Baal is one of the most dangerous from the 7 of the prime evils.
He was on the verge on destroying the world of Sanctuary and certainly responsible for the corruption of Worldstone
This "contempting/underestimating everyone" villain has certainly made people struggle to win him by a lot, we remember the fights, and his appearance in D2 as a relatively long and a rather "costly" fight
The hero/villain is based around "global knowledge/awareness" of what's going on the map (can help allies globally with his trait) and waveclear. Additionally his spells cost a hell of a lot, but he can summon his Festering Appendages to aid him in faster mana return and faster Trait refresh as much as possible, thus creating a rather unique hero to play with overall

Combat Trait

Touch of Destruction
"Touch" any stationary or CC-ed or greatly slowed target on the map (a minimap sign of such a target existing will appear), and "click" it to place a ToD effect on the target
ToD deals damage (lightning or poison trap) to it on a global scale with one of the following "trap effects"
Press D to cast a fast moving lightning bolt directing from Baal (or nearest FA to the target) that deals mediocre damage (100 + 15 per level)
Press F to deal poison (unavoidlable), for (75 + 10 per level over 3 seconds)
(mana = 100, CD = 20 sec)
Primary Abilities

Hoarfrost
After 0.75 second channel summon a v-shaped frost wave repeatedly knocking back the first target hit and damaging and slowing others for 2.5 seconds. Additionally the damage and slow will be greater & stronger the more targets were hit.
Knockback = 3 times x 2.5 range
Damage = (55 + 15 per level) x (1 + 0.1 x targets hit)
Slow = (25% + 1 % x targets hit) (mana = 100, CD = 18 seconds)

Defense Curse
Place a "rift" on the ground that after 0.5 seconds targets hit will get affected by a curse. The curse will make targets take additional 10% damage from all sources as well as 50% more by Baal himself or his spells (Hoarfrost) for 2 seconds
Mana = 65, CD = 7 sec

Festering Appendages
After 0.75 sec after appearing an indicator on the ground Baal uproots (120 + 30 HP per level, 25 + 7 per hit per level) festering appendages at any visible (global cast, just as ToD) location that hit nearby opponent(s) for up to 6 seconds
These appendages help Baal recover mana much faster as these return 12 mana per hit back
No mana cost, CD = 12 sec, max. duration = 5 sec

Vile Effigy
Summon another image of self at the latest placed Festering Appendage location dealing 50% of your damage BUT 150% of your ability damage (hoarfrost) mimicing your moves
(CD = 70, mana = 100, 15 seconds max. duration)

Minion of Destruction
Summon a (225 + 25 per level HP, 30 + 8 per level damage) minion of Destruction hitting near targets prioritizing buildings or targets that hit Baal. Every 5th hit by this minion will stun & knockback the oppressor for 0.5 sec AND will reduce all (but MoD's) of Baal's CDs by 2.5 seconds. Damage done to buildings is doubled
(CD = 100, Mana = 150, Duration = 20 seconds)

Vile Teleport
After channel of 2 seconds teleport to a nearby (or global) Festering Appendage location (CD = 45 seconds)

Demolitionist - Generic Talent
Aiding the vile - ToD has decreased CD by 5 sec. and heals allies near the ToD for 150% of damage done over 3 seconds
Greater Appendages - FA now have 25% more HP and return 25% more mana back to Baal
Echoes of destruction - Touch of Darkness now places "Defensive Curse" on the target affected for half it's duration
Talents lvl4
Lower Frost - Hoarfrost has it's knockback reduced by 50% but now has lower CD by 4 seconds now and lower cost by 45 mana
Higher Frost - Hoarfrost deals 25% more damage to non-heroic and increases knockback by 25%
Appendages of Destruction - FA now drains ammo and deals 25% more damage to structures
Focused Attack - Generic talent
Talents lvl7
Eternal Frost - Hoarfrost now travels 30% further and gains a 4th knockback effect on primary target hit
First Aid - Generic talent
Hand of vileness - Each 5th autoattack of baal reduces MS and AS of target hit by 25% for 1.25 seconds. Whenever this effect applies - drains 25 of Baal's mana however
Curse of destruction - Increase damage taken and duration effect from the "Defense Curse" by 30%
Talents lvl13
Spellshield - Generic talent
Vile wave - Hoarfrost now heals Baal for 20% of it's total damage done over 4 seconds, additionally Hoarfrost CD is reduced by 0.35 seconds per target hit with HF
Momentum of Destruction - Attacking targets with less than 25% HP of their max reduce CDs of Baal by 2 seconds and return 10 mana per attack back to Baal
Decripify - Activate to reduce damage, movement, and AS of nearby opponents by 30% fading over 2.5 seconds (CD = 45 sec)
Talents lvl16
Combo of Destruction - ToD also places a FA at it's location
Weakening Frost - Hoarfrost now reduces Target's damage and attack speed by 35% fading gradually over 3.5 seconds
Vile Defender - when below 25% of HP Baal summons a Vile Effigy to aid him in battle for 2.5 seconds. Additionally both Baal and his illusion gain a 20% lifesteal effect for the duration. This effect can't activate more than once in less than 50 seconds
Appendage overload - Gain 2 charges of FA but they cost 30 mana each now
Talents lvl20
Bolt of the Storm - Generic
Mana Rift - Activate to Drain mana of nearby opponents. Baal can turn but can't move under this effect. Mana drained = 25% at it's cast time and 15 per tick for the duration twice a second. Max. duration = 5 seconds and CD = 25 sec
Incineration Nova - after 0.75 seconds of channel release a wave of 12 fireballs in different directions each hitting up to 2 targets. Damage dealt is 150 + 30 per level and each fireball has increased damage on it's 2nd target hit by 25%
Double the Vile - At the moment of casting summon a Vile effigy at EACH festering appendage location, additionally the spell CD is reduced by 2.5 per targets killed (heroes and buildings razed count as 10) in total for the duration
Lister the Tormentor - Summon THE minion of Destruction that has 50% more HP and Damage, and moves/chases 20% faster. Additionally Baal can cast R again to return it back to his location
