly.
5
Muradin While he doesn't have high damage himself, Muradin's stuns and ability to jump on you make him quite threatening. Locking Sylvanas down for even a second can quickly lead to her death.
5
Uther Armed with an AoE stun, Uther is just as annoying as Muradin; Just try to keep these guys as far away from you in teamfights as possible.
6
Sonya Sonya is only a threat to you if she goes the Ancient Spear build. Be aware of her talents, and keep her at a distance if you see her building for it
7
Thrall Thrall can be a significant threat if he lands his root, being able to catch you easily with Windfury. Because he does not have a stun, you can usually escape with Haunting Wave.
8
Kerrigan Aside from having high melee dps and shield gain, Kerrigan can jump on you AND stun you. No fun.
9
Illidan The only reason Illidan isn't as threatening is that you can see him coming. Except when he takes The Hunt of course.
10
Nova Nova will make your life a living hell. Try to stay as close to your team as possible if the other team has a Nova.
10
Zeratul Same idea as Nova, but melee. If this guy takes Shadow Assault, you'll never survive an attack from him.

Hey everyone, long time Heroes player here to help you guys with a great Sylvanas guide for Solo Queueing!

What is this build good at doing?

Sylvanas is a specialist who can either go a siege focused build or an assassin style build. Unfortunately, in solo queue, you can't always rely on teammates to be there to heal you, secure a kill with you, etc. What this build lets you do is survive the early game with defensive talents, while not sacrificing any of her damage potential in the early game, as she does have some trouble securing kills on her own without select talents. I do not believe a siege focused build is as good for solo queue since many of your teammates will take camps on their own anyway and Sylvanas can still take camps decently without those talents.

TL;DR

This is not a build designed for competitive, team-oriented play. This build will help you survive and do great damage in solo-queue without having to rely on teammates as much.

Level 1

At level 1, we will be grabbing With the Wind. This talent synergizes amazingly with a talent we will be picking up later, and also allows you to poke heroes in lane more effectively. Keeping a good distance between you and enemy heroes early game is crucial due to your small health pool.

Level 4

This is when Sylvanas can start securing kills on her own. Most heroes in your lane will assume by now they can easily 1v1 you, and will be in for a nasty surprise when they dive deep to try and kill you.

Level 7

It becomes almost impossible to force you out of a lane once you grab Life Drain. Tossing a dagger into a minion wave will heal you for roughly 30% of your maximum health, which I find is insanely helpful when trying to secure the shrines on Dragon Shire especially. This talent gives you the sustain that you desperately need in solo queue.

Level 10

As excited as I was for the Possession ultimate, Wailing Arrow just turned out to be so much more better. With the utility to silence healers, catch fleeing heroes and in general just do a lot of damage, you will take this ultimate over the other 99% of the time .

Level 13

Sylvanas gets a huge power boost at 13 with Evasive Fire. This talent allows her to chase after and escape from most heroes, increasing both her survivability and deadliness. Synergizes great with With the Wind and the next ability we'll be picking up.

Level 16

Blood for Blood is another amazing ability on Sylvanas; due to her low health pool, using this on a tank at the right time can give you a heal for more than 50% of your max health, while also damaging and slowing them. Also synergizes well with Evasive Fire, allowing you to quickly catch up to any hero. Use with Envenom for a huge damage burst!

Level 20

If the enemy team is focusing you frequently, and you don't feel comfortable (or safe) using your Haunting Wave to escape, then always pick Bolt of the Storm. However, if your team is in a good spot, and you are winning most teamfights without being focused too much, then I would take Fury of the Storm. I personally love the damage boost you get from it, and it it allows you to clear bruiser camps and minion waves quite fast in the late game.
