Al'Akir

The Windlord

Al'Akir is one of the four elemental lords, the others being Ragnaros, Neptulon, and Therazane. Despite being the weakest of the four, Al'Akir is still a formidable opponent and is extremely agile. Al'Akir is one of the most mobile assasins out there, being able to use his mobility to stay clear of danger. However, this causes him to have to be extremely fragile and weak to cc.

Al'Akir calls the domain of Skywall his home, the center of the skies high above Uldum. With the Cataclysm, he chose to side with Deathwing and the Old Gods, similarly to Ragnaros. If he had not, he would have experienced the same fate of Neptulon, being attacked by Old God forces. Once heroes proved their worth to Al'Akir by slaying the Conclave of Wind, he fought them in a battle in the skies, bringing about his demise.

Strengths:

-Extremely mobile
-Hard to hit
-High damage
-Good at shutting down structures

Weaknesses:

-Very fragile
-Very susceptible to blindness
-Shut down easily by point and click CC

Primary Abilities

1
Like Swatting Insects
Cooldown: 6 seconds
Al'Akir slams his blade down on the nearest enemy, prioritizing enemy heroes, dealing 132 damage. Al'Akir gains +10% movement speed for 0.5 seconds upon this hitting an enemy hero. Like Swatting Insects has a range slightly larger than Al'Akir's attack range. Like Swatting Insects counts as an auto attack.

3
Help from skywall

Special Mount

1
Flowing Winds
Al'Akir, as the lord of the skies, does not need a mount to go quick. Al'Akir passively has 5% increased movement speed. This movement speed increase is increased to a 10% gain while Al'Akir is near a fort.

Hard Hitting Blades (Active)

Remove all movement speed increases from Al'Akir for 5 seconds. For every 5% movement speed removed this way, give Al'Akir 15 damage. Al'Akir's attacks increase the duration of this by a second, as well as reducing his movement speed by 5%. This movement speed reduction counts towards the damage increase.

Ragnaros Drools (Acive)

Cooldown: 200 seconds

Al'Akir channels an allied fort for 2 seconds to replace it with Al'Akir's ultimate form, having 3423 health that fades away over 16 seconds. level 20 talents

Lordship Has no Cooldown!

Shapeless Wind

Al'Akir stuns enemies at his landing location for 0.5 seconds. Additionally, he is invulnerable for 3 seconds after landing.

Too Many Insects and Not Enough Time

Reduce the cooldown of Like Swatting Insects! by 3 seconds.

All the Wind Elementals

Help From Skywall effects all enemy keeps and forts on the map.

weak against

Uther

Al'Akir gets completely shut down by Uther. Uther's long, targeted stuns make Al'Akir's job impossible. Uther's passive additionally makes it hard for Al'Akir to try to burst down enemies.

Lili

Al'Akir specializes in dealing damage through basic attacks. Lili's plethora of blindness tools causes him large issues.

Diablo

Diablo's Overpower and Shadow Charge, both targeted CC's on low cooldowns, would make Al'Akir getting near him a death sentence.

strong against

Anduin

Anduin does have CC. However, a good Al'Akir would be able to dodge that, leaving Anduin defenseless. Anduin's lack of escape tools and CC other than his root make him an easy target for Al'Akir.

Tracer

Tracer specializes in being able to kit opponents and weave in and out of combat. However, Al'Akir's speed allows him to keep up with Tracer and without her mobility, Tracer is pretty much a free kill.

Tassadar

Because of Al'Akir's ability to talent into being able to pass over Tassadar's wall, Al'Akir is able to leave Tassadar defenseless against his onslaught.

weak with

Ana

Ana will struggle extremely hard with being able to target Al'Akir with healing abilities because of his massive speed.

Alextrasza

Alextrasza will, similarly to Ana, struggle to target Al'Akir with her aimed heals.

Illidan

Illidan and Al'Akir both have a similar niche and having both of them on the same team could easily be countered and would cause the team to have too low consistent damage.

Since its global, I was thinking it could be nice to use it as an escape for people or to help your team catch people. I'll see what changes I could make to make it more interesting. Thanks for the feedback though!

I just want to add to this, Chromie has a lvl 18 talent (not 20 because of her passive) that does the same as Lord of the Skies. It has to be amped up massively if you want to keep it to the speed. It could be a decaying speed at a very high initial value that quickly slows down to a lower value that lasts for a longer duration.

"Blessing of the Bronze
Cooldown: 30 seconds
Activate to cause Chromie and all allied Heroes to gain 20% Movement Speed and their Basic Abilities recharge 35% faster for 8 seconds. Hitting an enemy Hero with Sand Blast from Chromie or her Echoes reduces the cooldown of Blessing of the Bronze by 1 second."

no problem mate. I think one cool idea for that ult would be to give the passive part of Power of the Winds
