A persistent Melee Warrior that rallies his allies.

Cairne Bloodhoof was the High Chieftain of the united tribes of the tauren, chieftain of the Bloodhoof, leader of Thunder Bluff, and the final wielder of the Bloodhoof Runespear. Allying with the Horde upon its arrival on the shores of Kalimdor, Cairne stood as one of its wisest and most venerated leaders, until his unfortunate death in a duel against Garrosh Hellscream.

Tips:
-When Reincarnation is ready, Cairne is able to fight in the thick of things relatively safely. However, it has a very long cooldown and the space before reviving gives the enemy a window to win a fight.
-Shockwave is Cairne's only ranged damage. It is best used to knock enemies away from weaker allies or prevent an escape.
-War Stomp may have a mostly melee range, but its AoE stunning effect can be very powerful for allies to capitalize on.
-Endurance Aura can give your team an edge in a fight. Keep close to your Assassins for the greatest effect, allowing them to finish foes off.
-Thunderclap gives Cairne more AoE crowd control. Reducing the enemy's effectiveness in a fight can win your team several kills.
-Uppercut is more on demand single-target CC for Cairne. Depending on positioning, it makes for good peel or a setup for takedowns.

A wave of force ripples out from Cairne's weapon, dealing 140 (+4%) damage to enemies in a line and knocking them aside.

Cooldown: 10 seconds


Slam the ground, dealing 60 (+4%) damage to nearby enemies and stunning them for .5 seconds.

Endurance Aura
Mana Cost: 30
Cooldown: 12 seconds


Passive: Cairne empowers nearby allies, increasing their Attack Speed by 15% and their Movement Speed by 10%. Activate to double these bonuses for 4 seconds. Does not effect Cairne.

Heroic Abilities

Cooldown: 70 seconds


Blast all enemies around Cairne, dealing 210 (+4%) damage and slowing their Attack Speed by 75% and Movement Speed by 60% for 4 seconds.

Mana Cost: 60
Cooldown: 15 seconds


Deliver a crushing blow to the jaw, dealing 190 (+4%) damage to an enemy, knock them back, and stun them for 1.5 seconds.

Level 1 Talents

Spirit Walk (Passive): Quest: Collecting Regeneration Globes increases Cairne's Maximum Health by 20 and Health Regeneration by 1, up to 600 and 30.
Reward: After collecting 30 Regeneration Globes, stunning and slowing enemy Heroes reduces the cooldown of Reincarnation by 4 seconds.

Tremors (Q): Quest: Hitting Heroes with Shockwave increases its damage by 3, up to 90.
Reward: After hitting 30 Heroes, Shockwave's range is increased by 50%.

Drums of War (E): Quest: Have Endurance Aura effect allied Heroes for 15 total minutes. Multiple allies provide additional time. Mounted allies don't provide time.
Reward: Endurance Aura now effects Cairne and increase its active duration by 50%.

Level 4 Talents

High Chief's Strike (Q): Shockwave deals 50% more damage to Minions, Mercenaries, and Monsters.

Bloodhoof (W): Quest: Hit 50 enemy Heroes with War Stomp.
Reward: Increase War Stomp's radius by 50% and reduce its cooldown by 1 second per enemy Hero hit.

Spirit Armor (E): Endurance Aura grants allies 20 Spell Armor. This is doubled while it is active.

Level 7 Talents

Hamstring (Q): Shockwave slows enemies hit by 50% fading over 3 seconds.

Stand your Ground (W): Hitting an enemy Hero with War Stomp gives Cairne 25 Armor of 3 seconds.

Chieftain's Vitality (Passive): Being stunned or rooted heals Cairne for 15% of his maximum Health over 5 seconds.

Level 13 Talents

War Dance (W): If War Stomp hits 2 or more enemy Heroes, it can be cast again for free within the next 3 seconds. This free cast is not effected by War Dance.

Strength Aura (E): Increase the Attack Speed bonus of Endurance Aura by 10% and the Movement Speed bonus by 5%.

Executioner (Passive): Attacking a Hero that is slowed, rooted, or stunned increases your Basic Attack damage by 30% for 3 seconds.

Level 16 Talents

Chosen by the Earth (Q + W): War stomp stuns for an additional .5 seconds when hitting an enemy Hero hit by Shockwave within the last 3 seconds.

Rejuvenating Aura (E): Endurance Aura heals nearby allies for 50 (+4%) Health per second. This is doubled while it is active.

Staunch-Hearted Defender (Passive): When a nearby allied Hero is stunned or rooted, Shockwave's cooldown recharges 200% faster for 6 seconds. This effect has a 20 second cooldown.

Level 20 Talents

Thunderstruck (R): Thunderclap's radius is increased by 30% and it stuns enemies for 1.25 second.

One-Two Punch (R): Uppercut knocks back 50% farther and gains a second charge.

Threatening Aura (E): Endurance Aura's range is increased by 50% and enemy Heroes within range have their Attack and Movement Speed slowed by 20%. This slow is doubled while active.

Afterlife (D): Cairne can move and use Basic Abilities while reviving. Participating in takedowns while reviving reduces Reincarnation's cooldown by 30 seconds.
