Cerebra

The "Harmless" Overlord

Cerebra the not so Harmless Overlord was once a servant of the Queen of Blades. After her disinfestation at the hands of James Raynor, the Swarm fractured and many Overlords regained their sentience. Cerebra was one of them, but unlike the others who wander among the Feral Zerg, she was smart and cunning. Knowing that one day the Queen of Blades would return, Cerebra began experimenting with herself in order to somehow sever her ties to the Swarm and secure her independence permanently. Now free of the Swarm's grasp, Cerebra scours the Koprulu Sector to defend her agency, taking control of any Feral Zerg she encounters to add them to her growing brood.

Cerebra is a unique pseudo-Global Healer with a powerful Area Healing who can travel over terrains and attack indirectly using her minions.

- changed some talents from gaining a bonus for every Zergling dead to for each one alive
- buffed Zergling health and reduced the XP amount granted
- changed her Z to act like Falstad and the targeting to act like Brightwing's

Combat Trait

D - Just a Harmless Overlord
Just a Harmless Overlord
Cooldown: 0.25 seconds
Cerebra is just a "harmless" Overlord. She does not have a Basic Attack. Instead, Cerebra commands her Zerglings to do her bidding. Activate this ability to move all of Cerebra's Zerglings to a targeted location. Additionally, Cerebra moves 15% Slower but is able to fly past impassable terrains. While floating above an impassable terrain, Cerebra cannot cast any abilities.

Q - Transfusion
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Mana: 30
Throw forward a glob of regenerative bile that impacts the ground, exploding in an area and healing nearby Allied Heroes and Zerglings for 300 Health.

W - Fungal Growth
Cooldown: 10 seconds
Mana: 65
Throw forward a glob of fungal spores that impacts the ground and exploding. Enemies hit take 45 damage every 0.5 seconds for 3 seconds and are Slowed by 60%, decaying over 2 seconds.

E - Zerg Rush
Cooldown: 8 second
Mana: 40
Activate to make all Zerglings charge at an enemy, each Zergling dealing 43 damage upon impact, Slowing them by 30% for 1 second, and gaining an increased 30% Attack Damage for the next Basic Attack within 2 seconds.

Passive: Cerebra Spawns 1 Zergling every 4 seconds, up to a maximum of 4 Zerglings. For every Zergling alive, Cerebra regenerates 32 Health per second. Instead of Basic Attacking, Cerebra commands her Zerglings to Fixate on a target enemy and attack them. Zerglings grant 10% XP of a Heroic Kill when killed, but does not count as a Heroic Takedown.

Zerglings have 700 Health, deal 36 Physical Damage (counts as Cerebra's Basic Attacks), have 1.5 Attack Range, 1.25 Attack Speed, and a leash range of 6.5.

Heroic Abilities

R1 - Overseer Strain
Cooldown: 70 seconds
Mana: 60
Enter a cocoon to become Invulnerable for 1 second. After that, become an Overseer for 12 seconds. During this time, Cerebra's Vision Radius and Ability Range are increased by 50%.
Additionally, gain the Oversight Secondary Ability which can be activated while Overseer Strain is active to temporarily Reveal in a large area around Cerebra.

R2 - Ventral Chambers
Cooldown: 20 seconds
Mana: 60
Target an Allied Hero to pull them towards Cerebra and devouring them for 6 seconds. While inside Cerebra, they are healed for 186 Health per second. Allied Heroes can leave Cerebra at will. Stores up to 2 charges.

Special Mount

Z - Biotriangulation
Cooldown: 50 seconds
Target an Allied Non-Structure Unit and call back all Zerglings into Cerebra. After 1 second, increase Cerebra's Movement Speed by 100% and fly over impassable terrains towards the target unit.

Level 1

Q - Healing Microbes
Healing is increased by 5% for every living Zergling. Transfusion heals for an additional 45 Health per second for 4 seconds.

W - Ensnaring Mycelia
Increase the radius of Fungal Growth by 10%
? Quest: Hit 40 Enemy Heroes with Fungal Growth
? Reward: After hitting 40 Enemy Heroes, Fungal Growth will instead Root enemies for 2 seconds before applying its Slow.

E - Enhanced Hive Mind
Increase Cerebra's leash range by 1
? Quest: Attack Heroes with Zerglings 150 times.
? Reward: After Attacking Heroes with Zerglings 75 times, increase the maximum number of Zerglings controlled to 5
? Reward: After Attacking Heroes 150 times, Zerglings gain 5% increased Attack Damage for each one alive.

Level 4

Q - Anti-Psionic Shell
Allied Heroes hit affected by Transfusion gains 10 Spell Armor for 2 seconds. Increase this amount by 5 for Zergling alive.

W - Saprophyte
Enemy Heroes hit by Fungal Growth have their Physical Armor reduced by 10 every 0.5 seconds up to 30.

E - Volatile Hatchlings
Zerglings' Basic Attacks cleave for 60% damage and they explode upon death, dealing 105 damage to enemies in a small area.

Trait - Pneumatized Carapace
Gain 10% Movement Speed. After not taking damage for 6 seconds, gain an additional 10% Movement Speed and regenerate 2 Mana per second.

Level 7

Q - Rapid Transfusion
Reduce the Cooldown of Transfusion by 1 second. If 2 or more Allied Heroes are healed by it, its Cooldown recharge 80% faster.

W - Contaminate
Reduce the Cooldown of Fungal Growth by 2 seconds. Structures affected by Fungal Growth are Disabled.

Active - Ocular Parasite
Cooldown: 40 seconds
Infect an enemy Hero with a parasite that grants Vision, Revealing them to Allied Heroes. Lasts for 8 seconds and stores up to 2 charges. Each Hero can only be affected by 1 Ocular Parasite.
If cast on Structures grants it 500 Shield for its duration.

Level 10

R1 - Overseer Strain

Q - Upgraded Carapace
Allied Heroes hit by Transfusion gain a Shield equal to 60% of the amount healed.

W - Black Mold
Increase the duration of Fungal Growth's damage by 1 second. At the end of Fungal Growth, enemy Heroes take 8% of their Maximum Health as damage.

E - Adrenal Glands
Zerglings gain 20% more Attack Speed. Each Basic Attack by Zerglings reduces enemy Hero's armor by 10 up to 30 for 1 second.

Level 16

Q - Cleansing Bile
Allied Heroes hit by Transfusion gains Unstoppable for 1 second. If a Disabling Effect is removed, heals for 50% more.

W - Cordyceps
Fungal Growth reduces enemy damage by 50%. Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes affected by Fungal Growth heals for 5% of maximum Health.

Trait - Sinister Minds
Cerebra gains 10% Spell Power for every Zergling alive. Zerglings gain 20 Spell Armor.

Level 20

R1 - Mutation Complete
Cerebra's Overseer form lasts indefinitely and while in this form, Cerebra's Movement Speed cannot be reduced below 110%. Additionally, Biotriangulation's Cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds.

R2 - Doom Drop
Every 15 seconds, all charges of Ventral Chambers are returned at once. While inside, Allies are able to cast Doom Drop which ejects them at a targeted location, dealing 143 damage and gaining 50 Armor for 3 seconds.

Trait - Not So Harmless After All
Cerebra gains a ranged Basic Attack that deals 126 Spell Damage in an area and Slowing enemies hit by 15%, stacking 3 times. This has 7.0 Range and 1.11 Attack Speed.

E - Frenzied Charge
Reduce the Cooldown of Zerg Rush by 2 seconds. Enemy Heroes hit by the initial impact are Stunned for 0.5 seconds, stacking per Zergling impact.

Hello, first of all, i'm really fan of the concept. And i do really like a lot his 2nd ultimate ability, Ventral Chambers.

However, i don't think giving experience for killing Zerglings is a great idea. 450 base hp is really really low, it make fairly easy to kill them in chain, even more in fights or laning phase. Having a free "25% of a kill xp" every 4 secondes can really make the opponent team snowball if you have a poor controle on your zergling. The fact you cant controle them as you want like Rexxar do with Misha (having 1 sec cd on E + 30 mana cost) make them pretty hard to controle, so way easier to kill than a Misha for exemple.

I hope i didn't misenderstand how they work, and i hope it will give you some idea about reworking that ability which i do really like the concept of.
