Genji Rework

My Suggestions

Genji is nerfed to the point where only those who main him can play him without suffering.

The idea of this rework is to give Genji more chances to kill his targets without dying, and also give his builds more variety.

Stats
Health increased from 1675 to 1700
Attack Range increased from 4.5 to 5

Combat Trait

Cooldown reduced from 20 to 18 seconds

Primary Abilities

Shuriken (Q)

Cooldown increased from 12 to 14 seconds
Damage increased from 65 to 70

Mana reduced from 70 to 50

Cooldown increased from 12 to 14 seconds
Damage increased from 190 to 200
Reset Condition duration increased from 1.5 to 2 seconds

Duration increased from 8 to 10 seconds

X-Strike (R2)

Mana reduced from 70 to 50

LEVEL 1

Shuriken Mastery (Moved from Level 4) (New Functionality)
?Quest: Hit enemy Heroes with Shuriken.
?Reward: After 40 hits, Cyber Agility now refunds 2 charges of Shuriken.
?Reward: After 80 hits, increase the damage of Shuriken by 20.

Swift as the Wind (New Functionality)
Gain 15% Movement Speed for 3 seconds after casting Swift Strike.
Hitting an Enemy Hero with Swift Strike increases this bonus to 30%.

Agile Dismount (New Functionality)
While mounted, the range of Cyber Agility is increased by 50% and its cooldown is reduced by 8 seconds.
Jumping over terrain with Cyber Agility grants Genji 20% Movement Speed for 2 seconds.

Pathfinder
Removed.

LEVEL 4

Gambit (New)
The first charge of Shuriken deals 30% more damage.

Strike at the Heart
End distance increasd from 2.571 to 2.8

Dragon Claw (New Functionality)
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Active: Deal 200 damage to nearby enemies.
Radius: 4

LEVEL 7

Perfect Defense (New Functionality)
Deflected damage reduces the cooldown of Deflect by 0.5 seconds, up to a maximum of 6 seconds.
When Deflect ends, Genji gains a Shield equal to 100% of the damage blocked for 3 seconds.

Cyber Dodge (New)
Genji dodges Enemy Basic Attacks during the Cyber Agility jump and 0.75 seconds after.

Cyber Shield
Unchanged.

Augmented Guard
Removed.

Dodge
Removed.

LEVEL 13

Shingan
Unchanged.

Way Of The Shimada (New Functionality)
Increase Genji's Basic Attack Range by 0.5. Each time Genji hits an enemy Hero with a Basic Attack or Shuriken, increase his Basic Attack Damage by 0.5% for 2 seconds, stacking up to 15%.

Flow Like Water
Cooldown reduction increased from 3 to 4 seconds.

LEVEL 16

Reflect
Unchanged.

Final Cut (New Functionality)
Swift Strike deals 50% more damage to enemies below 25% health.

Steady Blade (New Functionality)
After 1 second, Swift Strike deals an additional 125 damage to all enemies in the area.
Each enemy Hero hit by Swift Strike and this effect increases the damage of the next Swift Strike by 15%, up to 75%.

LEVEL 20

The Dragon Becomes Me
Reset Condition duration increased from 1.5 to 2 seconds.

Living Weapon (Added Functionality)
X-Strike no longer costs mana.

Sharpened Stars (Added Functionality)
Shurikens reduce the Armor of enemies hit by 3 for 3 seconds, up to a maximum reduction of 30 Armor.

Zanshin

Hi, I'm main Genji and I also feel that the hero needs buffs, I liked some of your proposals, but I think there were too many buffs without nerfs in other aspects.

I hated changing the ults, decreasing damage and increasing dragonblade time would result in more time exposed to take value, that is, more cc and more damage Genji will take, besides that there could be an anti synergy with the reset, already who need to kill fast and look for an escape route, even with the base line E damage boost and other buffed talents. I also like XStrike's current damage.

I also think that Perfect Defense in 7 would be unbalanced compared to the other talents, resulting in a 100% choice. I think final cut on 16 would be too OP causing instakill with no chance of reaction, which was one of Genji's old problems, no one could get HP below 20%.

Honestly, I liked the increase in the auto attack range by 0.5 and also the "fluid like water" feature in the 13, which would increase the skill range.

I changed the damage of Dragon Blade and its duration because of how much burst it can deal compared to X-Strike.
Dragon Blade is better most of time, that's why i decided to change it to deal the same damage in total, but not that fast.
X-Strike deals low damage, especially compared to Dragon Blade.
Perfect Defense won't be unbalanced, because CC still stops it.
