Shouldn't we save-- -Ehem- -- BOOOONESTOOOORM(sorry but not) for Marrowgar?
It seems fairly iconic for the boss, which could easily make it in with a unique(enough) kit.

What uparrow said. Marrowgar wouldn't really fit in the Nexus. I'm not sure Bonestorm actually fits Darion's playstyle though. Might replace it with something else.

Bonestorm is a Blood Death Knight Talent in World of Warcraft now, and while I would love to see Marrowgar in Heroes of the Storm he just is not as iconic as some of the other Scourge members like Kel'Thuzad and Anub'arak.

As a Death Knight main in World of Warcraft, most of the Death Knight Abilities do not work at all in the same way as you have them here.

I also play a DK, and yeah, a lot of stuff works a lot differently, but some of the core "ideas" - Killing Machine procs from basic attacks, Death Grip pulls, Raise Dead - are the same. MMOs and MOBAs don't work the same way.

But please do tell me what specifically you're referring to, I would like to keep this a bit more accurate to fantasy.

Here's a few things I immediately see that do feel unlike Death Knight in WoW:

Killing Machine: I could change this to improve his Obliterate, I suppose. However I do feel like the trait is quite nice as it is and helps make him more threatening.

Obliterate: Not a leap in WoW, of course, but IIRC the animation is jumping up and then striking downwards.

Clawing Shadows: I can't remember if it's a DoT in WoW but it feels good as it is to me.

Blood Boil: No bonus to minions or % damage in WoW but this makes it more interesting, I feel. The buff to minion damage is to give him waveclear and make up for the lack of the percent-based Hero damage. I think it's alright.

Death Grip: Obviously no passive effect in WoW. It's an instant pull, but I don't want to overlap with Stitches' hook, and this feels more interesting than just a pull anyway.

Bone Shield: It doesn't work like that in WoW but it's the best method of giving him effectively a Block at level 1 that I could find.

Razorice: Maybe I should swap the names of Killing Machine and Razorice. This doesn't really fit how it works in WoW, I'll admit that.

Vampiric Blood: In WoW the buff to Health isn't passive, but that overlaps with Muradin's Avatar, and besides this version feels very nice. If you combine this with a Blood Boil and you have the Blood Feast talent, or if you combine this with Purgatory, it's some crazy healing.

Blood Strike: I can't remember if "Blood Strike" is actually an ability in WoW but anyway the name fits the talent well enough.

Dark Succor: This applies to Death Strike in WoW, but there's no Death Strike here, so it applies to Obliterate. Still roughly the same effect.

Blood Plague: It's just a DoT in WoW but this works better for the hero design.

True, but some names of your kit could simply be renamed to more resemble their Warcraft inspiration. For instance, Icy Talons instead of Killing Machine.

Also just noticed the Hero name change from Teron Gorefiend to Darion Morgraine.

Sounds like fun, I've been hoping Blizz will add a dps DK for a while, Arthas just doesn't do it for me.

Two teensy things though. One, I'd suggest you reclassify him as multi, those talents scream assassin/warrior hybrid to me. Not a huge deal regardless. My other concern, though, is more at the conceptual level: Gorefiend is not a Scourge death knight, he's a Gul'dan Old Horde WC2 death knight. Very different things. None of this is Gorefiend-style death knightery, it's Scourge-style. Change the name to, say, Koltira Deathweaver (or somebody like that) and I'm sold.

I considered classifying him as multiclass, but honestly I make nearly all of my concepts fairly flexible and marking him as the same category as Anduin, who is definitely about as multiclass as it gets, feels a little wrong.

Yes, I also feel a bit weird about making Teron Gorefiend a DK just like those of the Scourge. I'm changing him to Darion Mograine, completely different character but still can fit this ability set.
