Atramedes (Melee Warrior)

The Blind Dragon

Atramedes, or Experiment 25463-D, is a failed attempt to bestow enhanced senses on a black dragon whelp. The toxic salve applied to the broodling robbed him of sight, forcing him to rely on sound and smell for survival. A tragic story... if Atramedes weren't so evil.

Special Resource: Sound

Enemies heroes and mercenaries revealed by Atramedes' Sonar Pulse grant him five stacks of Sound. Enemy minions grant him 1 stack of Sound. Sound is used to fuel Atramedes' abilities. Maximum 50 stacks of Sound.

Combat Trait

1
Sonar Pulse (Passive)
Atramedes has no vision radius. Instead, every 10 seconds, Sonar Pulse releases a wave of energy in a circle around Atramedes which travels outwards until it reaches a circumference 1.5x the size of a regular hero's vision radius (things in Atramedes vision radius have a blue 'radar' type appearance).

All objects (excluding cloaked units) in Sonar Pulse's range become visible to Atramedes and his allies. Enemy heroes outside the range of an average vision radius appear merely as radar type "pings". This vision radius does not follow Atramedes and decays in size over 15 seconds.

Enemy cloaked units are revealed to Atramedes for 3 seconds.

Primary Abilities

1
(Q) Roaring Flame
Channels a cone of flame in front of Atramedes, dealing X damage per second. Consumes 10 stacks of Sound per second.

Atramedes can move and auto-attack while channeling.
2
(W) Modulation
Atramedes alters the frequency of incoming attacks, absorbing X damage for 3 seconds.

Basic attacks by enemy heroes against Atramedes while Modulation is active grant 2 stacks of Sound.
3
(E) Sonic Boom
Glide, gaining 20% movement speed, consuming 5 stacks of Sound every second. Lasts until canceled or Atramedes runs out of Sound.

Heroic Abilities

1
(R1) Resonating Roar
After a 1.5 second delay Atramedes unleashes a terrible roar that stuns enemy heroes for 2 seconds and deals massive damage to nearby structures. Consumes 30 Sound.
2
(R2) Hide & Seek
Causes all enemy heroes to glow (that distinct 'glow-n-the-dark' green color) until they have traveled X distance. Glowing enemies are visible in the fog of war but not on the minimap. Consumes 30 Sound.

Special Mount

1
(Z) Pale White Dragon
Increases movement speed by 40%. (Basic mount, similar to Zagara, Anub'Arak, etc.)
