The Light Bender

Kangor, one of Dr. Boom's scientists is a blue golem that makes lasers by focusing rays of light. He has big plans, and looks forward to testing his progression on the nexus.

Kangor uses the power of light to his team's advantage as a support.

Pros:
  • High amounts of shields and healing.
  • Burst damage.
  • Very effective in narrow spaces.

Cons:
  • Requires set-up and the right fighting locations.
  • No escape.
  • Low lane clear.

Combat Trait

Conjure Shard
10 Second Cooldown: Kangor creates a shard in target location for 4 seconds. The shard acts as terrain.

Primary Abilities

Dispersion
5 Second Cooldown: Kangor fires a ray of light that deals 58 (+4% per level) damage to the first enemy hit and 354 (+4% per level) damage to the second enemy hit. the second enemy hit is also slowed by 60% for 1.5 seconds.

Sharp Carapace
10 Second Cooldown: Grants you or an allied Hero a shield that absorbs 350 (+4% per level) damage for 3 seconds. If damage breaks the shield, it explodes, dealing 135 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies.

Reflected Beam
9 Second Cooldown: Send a beam of light that restores 152 (+4% per level) Health to allies. The beam bounces off terrain, and the first two bounces increases its range by 40% each. Each subsequent heal on the same ally is only 35% effective.

Heroic Abilities

Hyper-Radiate
80 Second Cooldown: Channel for up to 4 seconds, creating a beam that deals 22 (+4% per level) damage every 0.25 seconds to enemies inside it and blinds them. Allies in the beam are healed by 33 (+4% per level) every 0.25 seconds.
The beam bounces off terrain, and each bounce increases its range by 50%. In areas of beam overlap, the damage and healing are increased by 50%.

Erratic Core
90 Second Cooldown: Summon a giant crystal that acts as terrain for 8 seconds. The Crystal has 4800 (+2.5% per level) Health and can be damaged by players from both teams. If the crystal is destroyed, it deals 819 (+4% per level) to all enemies in a large area around it and stuns them for 2 seconds.

Talents

Tier 1 (Level 1)

  • Prismatic Shard- The shard from your trait can be the first target of Dispersion.
  • Mending Shard- The shard from your trait heals nearby allied heroes by 21 (+4% per level) every second.
  • Sharp Shard- If Sharp Carapace explodes, the shard from your trait also explodes, dealing 135 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies.

Tier 2 (Level 4)

  • Radiant Momentum- Basic abilities recharge 25% faster while above 80% health.
  • Spiked Carapace- Whenever an ally shielded by Sharp Carapace is damaged by a hero, deal 23 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies.
  • Beam Mastery- Reduce the cooldown of Reflected Beam by 1.5 seconds whenever it bounces off terrain.

Tier 3 (level 7)

  • Focused Light- Dispersion Stuns the second target instead of slowing it.
  • Shardology- Reduce the cooldown of Conjure Shard by 2 seconds and gain a second charge.
  • Preserve Radiance- Your healing and shielding amounts are increased by 100% on allies that are above 80% Health.
  • Clarifying Armor- Sharp Carapace also removes all control imparing effects from the target.

Tier 4 (level 10)

  • Hyper-Radiate- See above.
  • Erratic Core- See above.

tier 5 (level 13)

  • Proton Engine- Restore 0.75% of your Health each second while above 80% Health
  • Dazzling Lights- Reflected Beam blinds enemies hit for 1.5 seconds.
  • Reforming Crystals- Reduce the cooldown of Sharp Carapace by 3 Seconds if the shield breaks.
  • Thick Carapace- Sharp Carapace absorbs 121 (+4% per level) more damage.

tier 6 (level 16)

  • Crystaline Splinters- Enemies damaged by Sharp Carapace are slowed by 30% for 3 seconds and take 17 (+4% per level) damage every 0.25 seconds for the duration.
  • Quantum Mechanics- Each time Dispersion effects two enemies, increase the damage of the next Dispersion by 35%, stacking up to 5 times.
  • Hindering Beam- Reflected Beam also deals 67 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies hit. Each subsequent hit on the same enemy is only 50% effective.

tier 7 (level 20)

  • Pinnacle Radiation- Double the width and damage of Hyper-Radiate.
  • Humming Core- The Crystal from Erratic Core has a large aura that heals allies by 2% of thier maximum Health and deals 2% of enemy maximum Health as damage every second.
  • Reseved Light- When you choose this talent, choose a basic ability. You have an extra charge of it.
  • Focus Lights- Activate to stun target enemy for 1 second. (30 second cooldown).
