Dragon Hunters of Lordaeron

History: (Yes these are real characters)
Feranor Steeltoe and Sigrun Ironhew were Dwarven dragon hunters, and the leaders of a group known as the Dragon Hunters. Aided by Prince Arthas himself, the Black Dragon Searinox was slain during the Third War. With the Dragon's heart, Feranor forged an Orb of Fire for Price Arthas to aid in the battle against the Blackrock Orcs.

Gameplay:
Feranor and Sigrun are a Mortar team with devastating long range artillery and wield the prowess of Dwarven engineering. Feranor mans the mortar while Sigrun, a gifted Rifleman, provides utility and empowers Feranor.

Feranor & Sigrun are a micro heavy Hero with the ability to pressure separately, zone for each other and empower each other's abilities when together. Feranor & Sigrun share a health bar while Mortar Combat is active, and have their own health bars while Divide & Conquer is active. If defeated with Mortar Combat active, 100% EXP is given, and give 50% EXP upon death, accounting for 0.5 deaths, while Divide & Conquer is active.

Cooldown: 3 seconds

Divide & Conquer:
Activate to separate Feranor and Sigrun, leaving them with health equal to the percentage of health they had together. Once separated, gain ability to control their movement separately.
Sigrun can Basic Attack and has no resource. Feranor has no Basic Attack and uses Mana.

Mortar Combat:
Active to bring together Feranor and Sigrun. Health is determined by average percent health remaining of both Heroes.
While Mortar Combat is active, neither Hero can Basic Attack.

Cooldown: 10 seconds
Mana: 25

Launch a mortar from Feranor's position after a 0.75 second delay dealing 175 (+4% per level) damage in a small area.

Cooldown is reduced by 6 seconds while Mortar Combat is active.

Mana: 50

Launch a flare that grants vision over a wide area for 5 seconds. Does not reveal stealthed Heroes.

Volatile Recoil
(Mortar Combat E ability)
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Mana: 75

Fire a sort-ranged, concussive blast in a small, frontal cone that deals 50 (+4% per level) damage and propels Feranor & Sigrun in the opposite direction, knocking aside all enemies dealing 200 (+4% per level) damage.

Feranor fires his Dwarven shotgun in a narrow cone that deals 270 (+4% per level) damage and slows damaged enemies by 30% decaying over 1.5 seconds.

Sigrun fires a fast traveling net in a straight line, dealing 120 (+4% per level) damage and rooting the first enemy unit hit for 1.25 seconds.

Feranor and Sigrun man a Dwarven Flying Machine for 15 seconds. Flying Machine grants 15% move speed, the ability to traverse over all terrain, and access to new abilities and Basic Attacks.

Q: Mortar Drop: Cooldown: 3 seconds. Drop a Mortar Shell in the target location dealing 155 (+4% per level damage after a 1 second delay.
W: Evasive Maneuvers: Cooldown: 12 seconds. Gain 10% move speed and evade all Hero Basic Attacks for 2.5 seconds.

Fireworks
Cooldown: 55 Seconds
Mana: 55

Launch a volley of three mortar shells over a target area. Upon exploding, each shell blinds all enemy units for 1 second and rains fire and shrapnel down, dealing 45 (+4% per level) damage every 0.25 seconds for 1 second. All shells explode over 3 seconds.

Special Mount

Teamwork
Feranor and Sigrun can use mounts and move at 100% move speed while Mortar Combat is active.

While Divide & Conquer is active neither can mount, Feranor moves at 90% move speed and Sigrun moves at 110% move speed.

Talents

Level 1:


[W] Target Spotted: Increase cast range of Dwarven Flare by 150%, grants vision over the Flare's path, and reduce cooldown by 5 seconds.
[W] Double Barreled: (Quest) Damage 25 Heroes with Boomstick. (Reward) Upon damaging a Hero with Boomstick, get a free cast within 1.5 seconds.
[Trait] Dream Team: (Quest) Have Mortar Combat active for 10 minutes. (Reward) Increase Mortar Shell range by 25% while in Mortar Combat.
[Trait] Lone Wolves: (Quest) Have Divide & Conquer active for 10 minutes. (Reward) Grant Feranor 20 Physical Armor and Sigrun 20 Spell Armor while in Divide & Conquer.

Level 4:


[Q] Dragon's Fire: Mortar Shell deals an additional 40% damage over time to structures while Divide & Conquer is active.
[Q] Teamwork Makes...: Damaging a Hero with Mortar Shell while in Mortar Combat increases the travel time of the next Mortar Shell by 25%, stacking to 100%.
[E] Brute Force: Increases Volatile Recoil's knockback and damage by 100%.
[Passive] Scoped In: (Quest) Use Basic Attacks against Heroes 50 times as Sigrun. (Reward) Increase Basic Attack range and speed by 15%.

Level 7:


[Q] ...The Dream Work!: Damaging a Hero with Mortar Shell while in Mortar Combat reduces the cast time by 50% and reduces the cooldown by an additional 2 seconds.
[E] Hunter's Special: Dragon Net increases Mortar Shell's damage by 50%.
[Active] Defective Mortars: Activate while in Mortar Combat to place a defective mortar on the ground. Mortars last for 45 seconds and grant vision in a small area. If attacked by an enemy Hero, explode dealing 175 (+4% per level) damage and slow movement by 25% for 1.5 seconds. 3 charges, 15 second cooldown.
[Active] Siphon Rounds: Activate while in Divide & Conquer is active to cause Sigrun's Basic Attack against Heroes to heal both Feranor and Sigrun for 5% maximum health. Lasts for 6 seconds. 30 second cooldown.

[W] Invigorating Shot: Boomstick grants Feranor 30% move speed for 2.5 seconds.
[E] Rocket Propelled Dwarves: Increase travel distance by 75%, but add a 0.75 second cast time.
[Trait] Dragonhide Armor: Grants 25 Armor while Mortar Combat is active.
[Trait] Dragon Hunting Resilience: Divide & Conquer increases health regeneration by 250% while under 75% maximum health.

Level 16:


[Q] Fragmentation Shards: Mortar Shell ignores Spell Armor.
[W] Sawed Off: Increase Boomstick damage by 40%, but reduce range by 20%.
[W] Frigid Net: Dragon Net slows all enemies in an area around the rooted target by 70% for 0.5 seconds.
[Passive] Deadly Aim: Sigrun Basic Attacks deal 50% additional damage to rooted or slowed Heroes.

Level 20:


[R] Flak Cannons: Flying Machine Basic Attacks splash for 100% damage.
[R] Grand Finale: Fireworks launches one additional shell and damage increases by 2.5% for each consecutive instance of damage.
[Trait] Warp Ten: Divide & Conquer grants 50% faster death timers if one Dwarf is living.
[Active] Heart of Searinox: Activate to cause all abilities to deal an additional 50% of the abilities' damage over 3 seconds to enemy Heroes. One Charge per ability. 45 second cooldown.
