Evolution Master (Talent Rework)

KEEP in mind that this talent rework is my first one, so mistakes can be done here. Also, you'll see some minor tweaks to Aba's kit like reduced CD of Toxic Nest and Stab. ;)

Combat Trait

1
Locust Swarm
Spawns a Locust to attack down the nearest lane every 15 seconds. Locusts last for 25 seconds.

Primary Abilities

Symbiote
Assist another allied Unit or Combat Structure, allowing you to shield them and use new Abilities. Cannot be used on another Hero's Summons. (4 CD)

Toxic Nest
Spawn a mine that becomes active after a short time. Deals 159.12 (+4% per level) damage and reveals the enemy for 4 seconds. Lasts 90 seconds. (9 CD)

Secondary Abilities

Stab
Shoots a spike towards target area that deals 117.52 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy it contacts.

Spike Burst
Deals 115.44 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies. (6 CD)

Carapace
Shields the assisted ally for 160 (+4% per level). Lasts for 8 seconds. (12 CD)

Toxic Nest (Symbiote)
Avaliable ONLY after completing "Zerg's Bane" Quest

Spawn a mine that becomes active after a short time. Deals 159.12 (+4% per level) damage and reveals the enemy for 4 seconds. Lasts 90 seconds. (9 CD)

Heroic Abilities

Ultimate Evolution
Clone target allied Hero and control it for 20 seconds. Abathur has perfected the clone, granting it 20% Ability Power, 20% bonus Attack Damage, and 10% bonus Movement Speed. Cannot use their Heroic Ability. (50 CD)

Evolve Monstrosity
Turn an allied Minion or Locust into a Monstrosity. When enemy Minions near the Monstrosity die, it gains 5% Health and 5% Basic Attack damage, stacking up to 40 times. The Monstrosity takes 0% less damage from non-Heroic enemies.

Using Symbiote on the Monstrosity allows you to control it, in addition to Symbiote's normal benefits. This Ability can be reactivated to automatically cast Symbiote on your Monstrosity. (90 CD)

Special Mount

Deep Tunnel
Quickly tunnel to a visible location. (30 CD)

Talents

Level 1

Pressurized Glands - Increases the range of Symbiote's Spike Burst by 25% and reduces its CD by 25%.

Regenerative Microbes - Symbiote's Carapace heals the target for 4% of its maximum HP per second for 4 seconds. Reduces the CD by 2 seconds.

Zerg's Bane - Quest: Whenever a Toxic Nest hits the enemy hero, its damage is increased by 10, up to 100. Reward: After hitting 10 heroes with Toxic Nests, their damage is increased by 50%, and you can now spawn them during Symbiote.

Level 4

Brood Swarm - Increases the Health and duration of Locusts by 20%. Reduces the CD for spawning next Locusts by 2 seconds.

Sustained Carapace - Increases the shield amount of Symbiote's Carapace by 40% and allows it to persist after Symbiote ends.

Adrenal Overload - Symbiote host gains 25% increased Attack Speed.

Level 7

Putrid Nest - Reduces the CD of Toxic Nest by 30% and now slows enemies that step on them by 20% for 2 seconds.

Impure Stab - As long as you have all charges of Stab, you cast all of them in one direction. Stab now also slows enemies by 20% for 2 seconds.

Networked Carapace - Using Symbiote's Carapace also applies an untalented Carpace's shield to all nearby ally heroes, monsters and mercenaries.

Level 10

Level 13

Bombard Strain - Locust's Basic Attacks become a long-range siege attack that deals 70% more damage.

Assault Strain - Locust's Basic Attacks have 40% increased Attack Speed and cleave for 50% damage.

Volatile Dose - Symbiote host deals 23.92 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies.

Level 16

Soma Transference - Symbiote's Spike Burst now slows enemies by 30% for 2 seconds and heals the assisted ally by 3.5% of the ally's maximum Health per enemy Hero hit.

Weakening Spikes - Increases the damage and range of Symbiote's Stab by 25%. Reduces the CD by 0,75 seconds.

Hostile Toxins - Toxic Nest now becomes active immediately. Increases the revealing duration by 50%.

Level 20

Evolutionary Link - The bonuses that apply to Ultimate Evolution clone now also apply to the original target. Increases the value of bonuses by 5%.

Adaptation Mastery - Increases the bonuses provided by each killed nearby enemy Minion by 5%. Now takes 20% less damage from Heroic sources.

Paralyzing Graft - Symbiote host's basic attacks deal 20% more damage and slow their targets by 20% for a second.
Locust Nest - Activate to create a nest that periodically spwans a Locust. Only two Locust Nests can be active at once. (60 CD, has 2 charges)

Changes

2017-01-20


Hivemind is replaced with Paralyzing Graft.
Locust Nest now has 2 charges. Cooldown increased to 60 seconds.

Actually its a nerf. Because Locust Brood is really important for abathur and this new Hivemind is such a nerf, because the player affected by symbiote don't want to waste their fingers casting that abilities. The "old" Hivemind is better and Locust Brood should be implemended

About Locust Brood, I realise it's very good thanks to one of Pally's videos, but I will not add it. I might instead buff Locust Nest to spawn 2 Locusts at once. Of course, I will double the CD then.

About Hivemind, my original idea for the "new" one was to make player cast them with freedom and much more power than "old" Hivemind, bevause my version gives these abilities as they were yours. So they ALL are talented.

But if it's weak in your opinion, I might swap it with Volatile Mutation, with buffing the overall AoE damage and also CDR for your Heroic abilities, around 25% or so. Th eventual option will be applying Nexus Blades to Symbiote host/
