Fenix (Dragoon)

Steward of the Templar

A veteran of countless battles, defender of Aiur and martyr of Antioch, Praetor Fenix fell at long last to the Zerg. But not even as his body was broken, not even death could break his spirit, both placed in the metal chassis of a Dragoon. And so Fenix would fight from Aiur to Charr and finally to Korhal, and now, to Nexus. But what could draw a twice dead warrior to this place?

Combat Trait

Dragoon Plasma Shield
Whenever Dragoon Plasma Shield is not on cooldown, 75% of the damage dealt to Fenix from all sources is dealt to his Mana instead of his health. Additionally, if he hasn't been damaged for 2s, he regenerates 1% of his maximum mana every second.
If Fenix' mana is depleted, Dragoon Plasma Shield goes on cooldown ("is disabled"), during which Fenix regenerates 2% of his maximum mana per second.

Primary Abilities

Graviton Pulse
Fires an energy bolt at target location, which explodes after 5s or when reactivated.
The bolt deals Q (moderate) damage, but gains +10% damage for every 0.1s before detonation, up to +250%.
If allowed to charge for 1s, the explosion pushes enemies to the edge of its radius and stuns for 1s.

Cooldown: 8s from detonation.

Volatile Barrage
Channel to fire a salvo of 8 energy mines (0.1s per mine) scattered over a sizable area. After 0.6s the mines arm, and will deal W (moderate to high) damage and slow (15% for 2s, stacking up to 2) enemies in a tiny AoE when walked into.
Mines that would land on an enemy instead land right next to them - close enough to damage but not close enough to trigger.

Mine lifetime: 5s.
Cooldown: 10s from start of cast.

Phase Disruptor
Passive: Fenix' basic attack and basic abilities leave behind Phase Disruptor fields that deal E (light to moderate) damage every 0.5s for 3s. Damage from multiple fields does not stack except on heroes. Basic attacks create small fields, abilities create ones covering their own area of effect.
Can be activated to fire a basic attack at target area, creating a small Phase Disruptor field and hitting a single target as normal if present.

Cooldown: As basic attack.

Heroic Abilities

Aegis Shielding
Fenix extends his shield to protect all allied heroes and buildings in Storm Shield range. For 4s, 50% of the damage they would take is instead redirected to Fenix' mana. Fenix takes 40% reduced damage from the redirection and all other sources for the duration.

Cooldown: 60s from cast.

Force Cage
Calls down a drone (only shadow visible, like Hyperion) that creates a large dome shield (slightly bigger than Hyperion) to entrap enemies. Lasts 8s, until reactivated or Fenix dies, whichever comes first.
The edges of the dome block enemy skillshots. Enemies attempting to cross the edge (including leaps/dashes/blinks) take R2 (high) damage, are stunned for 0.5s, then slowed by 80%, decaying over 2s. The damage and slow duration are reduced by 50% for every time after the first.
Additionally, Fenix gains R2 (a lot) of mana for every enemy hero inside the dome when it is created. He cannot leave the dome, voluntarily or otherwise.

Range slightly shorter than radius.
Cooldown: 120s.

Special Mount

Travel Mode
Enable to move 40% faster but disable abilities and attacks.

Cooldown: 5s.

Level 1 Talents

> Deflection Shield (Dragoon Plasma Shield): As Block, but also deals all damage to mana (no hp damage) and gains full stacks whenever Dragoon Plasma Shield comes off cooldown.
> Destructive Pulse (Graviton Pulse): Deals +50% damage, stacks additively with ability's own bonus.
> Paint Target (Phase Disruptor): Enemies damaged by Phase Disruptor are Revealed for 2s.
> Calldown: Observer (Active): Summons an Observer that grants flying vision in targeted area. The Observer has low hit points, ignores collision and terrain and is permanently cloaked. The Observer occasionally makes sounds or moves around, and will follow enemy heroes for a short distance if one moves near it. 45s duration, 45s cooldown, stores 2 charges.

Level 4 Talents

> Draining Assault (Phase Disruptor): Phase Disruptor and Fenix' basic attacks restore mana equal to 20% of the damage dealt.
> Gravity Tethers (Volatile Barrage): Slow duration increased to 3s and now stacks up to 3 times.
> Singularity Charge (Passive): Increases the range of Fenix' basic attack and basic abilities by 20%.
> Augmented Shielding (Dragoon Plasma Shield): Whenever Fenix is healed by any source (including regen orbs, moonwells, and natural regen), he also gains mana equal to 30% of the amount healed.

Level 7 Talents

> Saturation Barrage (Volatile Barrage): Now fires 4 more mines over a larger area.
> Rapid Barrage (Volatile Barrage): Now fires 2 less mines over a smaller area, but holds 2 charges and has 2s quicker cooldown.
> Persistent Disruption (Phase Disruptor): Fields now last 2s longer.
> Shield Battery (Active): Regain 20% mana over 5s. If Dragoon Plasma Shield is on cooldown, clear its cooldown and restore an additional 10% mana instantly. Cooldown: 45s but recharges up to 100% faster based on Fenix' current mana.

Level 13 Talents

> Graviton Dispersion (Graviton Pulse): Increases explosion radius with time, up to +50% after 2.5s
> Graviton Accelerator: (Graviton Pulse): Now detonates automatically as soon as it reaches the stun threshold, but has 2s shorter cooldown.
> High Yield (Volatile Barrage): Mines now take 50% longer to fire and to arm, but explosion radius increased by 150%. Trigger radius unchanged; explosions do not chain.
> Warp In (Active): Teleport from Hall of Storms to anywhere your team has vision. For 5s after warp in, stunned, Dragoon Plasma Shield disabled, and take 50% more damage from all sources. Cooldown: 60s.
> Relentless (Passive): Reduce duration of all CC effects by 50%.

Level 16 Talents

> Shield Cycler (Dragoon Plasma Shield): May now manually activate trait to put it on normal 5s cooldown, regenerating 10% of his mana as normal. No other cooldown.
> Recursive Munitions (Graviton Pulse): Now scatters 1 + 1 per 0.5s of buildup (max 6) Volatile Barrage mines after detonation.
> Disruptive Pulse (Graviton Pulse): Now always stuns for 0.5s + 0.05s per 0.1 of buildup (max 1.75s). Detonates instantly if combined with Graviton Accelerator.
> Reactive Shielding (Dragoon Plasma Shield): 50% of all damage taken while Dragoon Plasma Shielding is on cooldown is returned as mana over 10s afterwards.
> Emergency Shielding (Active): As Stone Skin, but equal to 50% of Max HP due to lower base HP.

Level 20 Talents

> Hardened Aegis (Aegis Shielding): Damage redirection and damage reduction both increased to 75%.
> Recursive Entrapment (Force Cage): Also creates a second dome with 50% radius. Cooldown reduced by 30s.
> Bolt of the Storm (Active): Blink.
> Nexus Frenzy (Passive): Pyew pyew shoot moar gud.
> Rewind: (Active): Aw yeah.
