Auriel

Auriel is a Healer that excels when paired with a high-octane damage dealer.

Auriel, the Archangel of Hope, is a ranged Healer hero from the Diablo franchise. It is through the archangel Auriel that the power of hope flows into the fabric of creation. Her eternal light illuminates even the darkest souls. Seeking harmony in all things, she is a mediator, a counselor, and when the need arises, a fearless warrior.

Combat Trait

Bestow Hope
Cooldown: 1.5 seconds
Passive: 55% of the damage you deal to Heroes and 25% dealt to non-Heroes is stored as energy. Bestow an allied Hero with Hope. While they remain near Auriel, 25% of their damage to Heroes and 10% of their damage to non-Heroes is converted to energy. You can only have Bestow Hope on 1 ally at a time. You can store up to 475 energy.

Primary Abilities

Sacred Sweep
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Sweep the area with sacred power, dealing 45 damage to enemies and an additional 165 damage to enemies caught in the center.

Ray of Heaven
Cooldown: 5 seconds
Consume your stored energy and heal allied Heroes in the area for the amount of energy consumed.

While below 40% Health, Auriel restores 1.5% of her energy per second.

Detainment Strike
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Deal 55 damage to the first enemy Hero hit and knock them back. If they collide with terrain, they are also stunned for 1.25 seconds and take an additional 165 damage.

Heroic Abilities

Resurrect
Cooldown: 110 seconds
Channel on the spirit of a dead ally for 1 second. They can move in their spirit form after channel and move for 3 seconds, they are brought back to life with 50% of their maximum health after 3 seconds.
Auriel can use this ability while dead to resurrect herself.

Passive: While a resurrected ally remains alive, Resurrect's next cooldown recharges 50% faster.

Crystal Aegis
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Place an allied Hero into Stasis for 1.75 seconds. Upon expiration, Crystal Aegis deals 320 (+4% per level) damage to all nearby enemies and grants the allied Hero 20 Armor for 3 seconds. Crystal Aegis' cooldown is reduced by 1 second whenever Auriel deals Spell Damage.

Sacred Sweep cast speed increased by 20%

Tier 1

Righteous Assault
Reduces the cooldown of Sacred Sweep by 2.5 seconds for each enemy Hero hit by its center and its cast speed is increased by 30%

Increasing Clarity
? Quest: Every time Sacred Sweep hits a Hero in the center, increase the center damage by 2, up to 50.
? Reward: After hitting 25 Heroes, this center damage bonus is increased by 120 and its cooldown is reduced by 1.5 seconds.

Searing Light
Ray of Heaven also deals damage to enemies in the area equal to 30% of the energy consumed.

Might of Heaven
Hitting an enemy Hero with the center of Sacred Sweep marks them, allied Heroes with Bestow Hope generates 10% more energy from marked targets, the mark lasts for 4 seconds.

Tier 2

Majestic Span
Increases the radius of Sacred Sweep by 15%.

Heavy Burden
New functionality:
The tip of Detainment Strike now stuns, enemy Heroes are slowed by 40% for 3 seconds after the stun.
Passive: Heroes hit in the center of Sacred Sweep are slowed by 40% for 1.5 seconds.

Passive: Increases Detainment Strike

Tier 3

Glimmer of Hope
New Functionality:
Each enemy Hero hit by Sacred Sweep reduces the energy cost of the next Ray of Heaven by 10% up to 50%.

Energized Cord
Increases the energy stored from Auriel's Basic Attacks to 95% of the damage against Heroes and 55% of the damage against non-Heroes.
Does not affect Auriel's Bestow Hope ally.
Passive: Auriel gains an additional 0.5 Basic Attack range.

Empathic Light
Auriel stores 25% of damage taken by allies with Bestow Hope.

Burst of Light
While above 75% energy, Ray of Heaven recharges 75% faster.

Tier 4 (Heroics)

Tier 5

Blinding Flash
Enemies hit by the center area of Sacred Sweep are blinded for 2 seconds.

Bastion of Light
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Active: Activate to empower the next Ray of Heaven, allied Heroes healed by Ray of Heaven are granted Shield equal to 30% of the healing amount. Dealing Spell Damage reduces this cooldown by 1 second.

Piercing Lash
Detainment Strike now pierces and hits all enemy Heroes in a line, reducing the cooldown by 2 seconds for each Hero hit.

Tier 6

Reservoir of Hope
? Quest: Each maximum energy Ray of Heaven Auriel casts increases the maximum amount of energy that can be stored by 75.

Will of Heaven
Allies with Bestow Hope gain 20% Attack Speed.

Wrath of Heaven
Allies with Bestow Hope gain 10% Spell Power.

Angelic Flight
Moved to Level 16
Cooldown: 35 seconds
Active: After 2 seconds, fly to a target location.

Tier 7

Light Speed
Resurrected allies gain 150% increased Movement Speed, decaying over 4 seconds. The cooldown recharge of Resurrect is increased to 75% and its cooldown is reduced by 15 seconds.

Diamond Resolve
Crystal Aegis armor bonus increased to 60 and it grants 30 Armor for 3 seconds to nearby allies upon expiration.

Shield of Hope
Cooldown: 60 seconds
Active: Activate to grant all nearby allied Heroes a shield for 3 seconds equal to 50% of the amount of Health they are missing.

Beacon of Hope
Ray of Heaven energy regeneration increased to 4% per second and its health threshold to 75%.

Really love some of the ideas! And i have some suggestions.

Might of Heaven and Burst of Light are nice new talents, but I think it is hard to balance them as it really depends on the dps and promotes hyper-carries. For Might of Heaven i suggest to make it generate a set amount of energy on the next case of the friendly target damage, more like Johanna's sins exposed talent.
Bastion of Light seems to overlap with Shield of Hope in a way (active that grant shield) so maybe change the effect to healing over time?
Beacon of Hope is defiantly a good simple idea- giving energy regeneration bellow a certain threshold if im understanding correctly. But maybe it shouldn't be percentage based so it wont synergy with Reservoir of Hope in an op way.

Glimmer of Hope has its uses in its current form (though it should be buffed to store charges imo) but your idea is a great new talent! So I think both of them should exist either as a combined talent or separately.

I dont think CRYSTAL AEGIS needs a buff to its supportive capabilities but maybe the talent should increase the damage and grant the target a large shield based on the damage done. so on tier 7 you have a damage choice.
I still dont think Auriel should be able to cast RESURRECT on herself (thats Uther's thing) but thats on the devs...

Also SMILE here is kinda right, you should bold the changes or just write them. but other than that you did a really great job!
