Reaper (Completed)

The Deathless

Reaper is a Melee / Medium ranged assassin whom specializes in taking down high HP targets while holding many ways to rapidly engage or disengage from combat - this allows him to be more aggressive than most other heroes without getting too punished for it: yet poor planing and timing of abilities will leave him in a bad position.

Much of Reapers road to success comes down a good approach which allows auto attacks to be landed while managing your primary ability (Q) together with the engage / disengage abilities (W) and (E)

Baste stats:


- Base Health: 2337 (+4 %)
- Health regen: 3.87 (+4 %)


- Energy: 500
- Energy regen: 3


- Speed: 4.39

Basic attack:


Reapers basic attack has a quirk too it: the closer he is to the target - the more damage he will deal.

- Base damage:
- (Range 4) 45.
- (Range 3) 90.
- (Range 2) 135.
- (Range 1) 180.
(+4 %)
- Attack speed: 2
- Attack range: 4

Combat Trait

D - The Reaping
Passive: Reaper can consume the soul of nearby fallen hostile units to heal.

- Hero souls heals for 400 HP.
- Mercenary Boss souls heals for 750 HP.
- Mercenary souls heals for 200 HP.
- Minion souls heals for 50 HP.
The amount healed is increased by 4% per level.

Reaper does not need to land the killing blow for a soul to spawn - He just need's to be nearby when said unit dies. The souls are automatically consumed when reaper comes close enough.

Primary Abilities

Q - Hellfire Brand
Activate: Once active - Reaper's next 10 Basic attacks will come with bonus effects depending on what type of hero he attacks and for how many successive of the 10 auto attacks he lands at the same / different heroes.

3 Attacks will stun the target for 1.25 seconds.
6 Attacks will reap a fragment of the soul from the target, allowing Reaper to consume it for healing.
9-10 Attacks will cause the two last shots to deal 5% of the targets maximum HP as damage.

If Reaper switches targets at any point during Hellfire Brand - The effects of the attacks will start at 1 again.

Attacks against Warrior Heroes will deal 3% of their maximum health as damage.
Attacks against Assassin Heroes will reduce all damage they deal by 10% for 2 Seconds.
Attacks against Support Heroes will reduce all healing they do by 10% for 2 seconds.
Attacks against Specialist Heroes will slow their attack and movement speed by 10% for 2 seconds.

Mana cost: 45.
Cooldown: 14 Seconds. Cooldown starts once the 10th shot has landed.

W - Wraith Form
Cleanses Reaper from any form of crowd controlling effects and increases his movement speed by 100% for 3 seconds - during this time, Reaper can not attack and can not take damage.

Mana cost: 35.
Cooldown: 10 Seconds. Cooldown starts after Reaper exits Wraith Form.

E - Shadowstep
After a 1.5 second cast Reaper will teleport to the targeted area. Shadowstep can go past terrain and if Reapers Shadowstep-path takes him past Souls or health globes - he will consume them. It takes 1.5 seconds for Reaper to exit Shadowstep when he reaches the chosen destination.

Mana cost: 40.
Cooldown: 12 Seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Death Blossom
Rapidly attack nearby visible enemies for 200 (+ 4% per level) damage per hit. Minions and Mercenaries (Not Bosses) will instantly die if taking damage. Lasts for 3 seconds and damage is dealt each 0.33 second.

Death Blossom will passively benefit from (Q) - Hellfire Brand apart from that it only triggers the Hero Role specific functions.

Mana: 95.
Cooldown: 90 Seconds.

R - Shade of Demise
Enter a 6 second empowered version of Wraith Form. While in this form Reaper gains a 200% movement speed bonus, can take no damage and can not use any abilities but he will deal damage to the closest enemy hero each 0.5 seconds while silencing them. For each 1.5 consecutive second Reaper deals damage in this form he will absorb a Soul and deal damage equal to 7% of the targets total maximum health.

Mana: 90.
Cooldown: 100 Seconds.

Talents

Level 1


- Up in smoke: Wraith Form now turns Reaper completely invisible for it's duration.

- Dying Determination: For the 1.5 seconds it takes for Reaper to cast and exit Shadowstep - He can no longer take any damage.

- Eternal Hunger: Quest: Gathering Health globes increases the amount of healing from Souls by 0.25% per health globe. Reward: Once you have gathered 40 health globes, Souls will heal for an extra 5%.

- Absorb Vitality: Activate - Instantly kill all nearby hostile minions.

Level 4


- Bigger is Better: Hellfire Brand's Role Targeting now only affects Warriors but the damage bonus is now equal to 5% of their total health.

- Support Suppression: Hellfire Brand's Role Targeting now only affects Supports but the healing reduction is increased by 10%.

- Assessing the Threat: Hellfire Bran's Role Targeting now only affects Assassins and Specialists but the Damage Reduction and Attack Speed / Movement Speed slow is increased by 5%

- Talon Practice: Hero takedowns will halfen the remaining cooldown on all basic abilities by 50% and ultimates by 15%.

Level 7


- The extra mile: Doubles the maximum distance of Shadowstep.

- Trail of Death: The path between your start and ending location of your most recent Shadowstep will leave a path of black smoke behind which will give sight around the smoke for your team and slow the movement speed of anything hostile which comes into contact with the smoke by 20% for 1 second. The smoke trail will be consumed where enemies pass trough it.

- Iron Will: If both Shadowstep and Wraith Form is on cooldown, you will gain 20 Armor for the remaining time.

Level 10 (R) - Ultimates


- Death Blossom.

- Shade of Demise.


Level 13


- Leeching Rounds: Each attack trigger of Hellfire Brand will heal you for 3% of your total health.

- Graveyard Guardian: Halfen down your respawn time.

- Aura of Despair: Wraith Form will slow nearby enemies movement speed by 50% for 0.75 seconds.

Level 16


- Rapid Relocation: Reduce the time for you to cast and exit Shadowstep with 1 second.

- Brand of the Reaper: Hellfire Brand now triggers it's first attack function at 2 attacks and it's second at 4 attacks, it also adds a trigger at 6 attacks which will increase Reapers movement speed by 20% for 1.5 seconds - yet the 9th and 10th attack now deal 3.5% of the targets maximum health as damage.

- Stored Misery: Activate to spawn 5 Hero Souls. 45 Second Cooldown.

Level 20


- Death's Dance: Death Blossom now deal damage each 0.25 seconds, lasts for 4 seconds and will also trigger Hellfire Brand's untalented Role specific effects.

- Eternal Unrest: You can now remain within Shade of Demise form permanently but the movement speed bonus is removed and your movement speed is slowed by 10%.

Grenade Launcher: Launch 2 Grenades toward the targeted location. These 2 grenades deals massive damage and will explode when coming into contact with anything hostile or after a short period of time.

Execute: Instantly kill a Mercenary boss or hostile player controlled boss unit of any type. 300 Seconds cooldown.

Punishment: When a enemy hero dies - You will add 0.2 seconds to their spawn timer for each % of total damage you dealt to them before death.

Skin Suggestions

Basic Skin:

Tint 1: Black
Tint 2: Red
Tint 3: White

As for his Master Skin - I don't really have anything specific to come up with other than that I'd want for Reaper to look more. "Edgy"

A Purchase skin could be one of his Legendary Overwatch Skins as I really love this one:

Tint 1: Blanco
Tint 2: Matiachi
Tint 3: No link for this yet I was thinking of adding a yellow toned version.

Thanks - And well I am simply adding and updating, but if it is to so much of a bother then sure - I can slow it down and keep updated to a minimum.
