Amon

The Fallen Xel'Naga

Amon, otherwise known as the Dark Voice, the Fallen One, the Dark One, the Dark God, the Eternal One, the Master, and Truth-bringer, was a malevolent xel'naga connected to the Void. He sought to break the "corrupt" cycle of the xel'naga and bring all life to an end, before remaking it in his image.

He has been described as "the universe's most ancient evil."

Combat Trait

Corrupt Cycle
Passive: Amon does not possess a physical form and instead manipulate's the battlefield to his advantage.
All friendly gates, towers, forts and keeps gain 10% health and damage.

Active: Amon unleashes a wave of corruption down a lane of combat, mind controlling the first 7 enemy minions that it touches, heals allied minions to full and increases their damage by 15% for 20 seconds. 90 second cooldown.

Primary Abilities

Ascend
Ascend the targeted ally into Hybrid. Increase their current health by 50% and damage by 20% for 10 seconds. Also grants 20 armor for the duration. Bonus health is lost upon expiration. 14 second cooldown.

Mind Control
Channel for 2 seconds to temporarily gain control of an enemy Hero for 3 seconds. During this time, they appear friendly to your team and are slowed by 60%. Mind controlled targets cannot use their ultimate. 24 second cooldown.

Terrazine Veil
Bring a large area closer to the void by filling the air with Terrazine. Enemies in this area will take 3% of their health in damage per second and be slowed by 10%. Lasts 10 seconds. 30 second cooldown.

(Size of area is roughly that of dva nuke)

Heroic Abilities

Hysteria
Causes all enemies in the target area to view all allies as hostile. Allies unaffected by this still consider them friendly. Lasts 6 seconds. 90 second cooldown.

(Size of area is roughly that of Anduin's Holy Word: Salvation)

Void Spawns
Instantly summon another wave a creeps from the void to push down all lanes. These void creeps have 50% increased damage but 25% reduced health. In addition, all friendly catapults and mercenaries are healed to full and gain 25% health and 75% damage. Lasts until death. 140 second cooldown.

Hi Cybrok,

one question: When enemies are mind controlled by Amon (ability 2), can they be damaged by their own team? I ask that, because you said "they appear friendly to your team", which COULD mean that they appear as an enemy to the enemy team.
Another question: Can Amon somehow get XP for the team?

I generally like the idea of him being a not-directly controllable hero. It fits the lore of SC2 where he seems to be this non-tangible force from the Void. The idea of possessed allied heroes by "ascend" is really cool! I would like to see a red glowing visual effect with this ability, that would be awesome - like when Amon possessed Rohana/Artanis/Selendis in the story of "Legacy of the Void"
