Adria

Blood Demon Witch of Corvus

Adria is one of the most controversial villains within the Diablo universe as she unfortunately turned onto the "dark side" while helping her daughter to contain the Black Soulstone's powers sealed and safe from Diablo's reach. Alas, her daughter (and herself afterwards) were overwhelmed by the power they couldn't contain so she became the Blood Demon of Corvus spreading the influence of the blood/demonic magic whilest her daughter ended up becomming the Prime Evil reincarnation in D3

Concept is revolved around her being able to "playing around" with transfer/syphon of blood from one target to another using herself as a "medium" to do it, as well as being able to "play around" with ability power of her opponents and herself based on their current % of HP

This should be one of the rather rare concepts of a truely evil "support" in the offering, so hope this "tingles" your interest as well as make you enjoy the read in as much as an exciting fashion as much as I enjoyed the "designing"

Combat Trait

Demonic Blood
Unlike most of the other heroes in the game, Adria has the ability to gain HP higher than her max HP threshold temporarily (up to double the amount of her max HP, seemingly to have her "stabilization" rate at 50% of her actual but not stable max amount of HP).

Her regeneration rate of HP is also "tied" to the same mechanic of being able to get excess amount of HP (temporarily) as well as have a higher regen rate the lower her HP. The more the missing % HP the higher the regen per second, and the higher the excess of HP the faster the decay

[Rate of regen/decay is 2.5% of the current amount of missing/excess of "max" i.e. stable amount of 50% total max HP]

[Usage = this is doing 2 things basically, 1st is that the lower HP amount higher the regen gives her a seeming decent sustain to "dive" in fights making her an assassin with the assassin ult, and the ability for her to "unstabily" double temporarily her HP is giving her more possibilities to "syphon own reserves" to support/heal allies and combined with the "support" heroic may become a decent support in the game]

Primary Abilities

Demonic smite
Adria can use one of her 3-legged-wings and smite an area in front of her and do some AoE on the ground, but also keep the wing in position down on the ground for additional strategic path-coverage to prevent an opponent escape or protection of a nearby ally from a certain hit. Due to complexity/precision needs I decided this ability should be able to be with 2 hotkeys = one for using the left "wing" and the other for using it from the "right" wing.

[CD = 8 seconds, manacost = 50, damage on placing = 141 + 4%/level, using D/F keys instead of the standard W key]

[Usage = use the D/F keys to "smite" the ground dealing damage for primary source of waveclear and place one of the rather long demonic 3-legged wings of Adria as an unpassable terrain temporarily of hers to either protect/peel for your allies or prevent an opponent from escaping, or just use the very basic initial slam/hit to deal damage to it regardless of caring for the positioning]

Demonic Seal
Adria places a demonic seal on the ground that alters the ability power based on % of missing HP either to empower herself or weaken opponents standing on it. Her ability power increases with the more HP she's missing, and opponents standing on the demonic seal lose ability power with missing HP % (at half the gain/rate)

[CD = 12, Mana cost = 30, 6 cast range, Duration = 3 sec, Adria gain = 3% for every 5% HP missing, opponent loss = 3% for every 10% HP missing]

[Usage = use this to temporarily empower your other basic or R1 heroic abilities or hinder opponents based on the current % of HP on either you or opponents standing on it]

Blood Ritual
Adria syphons Life from an enemy giving her HP or she syphons life out of her demonic body (reccomendably excess/reserves of HP), giving it to allies at double the gain/rate.

[Life Transfer rate = 44+4%/level/tick, CD = 5 seconds, Mana cost = 12/sec, 2 ticks/second]

[Usage = this should be the very main self-sustain as well as team-sustain ability, that Adria should use rather frequently in order to gain some "leverage" over the opponents or give greater sustain toward her allies. Remember that you can use the Demonic Seal in combination to multiply this ability by a good % amount therefore having allies healed even more when you're low on HP, the high regen rate on low amount of HP should give you some "leeway" to continue doing it quite a bit but be careful to not overuse the ability cause the mana cost per second is the limit]

Heroic Abilities

Demonic seeds
Adria has the ability to launch demonic worm-seeds (worm look-alike) at a location nearby. These worms deal almost no damage to opponents (half of Adria's current basic attack damage) per hit, BUT these can be triggered by nearby movement or targetted and killed to leave a rather devastating splash of blood stain on the ground that persists for quite a while and do a stackable "stat stealing" (i.e. syphoning) of BOTH HP and ability power toward Adria from the victim(s).

Each "tick" of an opponent standing of this kind of blood terrain causes them to gradually lose HP (the more opponents stand on the blood stains or the more stains on one opponent = bonus is multiplied and transfered back to Adria rendering her more powerful and with greater sustain)

[CD = 10, has 5 charges, each splatter persists for 5 seconds before vanishing, 2 ticks per second but these are stackable, rendering either her hit a single target with multiple blood-splats, or multiple opponent heroes being simultaneously hit giving Adria nearly the same benefit]

[Usage = Set the battlefield to attack and devastate your victim(s), the possibilities are quite big and so is the target choosing = have up to 5 charges of these]

[ROLE = Melee assassin]

Sacrificial orifice
Activate to "sacrifice" an ally or an opponent (for half the duration) to the Demonic Gods's worshiping ritual making the victim immobile/silenced but "protected" from taking "awaken damage" for a short amount of time by being tied to a demonic pillar of sacrifice. During this time the other allies can attack the "sacrificial body" and feed from it granting them a very high amount of lifestealing per hit.

The victim doesn't take damage during the ritual phase but loses 50% of the total amount of HP suffered after a 5 second delay. While this delayed "loss of blood" can be quite damaging, the "reawakening" effect isn't lethal and renders the victim survive on 1HP


[CD = 100, mana cost = 80, lifesteal = 140% basic attack rate]


[Usage = whilest your main/basic abilities may not provide enough effective support within the game (although ALL of them should help the cause), this ability itself is a no-brainer one of the most impactful potentially within the game. Not only you get a "crystal aegis" to render an ally (or even an opponent in stasis) temporarily unhindered (or opponent delay-damaged), but ALSO the rest of your allies during a fight can become a "bunch of vampires lookalike" feeding from the flesh of an blood-orifice sacrificed victim temporarily having the option for an additional greater self-sustain]

[ROLE = Support]

Talents

Lvl1:

[Quest, D] : Nutrified : (!) Gathering regeneration globes increase the rate of stability of % of Max HP of Adria for 0.5% for each Globe up to 60%. (!) After gathering 20 globes gain additional 800 HP

[D] : Blood overflow : Draining rate Ritual and healing rate of Blood Ritual are increased by 25% when Adria is above her threshold of 50% max HP (but decay rate stays the same)

[W] : Demonic Embrace : Increase the radius of Demonic circle by 30%

Lvl4:

[Quest, Q] : Enstrengthening grasp : Killing minions empowers the damage of Demonic smite by 1. After killing 50 minions with the Demonic smite ability gain additional 25% cast range and 400% additional damage to non-heroic

[W] : Hell awakens : Damaging nearby units with any other of Adria's abilities transfer 50% of the portion of damage dealt to targets standing over the Demonic Circle

[Quest, E] : Clean circulation : (!) Killing opponent heroes while under the effect of Blood Ritual empowers the damage of Blood ritual by 3 damage per second (!) after getting 15 damage per second bonus increase cast range reduce mana cost by 50%

Lvl7:

[Q] : Earthening blood : Keeping Demonic smite wings on the ground gains Adria 50 physical armor while keeping it on the ground until lifting

[W] : Seal of advantage : Demonic circle slows opponents by 25% while on it and additionally Adria's self-heal rate is increased by 30%

[E] : Nanocells : While channeling Blood Ritual Adria gets an increasing 4 armor per second up to 40, when finished channeling gain 4 charges of the amount of the amount of armor complete at the moment of stop of channeling

Lvl13:

[Q] : Leapfrog : Reduces CD of Demonic Smite by 4 sec and additional 1 second per hero hit for next usage

[Active, CD = 60] : A demonic pact : Activate to switch your percentages of HP and mana in order to gain mana or gain immediately needed extra HP for the cost of mana-sacrificing

[W] : Empowering : When standing on them, Demonic Circle now also increases ability power on allies by 25%

Lvl16:

[W] : Teledemonics : Adria can now use Demonic Smite from a further away rending her dash a small distance before doing it

[E] : Giant Syphon : Blood Ritual when casted on opponents now also sucks 2% of their max HP per tick for the first 2.5 seconds

[D] : Demonic Gains : HP regen rate is increased by 50% but this effect doesn't proc if Adria has less than 10% Max HP

Lvl20:

[Passive, D] : Demonic alchemy : Ability power bonuses of Adria either to herself or her allies also increase the basic attack damage of heroes affected

[R1] : Bloodhunter : Increase the radius and duration of demonic seeds's blood stains by 50% and gain 25% armor while standing on them

[R2] : A sacrifical tomb : The target sacrificed now can be kept on the orifice stasis for as long as Adria wants (stop it earlier) or as long as she pleases as long as within the reach radius of 6 from the target kept in it

[W] : The full Circle : Demonic Seal can now be cast globally on the map and gains 2 charges
