Baron Ashbury

Sadistic Lord

A Ranged Support who prefers to slowly drain and disable enemies to gain from the pain.

A Gilnean noble raised alongside Genn Graymane, Ashbury was a dear friend of the king before the Cataclysm. When the Forsaken attacked and Gilneas became home to the Worgen, Ashbury was part of a trio of nobles who sided with the Forsaken to save his city at the cost of Genn's head. Their failure was followed by being raised to serve again until Godfrey, another of the nobles, struck down Sylvanas Windrunner for their freedom. From there, Ashbury and the others fled to Shadowfang Keep to plot against the Worgen once more.

(This concept was suggested to me a few months ago and I've finally gotten around to it and feel pretty happy with what came up. Hope the user who suggested the Shadowfang Keep bosses sees this and enjoys it at least. I'm looking to update my Godfrey concept soon, expect it in a week or so.

Almost missed this, good thing I was browsing today! The concept looks great overall, and I like how you took a spin on the mostly shadow priest-y abilities of Ashbury to make him into a support. I don't really have anything in the way of criticism or suggestions right now (maybe I'll come back later). I look forward to (maybe) seeing a Lord Walden concept! (Make it a trilogy?)

Thanks, I was hoping you would! Glad that criticizing is hard, just means I did a good job I suppose. I looked over Walden and right now it seems a little difficult, maybe I'll make him a Specialist or (slight chance) Multiclass Support/Assassin since the cauldron and potions theme seems so unique. If/When I do, I imagine it will look a bit like my Nobundo concept with bits of controlled healing and damage. A trilogy would be fun and satisfying, possibly adding things so they all can work well together. For now though, glad you got to see this.

Just a small followup about Walden, if you do decide to work on him he's got some interesting effects with potions that either force you to move to avoid damage or force you to stay still to avoid damage. That could make an interesting gimmick for the character, alternating between the potions to try to control enemies' movements.
