Grommash "Grom" Hellscream is a powerful, hard-to-stop fighter who fuels his attacks with Rage. (Redesign of an old concept)

Combat Trait

Combat Trait

Instead of Mana, Grom uses Rage. For every 2 Rage, Grom's abilities recharge 1% faster and his Attack Speed is increased by 1%. Dealing damage with Basic Attacks generates 4 Rage. Grom can store up to 100 Rage.

After not damaging an enemy for 5 seconds, Grom loses 4 Rage every second.

Primary Abilities

Skullsplitter (Q)
Rage: 40
Cooldown: 14 seconds.

Grommash leaps to a target location, dealing 120 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies within the area. Hitting a Hero that is closest to the center of Skullsplitter Stuns them for 1 second and marks them for 5 seconds. Marked enemies take 20% increased damage from Grom's next Basic Attack and generate additional 8 Rage.

Wild Strike (W)
Cooldown: 10 seconds.

Swing in a large arc in front of you, dealing 143 (+4% per level) damage to all enemies hit and healing Grom for 30% of the damage delt to enemy Heroes. Reactivate to swing one additional time. If at least 2 enemy Heroes are hit by a second cast, ability can be reactivated one more time.

Each enemy hit by Wild Strike generates 2 Rage, doubled against enemy Heroes.

Blood Fury (E)
Rage: 30-60 Rage
Cooldown: 18 seconds.

Grommash becomes Unstoppable for 0,5 seconds and his damage delt is increased by 25% for 4 seconds, increased by 1 second for each 10 additional Rage consumed by Blood Fury. Usable while Stunned or Silenced.

Cooldown: 90 seconds

Succumb to your bloodlust, instantly generating 20 Rage and increasing Rage generation by 200% for 7 seconds. While active, duration of Crowd Control effects on Grom is reduced by 75% but he loses 25 Armor.

Bloodbath (R2)
Heroic Ability
Rage: 40-80
Cooldown: 75 seconds

After 0,5 unleash a devastating strike in a large area around Grom, dealing 210 (+4% per level) damage to all nearby enemies immedietaly and additional 210 (+4% per level) damage over 6 seconds. Damage is increased by 10% for each 10 additional Rage spent.

Level 1:

[Passive] War Machine:

Takedowns grant 20 Rage and increase his Movement Speed by 15% for 5 seconds.
Quest: Takedowns increase Grom's maximum Rage by 2, up to 20 additional Rage.
Reward: After 10 Takedowns, Grom can activate his trait to instantly generate 40 Rage. Cooldown: 80 seconds.

[W] Bloodsurge:

Hitting at least 2 Heroes with 3rd recast of Wild Strike allows to recast it for the 4th time, but Wild Strike's cooldown is increased by 2 seconds.

[Q] Warmongering:

Reduce cost of Skullsplitter from 40 to 20.
Quest: Land a Basic Attack on enemies marked by Skullsplitter.
Reward: After damaging marked enemies 10 times, increase range of Skullsplitter by 15%.
Reward: After damaging marked enemies 20 times, permanently reduce cooldown of Skullsplitter by 2 seconds.

Level 4:

[E] Frothing Berserker:

After Blood Fury expires, Grom gains 20 Rage and his Attack Speed is increased by 15% for 4 seconds.

[Q/W] Howling Axe:

Wild Strike consumes Skullsplitter mark, generating triple the amount of Rage from marked Hero and dealing damage equal to 2,5% of Hero's maximum Health.

[Passive] Bloodied Edge:

Each consecutive Basic Attack to an enemy Hero deals 15% more damage and generates additional 1 Rage, to a maximum of 45% damage and 3 Rage. This bonus lasts 5 seconds or until a different enemy is attacked.

Level 7:

[W] Trauma:

Heroes hit by Wild Strike take 20% reduced healing for 3 seconds, stacking up to 40% reduced healing.

[Q] Crippling Blow:

After being Stunned by Skullsplitter, Heroes are Slowed by 50% for 3 seconds. Grom's first Basic Attack againt Slowed Hero resets it's duration.

[Passive] Pathetic Foes:

Basic Attacks against Heroes reduce their Attack Speed by 30% for 2,5 seconds.

[E] Enraged Regeneration:

Using Blood Fury heals Grom for 20% of his maximum Health over 4 seconds and increase healing of Wild Strike to 70% of damage done while it is active.

[E] Uncontrollable:

Blood Fury increases Grom's Movement Speed by 25% for 3 seconds, increased by 1 second for each 10 Rage consumed by Blood Fury.

[E] Gronn's Hide:

Blood Fury grants Grom 25 Armor and additional 50 Physical Armor for 3 seconds.

Level 16:

[W/E] Raging Blow:

Wild Stike deals 75% increased damage if only one enemy Hero is hit. After activating Blood Fury, next Wild Stikes deals 75% increased damage regardless of number of enemy Heroes hit.

[Q/E] Skullbasher:

Skullsplitter reduces Armor of Stunned Hero by 25 for 3 seconds. After activating Blood Fury, next Skullsplitter reduces Armor of all enemies hit.

[Passive] Gorehowl's Thirst:

Basic Attacks against a Hero drain 1% of their maximum Health. While Blood Fury is active, Gorehowl's Thirst effect is increased to 3%.

Level 20:

[R1] Hellscream:

Increase Rage generated by Warsong from 20 to 100 and it's duration to 9 seconds, but it's cooldown is increased by 10 seconds.

[R2] Many Will Fall:

Bloodbath no longer consumes additional Rage and deals 40% increased damage. Bloodbath's damage-over-time heals Grom for 25% of the damage delt.

[E] Iron Will:

Reduce cooldown of Blood Fury by 4 seconds. Duration of Blood Fury's Unstoppable is increased to 1,5 seconds.

[Passive] Endless Rage:

Reduce Rage lost while out of combat from 4 to 2 Rage per second. In addition, your Rage cannot fall below 40 Rage while out of combat.
