Vengeance Demon Huntress

Asha is potentially an amazing solo-tank, with very strong single target shutdown, survivability, mobility, and uncharacteristically high damage. However, in order to earn that status, you need to use her trait with care and precision, as without it she's only a bruiser at best. The fact that Asha can't always engage at the best possible time, and that enemies can play around this, is her major weakness. But, if you keep her Pain high, weave around the battlefield, and are always PreparedTM to engage, you will be incredibly strong. Until you get good at her, draft her as you would Sonya or Artanis.

Combat Trait

Vengeance
Passive: Gain Pain by damaging enemies with abilities, and gain 5 pain every time you hit an enemy with a basic attack. Pain decays 5 per second when out of combat for more than 6 seconds.

Active: Surge with demonic flame. At full Pain, dash to a nearby target location and transform into a Demon. As a Demon, both your current and maximum health are increased by 50%, your basic attacks deal 50% more damage, and your abilities gain new effects. However, you lose 15 pain per second until you turn back. Requires maximum pain.

If you're at 1,000 / 3,000 HP when you cast this ability, you will have 1,500 / 4,500 HP afterwards. If you take 500 damage while transformed, you will have 666 / 3,000 HP afterwards.

Primary Abilities

Razor Spikes
Your next basic attack charges a short distance, deals 64+4% bonus damage, and snares the target for 1 second. For 6 seconds afterwards, you have 15 physical armor.

Vengeance: Razor Spikes affects all targets in a small area around the primary target.

Grants 15 Pain on impact.

CD: 6 seconds (Starts on impact)

Soul Cleave
Passive: Every 5th basic attack you make, and on every takedown, generate a soul shard from the target that flies a short distance away from you. Approaching a soul shard heals you for 5% of your max health and generates 10 pain. Consecutive attack chain resets if you don't attack for 3 seconds.

Active: Instantly deal 121+4% damage all enemies in a cone, and heal for 50% of the damage done. In addition, absorb all soul shards in a wide area around you.

Vengeance: Soul Shards heal for 150% as much and generates 5 additional pain.

CD: 14 seconds.

Chain of Vengeance
Mark a target in melee range. After 1 second, they are dragged to your location and take 81+4% damage. Generates 25 pain.

Vengeance: This ability now has +100% range and slows the target for 50% for 2 seconds.

CD: 14 seconds

Heroic Abilities

Demonic Rush
Passive: Vengeance has +100% range. On impact, deal 210+4% damage to nearby targets and stun them for 1.25 seconds.

Active: Slow a target by 90% for 0.5 seconds and dash to the opposite side of them. Deals 180+4% damage.

Vengeance: CD ticks down twice as fast.

CD: 30 seconds

Fel Wards
Gain 50 spell armor and heal for 30% of your max HP over 5 seconds

Vengeance: In addition, instantly gain 30 Pain.

CD: 50 seconds

Talents

Level 1:

Magical Spikes: Razor Spikes no longer grants physical armor, but instead grants 25 spell armor.

Demonic Mastery: Every regen globe you get, increase maximum pain by 1.5, up to 45. After collecting 30 regen globes, Vengeance's health boost is increased to 75%.
Note: This effect increases the duration of Vengeance, but also increases the time between casts. You mostly want this talent for the reward.

Soul Block: Grabbing a soul fragment grants a stack of Block, increasing Physical Armor by 75 against one attack. Holds up to 4 charges.

Level 4:

Executing Spikes: Basic attacks against targets afflicted by crowd control deal +25% damage. Against heroes, it also permanently increases the damage of Razor Spikes by 2%, up to 100%.

Combo Strike: Every 3rd attack against the same target hits twice for 75% damage.

Soul Feast: Collecting Soul Shards decreases the CD of Soul Cleave by 3 seconds each.

Level 7:

Immolation: Vengeance instantly deals 108+4% damage to all targets in a wide area around the impact. For the duration, you also deal 31+4% damage per second to all targets in melee range.

Fracture: Razor Spikes creates two Soul Shards.

Chain of Protection: You can cast Chain of Vengeance on an ally with 50% reduced CD. Doing so drags you to them instead, and grants them a 221+4% point shield for 3 seconds after the initial cast. Increases the range of Chain of Vengeance by 50%, stacking additively with Vengeance's range boost.

Giant Slicer: Each Soul Fragment producing attack deals bonus damage equal to 5% of the target's maximum HP. This damage is increased to 7.5% in Vengeance form.

Chain Slam: Pulling a target afflicted by Chain of Vengeance a long enough distance will stun the target for 0.5 seconds before applying the slow.

Relentless Vengeance: While Vengeance is active and you have more than 75 Pain, you are unstoppable.

Level 20:

Demonic Pursuit: Demonic Rush has two charges and can be cast on allies. When cast on an ally, place yourself between them and the nearest visible enemy hero.

Fel Infusion: Fel Wards heals for 60% of your max HP over 7.5 seconds instead.

You Are Prepared: Pain no longer decays out of combat.

Last Resort: Upon taking fatal damage, instantly fill your Pain, enter Vengeance form if not already in it, and heal for 30% of your max HP. 120 second CD.
