Kodo Rider

Garuld is a veteran of war, having fought in the Third War alongside his mighty Kodo Beast Rodney. He plays the drums of war to inspire his allies while Rodney tramples their foes. They were an unstoppable force during the Third War, and now their drums will sound throughout the Nexus.

Garuld is a durable, nigh-unstoppable Support that buffs nearby allies with his Drums of War.

Combat Trait

[D] Drums of War
Garuld constantly plays the Drums of War, giving nearby allies 5% increased Spell Power and 10% increased Attack Damage. Using Abilities provide additional buffs to all allies affected by Drums of War. Only one additional buff can play at a time. Drums of War is disabled while Garuld is stunned or silenced.

Cooldown: 15 seconds
Mana: 50

Let loose a mighty roar, slowing all enemies in a wide cone by 55% fading over 3 seconds, and reducing their Armor by 15 for 3 seconds.

Drums of War: Grants nearby allies 20 Armor for 4 seconds, reducing all damage taken by 20%.

Cooldown: 14 seconds
Mana: 60

Charge in target direction, slowing enemies by 20% for 2 seconds and dealing 60 damage to them.

Drums of War: Grants nearby allies 20% Movement Speed for 4 seconds.

[E] Healing Salve
Cooldown: 18 seconds
Mana: 55

Garuld applies a healing salve to Rodney, healing him for 35% of his maximum health over 4 seconds.

Drums of War: Heals nearby allies for 75 Health per second for 4 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Cooldown: 100 seconds
Mana: 80

Rodney devours a nearby enemy Hero for up to 7 seconds, making them unable to fight or take damage from other sources. While being devoured the enemy takes 80 damage per second. While devouring an enemy Rodney cannot use Deafening Roar or Stampede, and he moves 70% slower. Reactivate to spit out the enemy early.

Garuld becomes immune to Stuns and Silences and plays all three additional Drums of War buffs for 6 seconds.

Special Mount

[Z] Rodney
Garuld rides atop the mighty Kodo Beast Rodney, passively granting 10% increased movement speed. Rodney is immune to Slow, Roots and Stuns. Stuns still affect Garuld.

Talents

Level 1

Wild Charge: Stampede's range is increased by 20%.
Quest: Damage enemy Heroes with Stampede.
Reward: After damaging 20 Heroes with Stampede, each Hero damaged by Stampede reduces the cooldown by 2 seconds.
The Beat Goes On: Quest: Buff allied Heroes with each Drums of War buff for a total of 150 seconds each. Multiple heroes provide additional time.
Reward: The last Drums of War song played by Garuld plays indefinitely.
Wildvine Potion: Increases the amount of maximum Health restored by Healing Salve to 50%, but increases the cooldown and healing duration by 4 seconds.
Echo Pedal: Drums of War last 1 second longer.

Level 4

Loud Beats: Drums of War range is increased by 20%.
Drums of Brutality: Drums of War give allies 15% increased Attack Damage.
Drums of Wisdom: Drums of War give allies 10% increased Spell Power.

Level 7

Bite to the Beat: For the first 4 seconds after Drums of War starts playing, Rodney's Attack Speed is increased by 30%.
Headbutt: Stampede knocks enemies into the air instead of slowing.
The Cavalry's Here!: Mounted Heroes affected by Drums of War move 25% faster.
Deep Breath: Deafening Roar has 10% increased range.
Quest: Hit enemy Heroes with Deafening Roar.
Reward: After hitting 10 Heroes, increase the initial Slow to 60% and it fades over 4 seconds instead.

Level 13

Can't Stop The Music: Drums of War buffs play for at least 4 seconds, even if Garuld is Silenced, Stunned, Polymorphed, put into Stasis or killed.
Clefthoof Turn: Stampede can be redirected once. Redirecting increases the range by 20%.
Shattered Eardrums: Enemies take 10 damage per second while within Drums of War range. This damage increases to 40 for 4 seconds after using an Ability.
Lifting Spirits: Increases the heal from Drums of War by 75% to allies below 50% Health.

Level 16

Audience: Each allied Hero affected by Drums of War grants Garuld and Rodney 4 Armor.
Furious Roar: Deafening Roar deals 120 damage to enemies.
Spurred Onwards: Rodney moves 25% faster than other Heroes.

Level 20

Consume: Increases Devour damage by 150%. If the enemy dies while consumed, the cooldown is reduced by 60 seconds.
Concert: Doubles the duration of Drum Solo.
Unstoppable War Beast: Rodney becomes completely Unstoppable.
Around The World: For the first 4 seconds after using an Ability, Drums of War has global range.

I like this a lot. I tried to create a Kodo Rider concept a while ago, but gave up XD this one is definitely better!

Amazing Idea! I love this concept, because it combines aspects of a tank with a really powerful support. Really well thought out, and i'd love to see the talents this guy has! 10/10 would main.
p.s is he melee? I mean I get most abilities are based around Garuld's mount Rodney, so I guess that would be logical, but just as a random inquiry. Also, I'd love to see the stats because this concept shows a lot of potential.

Yeah, he is melee. Rodney either bites or uses his horn to attack enemies.
