ANDARIEL

Maiden of Anguish

Andariel, the Maiden of Anguish, is the "twin" sister of Duriel. Sent to guard the Rogue Monastery by Diablo himself. Specializes in mid range poison attacks but ironically enough is weak against the element of fire. She is the only female member of the Seven and is the first to fall in the series. HOW IS AND COULD SHE BE CONSIDERING AS A WARRIOR:



For the "How is":
-She willingly "chose to help Diablo during his resurgence and seized the Citadel of the Sightless Eye" (quoted from http://diablo.wikia.com/wiki/Andariel)
-She was considered to be a close confidante of Diablo. This particular behavior fits more on how Warriors care about others well-being (even if it's for personal interest) rather than an urge to assassinate people.
-She corrupted more rogues than killing them, which it shows how much she can use people as tools before killing them if they are "useless maggots".
-She protected Diablo's host during his journey in the citadel of the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye. She could have killed it and reclaim the control of the Burning Hells. But she didn't.
-She has a sadistic personality (just go check the environment of the Citadel: there is TORTURE everywhere!). In opposition of Assassins in which their role is to deal as much dps as they can to eliminate a target, Andariel will take PLEASURE of your suffering. She prefer to take her time with you.
-She has so much lethal poison that it forced you to go back to Town for safety. This clever strategy could be used for this character playstyle and use it as a "tanking" sustaining mechanic.
-She believes in the purity of "emotions", unlike common assassins who cover their feelings and just "get the job done".

For the "How could":
-She could tank with her poison, in which it provides her some decent healing, and with more sustainable talents for each level tier.
-She may not seem to have many CCs (Crowd Control) for a Warrior role in her talent kit, but a new status in which it extend the duration of any debuff would be fairly enough helpful for your team and fairly deadly against your enemies.
-She has poor mobility, but the poison hurts enough to force enemies to retreat and to give you a sustainable healing.

Combat Trait

ANGUISH
Passive: Enemies hurting Andariel (with a basic attack or an ability) recieve the CARELESS/LINGERING Status, which it extend the duration of all incoming debuffs (stuns, roots, slows, silences, blinds, fears, vulnerabilities, polymorphs, healing reductions and Poisons/DOT) by 100% for 6 seconds. Can be triggered twice per 13 seconds.

Primary Abilities

"FEAR ME!"
Cooldown: 6 seconds. Your Basic Attacks deal 40% more damage against a CARELESS/LINGERED target for 3 seconds.

"DIE, MAGGOT!"
Cooldown: 9 seconds. Short range. You sting on a enemy who will receive 50% less healing for the next 4 seconds from any sources (self-heal, from allies and regen globes).

POISON SPRAY
Cooldown: 18 seconds. Medium range. You spray a surrounding poison cloud over your targets, dealing 616 damage over 13 seconds. Pierce through minions and structures.

Secondary Abilities

TOXIC SHIELD
Every 30 seconds, gain 75 Physical Armor against the next enemy Basic Attack and subsequent Basic Attacks for 1.5 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 75%, but you have 25% less Spell Armor for the duration of the shield ability. Can be toggled to allow or prevent this talent from triggering automatically.

TORTURE
Cooldown: 40 seconds. Activate it to ROOT a target for 2.5 seconds. Trapped enemy takes 198 (94 + 4% per level) damage per second.

ANDARIEL'S VISAGE
Cooldown: 50 seconds. Activate to deal 10% of target enemy Hero's Max Health over 4 seconds and heal for twice that amount.

Heroic Abilities

BOUND TO THE DEMON QUEEN
Force/corrupt an enemy Minion, Catapult or Mercenary to fight for you. 6 charges. 13 second charge cooldown.

VENOMOUS HEALING
Cooldown: 130 seconds. Change the target's (ally of foe) healing amount he recently recieved (within the last 12 seconds) as Damage Over Time effect.

TALENTS

LEVEL 1:


"FEAR ME MORE!": "FEAR ME!" also applies a 1 second FEAR on your next Basic Attack.
CONFIDENCES OF A RESTLESS MIND: ANGUISH can be triggered one more time.
STRENGTHENING TOXIN: POISON SPRAY also heals you for the same amount and duration.



LEVEL 4:


GARDIAN MAIDEN: extend the duration of ANGUISH on targets by 20%.
"IRON" MAIDEN: gain 75 Physical Armor when your trait ANGUISH is triggered. Cannot be stacked and it depletes over 4 seconds.
FAITHLESSNESS MAIDEN: ANGUISH also makes you immune to FEAR Once per 60 seconds.



LEVEL 7:


INTIMIDATING AURA: "FEAR ME!" reduces 25% of incoming damage for the next 3 seconds.
INFECTED NAILS: Passive: Your Basic Attacks poison their target, dealing 71 (34 + 4% per level) damage a second for 3 seconds.
Every additional application increases the duration by 3 seconds, up to a maximum of 9 seconds.

TORTUROUS AFFLICTION: "DIE, MAGGOT!" now nullifies any healing recieved by your target (so a 100% prevented).

LEVEL 10:


BOUND TO THE DEMON QUEEN: Force/corrupt an enemy Minion, Catapult or Mercenary to fight for you. 6 charges. 13 second charge cooldown.
VENOMOUS HEALING: Cooldown: 130 seconds. Change the target's (ally of foe) healing amount he recently recieved (within the last 6 seconds) as Damage Over Time effect.



LEVEL 13:


TORMENTING CHARM: (Quest) Successfully make 40 times an enemy hero CARELESS with ANGUISH. Reward: all incoming debuffs duration are increased by 200% for your enemies afflicted by CARELESS.
GRIEVOUS STING: (Quest) Prevent X healing of your enemies with "DIE, MAGGOT!". Reward: Turn 50% of that healing into Poison (DOT effect).
TOXIC SHIELD: Every 30 seconds, gain 75 Physical Armor against the next enemy Basic Attack and subsequent Basic Attacks for 1.5 seconds, reducing the damage taken by 75%, but you have 25% less Spell Armor for the duration of the shield ability. Can be toggled to allow or prevent this talent from triggering automatically.


LEVEL 16:


TORTURE: Cooldown: 40 seconds. Activate it to ROOT a target for 2.5 seconds. Trapped enemy takes 198 (94 + 4% per level) damage per second.
ANDARIEL'S VISAGE: Cooldown: 50 seconds. Activate to deal 10% of target enemy Hero's Max Health over 4 seconds and heal for twice that amount.
SUFFERING FOR EXCTASY: Passive: If an enemy hero is killed by a Damage Over Time (DOT ex: Poison) effect in your Vision range, reduce your cooldowns by 20% for 6 seconds.


LEVEL 20:


MISTRESS MANIPULATOR: Each 6 charges used from BOUND TO THE DEMON QUEEN gives you 5 Spell Armor, up to 30, which it reduces incoming Spell damage against you by 5% to 30%. Lose the stacks on death.

VENOMOUS TRANSFUSION: VENOMOUS HEALING also heals you with 75% of the Poison amount over 6 seconds and reduce its cooldown by 50%.
