Gravel

Mountain Giant

Role:
Warrior

Lore:
Giants roamed the tranquil world when mankind were still young and innocent. However, when the strife rose, war was everywhere. Tenderhearted as they are, the giants moved and inhabited in the mountains, away from the fray of conflict. Day by day, they gradually accepted nature as a form of their lifestyles and partially evolved into grey-skinned creatures with a hide as strong as rocks. Rumors spread throughout the land of their "growth" and labeled them as Mountain Giants.
Gravel had an adventurous spirit from his youth. He wanted to see beyond the clouds that canopies the land below. Therefore, when he was of age, he left the mountains and continued the legacies of his forefathers- Roaming.

Base Stats:

Health: 920 (+150/level)
Health Regen: 2.86 (+0.5/level)

Energy: 350 (+20/level)
Energy Regen: 2 (+0.5/level)

Speed: 3

Attack Speed: 0.6
Attack Range: 1
Attack Damage: 85 (+20/level)

Gravel is a tank hero with a high basic attack. However, he is the epitome of slow and his energy costs are all high despite his lower energy pool and regen. Fortunately, his abilities attracts enemies to him so he does not have to chase them down. If anything, Gravel is a hero you will like in maps like DK and Temple. He has a lot of positional control.

Combat Trait

1
Nature's Weapon
Active

Energy Cost: 0
Cooldown: 30 seconds

Gravel pulls a tree out from his mountainous exterior. While equipped with the tree, Gravel's Basic Attack is increased by 50%. The weapon is expended after 5 attacks or after tossing the tree at a target.

Tree Toss:
Click this button again to activate Tree Toss in a direction. If it collides with a hero, they are pushed away in the same direction which the tree was flung in. (Note: Gravel can target allied heroes)

(Note: Cooldown only starts when 5 attacks are expended or when Tree Toss is activated.)

Primary Abilities

1
Titan's Bellow
Active

Energy Cost: 120
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Gravel lets loose a bellow that taunts all nearby enemies to use Basic Attack on once.
Until the last Basic Attack is over, Gravel cannot move/attack but gains a shield that absorbs 100(+20/level) damage.

(Note: This Area of Effect is at least twice and big as ETC's Mosh Pit)
2
Seismic Swing
Active

Energy Cost: 150
Cooldown: 20 Seconds

Gravel swings unsteadily with all his might at an enemy hero, dealing (150% of Basic Attack*), either stunning them for 2 seconds OR hitting them away a distance. (it's a random effect)

*Nature's Weapon stacks
3
Boulder Barricade
Active

Energy Cost: 120
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Gravel throws a boulder at a target area, both enemy and allied heroes hit are pushed out of the target area (Opposite of Johanna's Condemn). The boulder remains for 5 seconds while creating a barricade (as big as 1 cannon tower, of course not as tall to not block vision).

Heroic Abilities

1
Grow!
Passive

Gravel's Basic Attack is increased by 80% and gains a permanent Nature's Weapon. Activating Nature's Weapon will only activate Tree Toss and its cooldown is 10 seconds
2
Golem's Tantrum
Active (Channeling)

Energy Cost: 250
Cooldown: 60 seconds

Gravel goes berserk and smashes the ground repeatedly with all his strength.
He gains a shield that absorbs (25% of health) damage until the end of this ability effect.
This ability can only be deactivated when he takes damage and regains his cool (basically when the shield is destroyed) or after 20 seconds.*
During the effect of this ability, a very large* target area around Gravel is affected: all enemy heroes are slowed for 5% movement speed and slows, roots and stuns from all other friendly abilities are increased for 1 more second.

(*Note: Even Gravel himself cannot control when to end Golem's Tantrum.)
(*Note: The Area Of Effect's radius is Falstad's Level 10 Hinterland Blast's range)
