Horadric Scholar

Deckard Cain was a Horadric scholar well versed in obscure lore and history of the arcane.

Combat Trait

1
Healing Potion
Press "D" to drink a healing potion which heals for a moderate amount. Additionally all allied heroes also get a healing potion on their action bar which they can use. The CD of the potion for allies is restored every 30 seconds as long as they are near Cain. If not near Cain it will refresh instantly upon being near him as long as 30 seconds has passed since last use.

Primary Abilities

Arcane Wave
Sends out a long range wave attack that deals moderate damage. Travels semi slowly through the air but enemies caught in the wave have movement speed slowed by 30% as long as in wave.

Imbue Weapon
The heroes next attack will deal minor additional damage and stun a target for 2 second. Half duration of stun if cast on ranged heroes or himself.

Horadric Knowledge
Click to learn about an enemy hero. The hero becomes marked and remains visible for 6 seconds and takes 25% additional damage.

Heroic Abilities

Transmute Armor
Empowers an allied heros armor. Gives them slight damage increase and a large amount of maximum health.

Town Portal
Creates a portal at a desired location anywere on the map. One hero may click on it to instantly teleported to Cain.

Explanations for spells:

Passive: Essentially this hero works like brightwing were his healing comes from his passive. Essentially every teamfight you get 5 heals but only 1 for each champ (unless fights are 30 seconds or longer has passed). This heals for maybe as much as an Uther holy light maybe 3 times more than a BW proc because it doesn't go off as much. Makes him a good aoe healer but not a great single target healer. However he has an option of an ult that can be used to save allies if they targeted heavily. I think this passive brings in great gameplay as well as allied heroes will come down from other lanes to refresh their potion.

Arcane Wave: Every support has some sort of wave clearing aoe damage and this is his.

Imbue Weapon: Gives him sort of a CC. I think other heroes will think it cool that their attack stuns a target.


Horadric Knowledge: Essentially a short duration fairie fire from druids of the talon from warcraft 3. Great anti stealth.

Transmute Armor: Essentially a weaker version of Muradins Avatar but is cast on allies instead. Imagine a valla or illidan with this cast on him/her.

Town Portal: This spell seems week at first but can have so many clutch saves of teammates across the entire map. Additionally it allows split pushing.
