Twin Guns & Blade's Edge

Two brothers merged into one body, wielding prismatic armor that reflects light into many split angles into the air, they have the ability to easily switch between themselves in battle for whichever combat style fits best.

Combat Trait

1
Brothers In Arms
Cooldown: 3s

Activate this ability to switch between Calet and Karid. Calet fights with his dual pistols, attacking from ranged with a moderate Attack Speed. Karid fights with his blade pieced together by the dual pistols, with a faster Attack Speed, but close quarters.

Using Basic Abilities in Calet's form will have bonus "combo-like" effects for the corresponding ability used by Karid if used within 3 seconds. This also applies to Calet when abilities are used by Karid.

Volley (Calet)
Calet's first Basic Attack on an enemy Hero causes him to unleash a volley of blasts at his target, dealing 61 (+4% per level) bonus damage over 2 seconds, while doing the same amount of damage in a small cone in front of him. This ability can only trigger on the same enemy Hero once every 7 seconds.

If this ability triggers on an enemy Hero with lower than 30% remaining health, he will instead launch a focused shot at them over a 1.5 second channel, dealing his Basic Attack damage plus an additional 1% for every 2.5% of his target's health missing. This portion of the ability can only happen once every 15 seconds.

Sharpened Blade (Karid)
Karid's blade deals 150% Basic Attack damage for the first 12 Basic Attacks he performs, regardless of if they hit or not. After 12 hits, the blade degrades to a Damaged level for the next 7 hits. His Basic Attack damage in a Damaged state will deal 120% Basic Attack damage, after all hits, the blade finally degrades to a Broken level. When Broken, he will deal 75% Basic Attack damage.

Karid can activate his Exalting Pierce ability to repair his blade for a single level, capping off at Perfect level which remains for 4 Basic Attacks, dealing 200% Basic Attack damage, or lasting for 2 damaging ability usages, dealing 30% bonus damage. His blade will not automatically refresh Sharpness under any means and it must be repaired through ability usage.

Primary Abilities

X Blast (Calet)
Cooldown: 5s

Calet blasts his pistols in an X shape in front of him, dealing 71 (+4% per level) damage to any enemies hit and Stunning enemy Heroes hit for 1 second. If Calet hits 2 or more enemy Heroes with this ability, he will recast it automatically in front of him, dealing 25% reduced damage and instead Slowing by 25% for 2.5 seconds.

Combo: Karid's Exalting Pierce will lunge him 25% further, and if he hits an enemy Hero with more current Health than him, he will flip them behind him and transform into Calet, shooting them once more for 66 (+4% per level) damage. If he hits an enemy Hero with less Health than him, he will kick them backwards, Stunning them for 1 second if they make contact with terrain.

Hot Pursuit (Calet)
Cooldown: 7s

Calet selects an enemy Hero, rolling forward and continually shooting them with weak blasts, dealing 24 (+4% per level) damage every 0.25 seconds that he's within range, also Slowing by 5% each time they're shot, capped off at 40% maximum. Calet will relentlessly pursuit his target for as long as he remains in range, with a 4 second maximum duration.

Combo: Karid's Heartstriker causes him to impale an enemy on his blade for up to 3 seconds if he hits all 3 strikes. Once an enemy is on the blade, they will take 51 (+4% per level) damage over the duration, and Karid can reactivate Heartstriker to rip out his blade and transform into Calet, unleashing barrages of blasts, holding the enemy in the air for 1.5 seconds while being able to freely move.

This Is My Rifle (Calet)
Cooldown: 10s

Calet begins to walk slowly in any chosen direction for up to 3 seconds, wildly shooting the area around him, dealing 66 (+4% per level) damage each second to any enemies in range and reducing their Armor by 3 for 2 seconds for each tick of damage they take. At the end of the duration or upon reactivation, Calet gets on his knee for 1 second, unleashing an extremely powerful rifle shot from his assimilated two-pistol rifle, dealing 104 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy Hero hit.

Combo: Karid's Quake Leap causes him to create cracked terrain in the ground where he lands for 3 seconds. If he lands on an enemy Hero, he will Stun them for 1 second and transform into Calet, launching high levels of plasma into the cracked ground, creating an outward explosion in a medium radius after 1.5 seconds, dealing 71 (+4% per level) damage and Slowing by 30% for 1.5 seconds.

Heartstriker (Karid)
Cooldown: 6.2s

Karid swings his blade in a cone in front of him on the first activation, dealing 54 (+4% per level) damage and Slowing by 10% for 2 seconds. Karid can reactivate this up to 2 more times within 3 seconds. The 2nd strike lunges him a small distance backwards, parrying his heavy blade in front of him to Evade any incoming damage for .75 seconds. The final strike will lunge his blade forward, stabbing the first enemy Hero hit in the heart, dealing 81 (+4% per level) damage and Silencing for 2 seconds.

Combo: Calet's X Blast automatically casts itself two additional times while he slowly moves backwards, each blast dealing 10% reduced damage. After the final blast, he transforms into Karid and lunges forward swinging his blade in an X in front of him, dealing 51 (+4% per level) damage each strike and knocking enemies hit aside.

Quake Leap (Karid)
Cooldown: 7s

Karid leaps to a nearby area and slams his blade point down into the ground, radiating an outward tremor Slowing enemies in a medium radius by 32.5% for up to 3 seconds, the longer they stay in the tremor. If at least two enemy Heroes are Slowed by this ability, Karid gains 10 Armor and 20% Movement Speed for 3 seconds.

Combo: Calet's This Is My Rifle will instantly ready him to shoot his rifle rather than the initial rambunctious firing. He can instead shoot 3 times, each shot dealing 60 (+4% per level) damage. After firing all shots, transform into Karid and drag yourself to the nearest enemy Hero in a medium radius damaged by the rifle shots and cripple their hamstring, slowing their Movement Speed by 25% for 3 seconds.

Exalting Pierce (Karid
Cooldown: 8s

Karid flings his blade backwards, increasing his blade's Sharpness level by one before lunging forward a short distance after a 0.75 second delay, dealing 71 (+4% per level) damage and Silencing the first enemy Hero hit for 1.75 seconds.

Combo: Calet's Hot Pursuit will shoot a more powerful blast every second, dealing 55 (+4% per level) damage and reducing the damage from the next blast by 15%. If Calet gets close enough to his target, he will leap over them and transform into Karid, surprising them, dealing 51 (+4% per level) damage and Blinding them for 1 second, knocking them back a short distance.

Reload
A "land the bar in the zone" minigame.

Calet reloads his guns over 1.75 seconds. If he reloads his weapons perfectly, he gains 30% Basic Attack damage and 5% Movement Speed each hit, up to 15% for 3 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Split Personalities
Cooldown: 80s
Can be used in either form

Using the brunt of your strength, you lift a target into the air with raw energy for 4 seconds. Karid, Calet and the target become immune to damage with the target only being damaged by this ability for the duration. Calet and Karid unleash barrages of sword slashes, and energy bursts at the gravitating enemy, slicing through them in every omni-direction and blasting them from every angle. At the end of the duration, the brothers become One and smite the target down with a catastrophic slice, dealing 307 (+4% per level) damage over the entirety of the ability.

After this ability is used, your forms need time to regenerate, putting Brothers In Arms on cooldown for 30 seconds.

Blaster Blade
Cooldown: 70s
Can only be used by Calet

Calet channels for 2 seconds, assembling a large enough 'bowgun' to launch Karid's blade with. After channeling, Calet launches the blade a medium-large distance over the map, transforming into Karid and riding it until it reaches its destination or hits an enemy Hero. If it hits an enemy Hero, it deals 202 (+4% per level) damage and Karid activates Quake Leap automatically on them.

Talents

Level 1

Trigger Finger (Brothers In Arms)
Calet's Basic Attack speed is increased by 30% for 3 seconds after Brothers In Arms is activated.

Whetstone Sword (Sharpened Blade/Exalting Pierce)
Karid's blade won't lose sharpness for 3 seconds after using Exalting Pierce (if it's Perfect, reduce the duration to 2 seconds).

Free Foot (Volley)
While using Volley, Calet can move at 65% Movement Speed.

Level 4

Lots Of Time (Combo-Passive)
The maximum time allowed for a combo is increased by 1 second.

Omniblast (X Blast)
X Blast now deals damage in an asterisk shape (*), rather than an X. Enemies hit by the first blast have their Armor reduced by 10 for 2.5 seconds.

King Of Blades (Combo-Passive)
Whenever Karid uses a combo, he hits as if the enemy is missing 10 Armor and heals for 30% of the damage dealt.

Level 7

To The Point (Heartstriker)
Each successive strike with Heartstriker increases Karid's weapon Sharpness by 33%, capping at a single Sharpness level gained if all 3 strikes are hit.

12 Rounds (Passive)
Calet can now shoot 12 total bullets with his Basic Attacks before he must reload. Each reload, a tiny bar is placed on a scale. Activating the Reload active while the bar is on a marked point on the scale will instantly reload Calet's weapons, increase his Basic Attack damage by 30% for 3 seconds, and he will gain a burst of 5% Movement Speed each hit, up to 15% for 3 seconds.

At The Neck (Exalting Pierce)
Karid naturally lunges 25% further with Exalting Pierce. In addition, they are Slowed by 30% for the same duration as the Blind persists.

Level 13

Ballista Gun (This Is My Rifle)
Calet's Basic Attacks deal area of effect damage for 4 seconds after hitting the final shot. In addition, Calet's Basic Attack range is increased by 30% for 4 seconds.

Magic Bullets (Passive)
Every 12 successful Basic Attacks performed by Calet will grant Karid's blade a level of Sharpness.

Little Bitta Health (Passive)
Both Calet and Karid heal for 20% of the damage dealt with their Basic Attacks.

Level 16

Supremacy (Brothers In Arms)
When switching to Calet, gain 15% Movement Speed, Attack Speed & Evasion Chance for 3 seconds. When switching to Karid, you grow 15% bigger and gain 15% Maximum Health for 3 seconds.

Flawless Accuracy (X Blast)
After hitting an enemy Hero with 2 or more uses of X Blast within 3 seconds, your Basic Attacks towards them will NEVER miss & deal 30% more damage for 3 seconds.

Volcanic (Quake Leap)
When Karid lands, he creates a flowing pool of magma on the terrain below his feet due to the tectonic shifting. The pool remains and slowly spreads over 3 seconds, dealing 61 (+4% per level) damage each second. Karid attacks 20% faster while on the magma, and his weapon doesn't lose Sharpness.

Level 20

A Lapse In Time & Form (Split Personalities)
After the first cast of Split Personalities, shadowed doppelgangers of Calet and Karid keep the enemy suspended in the air for 4 additional seconds, but they deal no damage.

Calet gains the ability to steer the blade during transit, allowing Calet to travel wherever he pleases, automatically removing him after a 6 second duration.

Quick Fingers (Reload)
Calet will automatically always have a perfect reload.

Superior Metals (Sharpened Blade)
Every 12 seconds, Karid can attack as if his blade was at Perfect level for 3 seconds, regardless of its actual Sharpness level.
