Yogg-Saron (Completed)

The God of Death

Yogg-Saron - The God of Death is a specialist / semi-support whom draws resemblance to Abathur with that you don't physically enter combat as Yogg-Saron but will rather focus on pushing lanes, buffing your allies and spawning minions from the Nightmare which will assist on the field of battle.

Yogg-Saron unlike Abathur is completely immovable - as in: he can not walk around by any means and is a stationary unit: yet your Mount (Z) ability allows you to move around and you'r Trait (D) will help you to stay alive while your Mount ability is on cooldown.

In order to make Yogg-Saron feel alive as a hero in terms of that he can't move around and is little seen while in battle: his spawned minions and units will be themed by any skin he switches between and he will have active voice lines that he whispers randomly as the battle goes on to cover that looming presence of the God of Death being present on the battlefield.

Yogg-Saron also stands out with that his HP pool is rather large despite that he works as a immovable Specialist - this is to give a perk to the fact that he can't move but also as a remark on that the God of Death will not die with ease.

Basic Attack


Yogg-Saron can only basic attack when in melee range, and his attack is simply him using his jaw to bite at a local target.

Base damage: 52 (+4 %)
Attack speed: 1.22
Attack range: 1

Combat Trait

D - Presence of Nightmares
Activate: Spawn 2 Tentacles of Corruption close to enemy minions. The Tentacles will deal damage as long as enemy minions are nearby and they will remain where they are spawned for 30 seconds or until killed.

- If a Tentacle of Corruption lands 4 killing blows to enemy minions before they de-spawn: the tentacle will be upgraded to a Tentacle of Madness.

Tentacles of Madness deals more damage, does area damage when it attacks and lasts for 300 seconds or until killed.

Passive: Yogg-Saron's presence inflicts the minds of those who comes too close to him - Enemy heroes that looks in Yogg-Sarons direction when close enough and having sight on him will start to hear his maddening whispers and will slowly turn insane.

Looking directly at Yogg-Saron for more than 3 seconds will cause the enemy hero to go insane and become mind-controlled for 6 seconds, making them move away from Yogg-Saron while attacking allied units in sight.

- While Mind Controlled, allied heroes of the mind controlled one can attack him / her to break 0.25 second off from the mind control per basic attack landed, yet the mind controlled hero can also die from his allies while in this state.

Yogg-Saron will have a harder time to deal out his maddening whispers the more heroes that comes up to him, for each additional hero that faces Yogg-Saron it will take him 1.5 seconds more per hero to mind control them: effectively making it take 9 seconds for him to mind control 5 heroes at once should they all approach him.

Primary Abilities

Q - Orb of Madness
Spawn a Orb of Madness above the selected Structure, Minion or Hero - this can be used on both Allied and Hostile units.

The Orb will start to fire a Death Ray toward the closest hostile unit it can find, the ray will deal damage for each 0.5 second it remains in contact with the hostile unit and the Ray gains movement speed as time passes.

The Orb Lasts for 8 seconds and if it's placed on a hostile unit and that unit dies or is destroyed - the Orb will immediately relocate to the closest unit it can find.

Cooldown: 12 seconds.

W - Psychotic Blast
Blast the selected area which will deal moderate damage to anyone hit. Should the Blast hit a hostile structure or unit - it will leave a Pool of Madness at it's impact location for 6 seconds.

Pool of Madness will deal damage for each 0.5 second anything remains within it, it will slow minions by 50%, enemy heroes by 25% and it will remove 1 ammunition per second.

Cooldown: 8 Seconds.

E - Spawn: Crusher Tentacle
Spawns a Crusher Tentacle at the targeted location - Yogg-Saron does not need vision to spawn this tentacle.

The Crusher Tentacle lasts permanently and will use 3 abilities while alive:

- Crush: Slams the ground around a local hostile unit, dealing hard damage to the main target and splash damage to anyone close to the main target.

- Flail: The tentacle does a sweep attack and will damage and knock away nearby enemy units.

- Squeeze: Stuns a local target for 1.5 seconds by picking them up, when the stun ends - the target is thrown away from the tentacle.

Orb of Madness can be placed on the crusher tentacle.

The tentacle can separate friend from foe, allies can pass trough the tentacle but hostile units will crash into it.

Cooldown: 10 seconds.
Max 3 Crusher Tentacles can be active at one time. Using this ability a 4'th time when 3 tentacles is up will cause the first one to vanish.

1 - Brain Link
Allows Yogg-Saron to Brain Link two targets together, the effect of the brain link will change pending on how it's used.

Yogg-Saron to Allied unit: Empowers the allied unit, making them deal 25% more damage, attack 25% faster and will cause hostile units they hit with basic attack to be slowed by 15% for 1 second.

Yogg-Saron to Hostile unit: Causes the hostile unit to be affected by Yogg-Saron's Presence of Nightmares for each second the link remains active.

Allied to Allied unit: Chains the two allied units together, making all damage they take while linked to be reduced by 25% and to be shared between the two.

Allied to Hostile unit: 35% of all damage taken by the allied unit will be dealt the hostile one instead.

Hostile to Hostile unit: Increases all damage the two targets take by 15% and increases the cooldown on their abilities by 25%

The link lasts until Yogg-Saron cancels it or it can be broken if the two linked targets moves too far away from each other.

Cooldown: 3 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

R - Summon: Faceless Destroyer
Yogg-Saron will call out a Faceless Destroyer which will spawn from the shadows at the God of Death's command.

The Faceless Destroyer is permanent and must be killed to be stopped.

The Faceless Destroyer carries the presence of Yogg-Saron, allowing Yogg-Saron to use Brain Link with it - which where the Faceless Destroyer will count as Yogg-Saron.

Orb of Madness can be spawned on the Faceless Destroyer.

While the Faceless Destroyer is active, Yogg-Saron can select what target he wants for it to attack but the Destroyer himself will cast 2 abilities when alive.

- Smash: Smashes the ground around the Faceless Destroyer, dealing hard area damage, instantly killing any minions or mercenaries (Not bosses) caught in the smash.

- Mark of Madness: Marks a random enemy hero with a Mark of Madness which will trigger after 3 seconds - making the enemy hero run around in fear for 2 seconds. While this fear is active - the hero will take 50% increased damage.

The Faceless Destroyer will deal bonus damage to structures.

Cooldown: 120 seconds. Cooldown starts when the Faceless Destroyer is killed.

R - Invoke Avatar: Sara
Yogg-Saron will disappear and in his place: his avatar - Sara will emerge and join the field of battle.

Sara hold 3 new abilities and lasts until she is killed. When killed: She will vanish and Yogg-Saron will return at the location he stood when he first transformed into Sara.

Sara is a winged white Val'Kyr - can not use any mount and deals twice of Yogg-Saron's basic attack damage with 1 second faster attack speed and 1 point more in attack range.

Q - Sara's Fervor: Buff a allied hero, making them deal 25% more damage for 5 seconds. (10 Seconds cooldown)

W - Sara's Blessing: Heal a friendly unit for 15% of their total HP. Can also be used to repair structures and the Core. (8 Seconds cooldown)

E - Shadow Spear: Throw a Shadow Spear to the targeted location which will deal damage upon impact and spawns a Pool of Madness (8 Seconds cooldown)

R - Return to Body: Leave the Avatar and return to your regular body.

D - Presence of Death: Each 3 second, Sara will emit a wave of madness that will affect allied and hostile units.

- Allied units will gain 10% attack speed and damage for 1.5 seconds.

- Hostile units will lose 10% attack speed and damage for 1.5 seconds.

Only Allied or Hostile units can be affected and which one that is affected is decided by the highest number of units that is within her range. Should the number be equal: Hostile units will be affected.

Cooldown: 90 seconds. (Starts when Sara dies)

Special Mount

Z - Relocation
Submerge into the ground after a 2 second cast and emerge at the targeted location.

You do not need to have vision of the area you wish to relocate to.

Cooldown: 30 seconds.

Talents

Level 1


- Replenishing Link: Brain Link will regenerate health and mana per second whenever it is used between 2 Allied heroes.

- Maddening Link: Brain Link will deal minor damage each 1 seconds whenever it is used between 2 Hostile heroes.

- Empowering Link: Brain Link will make allied minions and mercenaries deal more damage and cause hostile minions and mercenaries to take more damage.

Level 4


- Pool of Shadows: The Pool of Madness now lasts for half it's duration but functions twice as good over it's new lifespan.

- Surging Darkness: Pool of Madness will grant 25% more damage to any form of Tentacle should they be within the pools range.

- Split Death: Orb of Madness now creates 2 beams but it only lasts for 4 seconds.

- Burrow: Crusher Tentacles can now move around each 10'th second with a limited range and will always move closer to anything hostile.

Level 7


- Crazed Aura: Crusher Tentacles will pulse for damage around them each 2 seconds.

- Leeching Aura: Crusher Tentacles will drain their own health each 2 second and divide it out among local allied targets.

- Evolution: Tentacles of Corruption now only needs to kill 3 hostile minions to turn into Tentacles of Madness.

- Tentacle Wrap (Activate): Wrap tentacles around the selected structure, the structure will now be healed every 1 second and will take 25% less damage. The tentacles will be destroyed if the structure they are wrapped around takes too much damage. (30 second cooldown)

Level 10 (Ultimates - R)


- Invoke Avatar: Sara.

- Summon: Faceless Destroyer.

Level 13


- Echoes of Madness: Presence of Nightmares now only needs 3 seconds regardless of how many heroes that approaches to mind control them.

- Tripple Chaos: Presence of Nightmares now spawns 3 Tentacles of Corruption.

- Mind Orb: Orb of Madness now causes your Crusher Tentacle to attack faster and deal more damage.

- Expanded potential: Psychotic Blast has a wider area of effect.

Level 16


- Shielding Core: Orb of Madness now generates a shield each 2 seconds it's active on a allied unit.

- Seeping Life: Orb of Madness now deals damage each 2 seconds it's active on a hostile unit.

- Insanity Nova: Psychotic Blast deals more damage the closer to the center hostile units are.

- Reinforcing Slime: Crusher Tentacles has more HP and takes 15% reduced damage from all sources.

Level 20


- Take Wing: Invoke Avatar: Sara - now has a mount ability that let's her take of with her wings and fly to a chosen location. (45 Second cooldown)

- Frenzy: When dropping bellow 25% HP - the Faceless Destroyer will deal 50% more damage and take 50% more damage.

- Roar of Insanity: Instantly invoke the full effect of Presence of Madness's mind control effect on all nearby enemy heroes. (20 second cooldown)

- Madness will Consume you: A shroud of madness covers the entire battlefield for 10 seconds, boosting all of Yogg-Sarons active Tentacles and his allied minions with a 50% damage boost while giving all enemy minions a 50% reduced damage effect. After the 10 seconds ends, all affected minions will go berserk and will now attack anything and anyone.

- Call of the Monster: Relocate all active Crusher Tentacles to a selected area.

SKIN SUGGESTIONS

I honestly got nothing to jab at here, all I would like to emphasize is that any skin will also alter Yogg-Sarons Tentacles, Faceless Destroyer and his Sara Avatar appearance.
