Flobbidinous Floop

Mad Biologist

Current version: 2.0

Flobbidinous Floop is a ranged mage who uses sustained damage and a resource generated from enemy deaths to push lanes and provide utility for his team.

Pros:
    Strong lane pushing
    High utility
    Average sustained damage
Cons:
    No mobility
Needs to generate Mulch for most of his abilities
Statistics:
Health: 1,840 (+4% per level)
Regen: 5.64 (+4% per level)
Mana: 500 (+10 per level)
Regen: 3.00 (+0.098 per level)
Atk Speed: 0.98 per second
Damage: 72 (+4% per level)

Combat Trait

1
Glorious Gloop
Passive:
Floop's basic attacks and Ooze Canister apply Gloop to all affected enemies, dealing 108 (+4% per level) damage over 6 seconds. Multiple applications refresh Gloop but don't stack.

Floop has a secondary resource, Mulch, collected by the deaths of enemies affected by Gloop. Floop gains 5 Mulch per minion death during Gloop, 10 Mulch per mercenary death during Gloop, and 50 Mulch per building or hero death during Gloop, up to a maximum of 100 Mulch at a time.

Primary Abilities

1
Ooze Canister
Cooldown: 9 seconds
Cost: 60 Mana

Floop throws a canister of ooze in a target direction, dealing 44 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies it passes through and bouncing off of walls. When Ooze Canister reaches its full range, or when recast early, it breaks and leaves a puddle of ooze that grows in size over 2 seconds, then remains at full size for 3 seconds longer.

The puddle Slows enemies within by 20% and constantly applies Gloop to them. Additionally, Gloop deals 200% more damage to enemies while they stand in a puddle created by Ooze Canister.

Ooze Canister has a long maximum range, similar to pre-nerf Chromie Sand Blast. Its projectile speed is similar to Falstad's Hammerang.
2
Treant Germination
Cooldown: 15 seconds
Cost: 25 Mana and 15 Mulch

Floop plants a sapling at a target location. For 2 seconds afterward, Floop can recast this ability with full cost and no cooldown, with each cast resetting this window. Afterward, all saplings sprout into Treants with a duration of 15 seconds. Treants have 340 (+4% per level) Health and deal 24 (+4% per level) damage with 1.00 attacks per second.

While Treants are active, Floop can recast Treant Germination to direct the Treants to move to a target location or attack a target enemy. Treant Germination's cooldown does not start until the recast window ends.
3
Rapid Overgrowth
Channeled Ability
Cooldown: 12 seconds
Cost: 50 Mana activation and 20 Mulch per second

Floop uses a machine to rapidly deploy seeds and mulch at a target location that follows the mouse cursor. Rapid Overgrowth ends when it is recast or when Floop runs out of Mulch, and when it ends the marked areas will fill with various plants for 3.5 seconds, blocking allied and enemy movement.

The size of the area Rapid Overgrowth fills is equal to Xul's Spectral Scythe. The area has a speed limit as it moves equal to 100% faster than a normal hero. Its cooldown doesn't start until its channel ends.

Heroic Abilities

1
Mulchmuncher
Cooldown: 80 seconds
Cost: 100 Mana

Floop deploys the Mulchmuncher mech to charge at a target location, dealing 188 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies in its path and knocking them to the side. The Mulchmuncher remains for 8 seconds, and Floop can recast this ability with a 3 second cooldown to charge it at another location.

Additionally, the Mulchmuncher will destroy any Treants or Rapid Overgrowth it charges through, adding 2 seconds to its duration per Treant and 1 second to its duration per unit of Rapid Overgrowth.

Mulchmuncher's cooldown doesn't start until its duration ends.
2
Biology Project
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Cost: 150 Mana

Floop channels for 2.5 seconds to perform an experiment, after which the heroic ability cooldowns of ALL other heroes (allied and enemy!) are reset.

Talents

Tier 1

Trick Shot - Ooze Canister's projectile speed increases by 25% after each bounce off of a wall.
Quest: Hit enemy heroes with Ooze Canister after it has bounced at least once.
Reward: After hitting 25 shots, Ooze Canister's collision damage also increases by 25% after each bounce.

Pocket Treant - If Treant Germination uses exactly one cast, its Mulch cost is refunded and its cooldown is reduced by 10 seconds.
Reusable Nutrients - Regeneration Globes also grant Floop 10 Mulch when picked up.

Tier 2

Leaky Canister - Ooze Canister leaves a trail of ooze in its path that lingers for 3 seconds, applying the same effects as its puddle.
Chomping Flytrap - The initial cast location of Rapid Overgrowth also summons an angry plant when the channel completes. This plant lasts for up to 8 seconds, has 645 (+4% per level) Health, deals 48 (+4% per level) damage with 1.08 attacks per second, and has an attack range slightly above melee.
Aggressive Dendrology - Treants constantly apply Gloop to enemies in melee range of them. Enemies in melee range of Treants take 25% more damage from each tick of Gloop.

Tier 3

Floopulous Synergy - Ooze Canister's puddle heals Floop and Treants for 18 (+4% per level) Health every 0.25 seconds while they remain in its area of effect.
Disorienting Spores - Rapid Overgrowth also generates mushroom spores along its area of effect, Silencing enemy heroes while they stand too close to its wall.
Obscuring Grass - Rapid Overgrowth also generates dense grass that remains for 3.5 seconds after its effects end, blocking enemy vision similar to brush. Does not block Floop's team's vision.

Tier 4

Mulchmuncher - See above.
Biology Project - See above.

Tier 5

Wellspring - Ooze Canister's puddle has its duration increased by 1 second for each second Floop remains in it.
Boomsday Brand Canisters - Ooze Canister deals an extra 108 (+4% per level) damage to enemies close to its detonation and Stuns them for 0.75 seconds.
Master Gardener - Floop is Unstoppable and gains 25 Armor while channeling Rapid Overgrowth.

Tier 6

Gloopy Volatility - Enemies that die while affected by Gloop also explode, dealing 54 (+4% per level) damage to all nearby enemies and applying Gloop to them. This effect's damage is increased by 300% and radius is increased by 100% when the affected enemy is a hero.
Living Roots - When Treant Germination's Treants sprout, any enemies within close range of them are Rooted for 1.25 seconds.
Great Gloopily Floopily! - Upon being reduced to 25% of his maximum Health, Floop dissolves into a puddle for 2.5 seconds, becoming Invulnerable, replicating the effects of Ooze Canister's puddle at his location, and healing for 25% of his maximum Health over the duration. This effect has a 25 second cooldown.

Tier 7

Burning Fuel - Mulchmuncher deals 5% more damage for each 1 second added to its duration from destroying Treants and Rapid Overgrowth.
Hint of Psychmelon - Biology Project no longer costs Mana, and it grants all affected heroes 100% reduced ability costs for 4 seconds.
Ironbark Ancient - Summoning 7 Treants in the same cast of Treant Germination also summons an Ironbark Ancient, who has 400% more Health and damage than a normal Treant and 100% increased duration. This effect has a 60 second cooldown.
Accelerated Decomposition - Gloop deals more damage based on how much Health the target had when it was applied, up to 200% more damage at 10% Health remaining.
