The Dragonkiller

In the ruined land of Draenor live brutal creatures who yield only to the mighty. Yet even among the Gronn, a race of one-eyed giants who dominate even the Ogres with their fearsome strength, one stands out above the rest: Gruul, worshipped as "The Dragonkiller" for his slaughter of the black dragonflight in the Blade's Edge Mountains, having personally impaled each wyrm on the sharp peaks as a show of power.

Gruul is a Warrior with strong control and powerful auto attacks. His large size and Cave In ability also make him a potent bodyblocker. His mobility is low, but his counter-engagement is devastating.
Gruul's main mechanic is Petrification, a debuff applied by his Ground Slam. This debuff does nothing on its own, but enables his Reverberation, both of his heroics, and many of his talents, and is crucial to controlling your enemies.

Gruul can built in one of 3 main ways to better fill your team's needs from their Warrior:
        -Teamfighting, with a focus on CC abilities, good use of Reverberation talents, and Shatter to punish grouped enemies.
        -Control, with a focus on durability and body-blocking, using Cave In talents to trap targets.
        -Bruiser, with a focus on auto-attacking, utilizing Growth and damage boosting talents to deal massive game to Petrified targets, using Gronn Lord's Grasp to chase.

Combat Trait

Growth
Gain 5% attack damage, 5% increased ability range, and increase in size by 10% every 30 seconds, up to 30 stacks. Half of Gruul's stacks are lost upon death.

Primary Abilities

Cave In
Mana: 40 
Cooldown: 8 seconds

Hurl a boulder at a target location dealing 60 (+15 per level) damage. The boulder remains at the location as a structure with 500 (+100 per level) health for 10 seconds or until it is destroyed. Has a cooldown of 8 seconds.

Ground Slam
Mana: 60 
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Become Unstoppable and after a 1 second delay slam the ground, knocking nearby enemies back a moderate distance, dealing 50 (+15 per level) damage and Petrifying the targets for 4 seconds. Has a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Reverberation
Mana: 60 
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Channel to release tremors from the ground each second for up to 5 seconds, dealing 30 (+8 per level) damage and slowing the target's Movement Speed by 25% for 1 second. Targets that are Petrified are also Silenced for 1 second. Has a cooldown of 12 seconds.

Unleash shards of earth from each Petrified enemy that deal 200 (+24 per level) damage to all enemies in a small area around the target, not including themselves. Has a cooldown of 100 seconds.

Gronn Lord's Grasp
Mana: 100
Cooldown: 120 seconds

Loose a mighty roar causing all Petrified enemies to have their Movement Speed slowed by 20%, intensifying by an additional 20% every second for 3 seconds, and then Stunning targets for 1 second. Has a cooldown of 120 seconds.

Talents

Tier 1
Heavy Earth: Petrification slows affected target's Movement Speed by 10%.
Eye of Gruul: Petrification lasts 6 seconds and enemies affected by it are revealed.
Block: Periodically reduces the damage received from Hero Basic Attacks by 50%. Stores up to 2 charges.
Regeneration Master: Increases Health Regeneration by 4 per second. Every 3 Regeneration Globes gathered increases this bonus by 4.



Tier 2
Hurtful Strike: Every 10 seconds, your next Basic Attack on a Petrified target deals 100% additional damage.
Petrifying Slam: Ground Slam loses its knockback effect, but gains 50%  increased range.
Overhead Smash: Ground Slam now targets as a cone.
Gronn Gaze: Petrified minions and mercenaries take 25% increased damage.


Tier 3
Overwhelming Blows: Every Basic Attack against the same target within 3 seconds will deal 5% bonus damage, stacking up to 5 times.
Rocks Fall: Cave In can store up to 2 charges.
Stone Skipper: Ground Slam can now knock back boulders, causing them to deal their damage again at the point of landing.
First Aid: Activate to heal 35% of your max Health over 6 seconds.(Cooldown: 60 seconds

Tier 4
Shatter: Unleash shards of earth from each Petrified enemy that deal 200 (+24 per level) damage to all enemies in a small area around the target, not including themselves. Has a cooldown of 100 seconds.
Gronn Lord's Grasp: Loose a mighty roar causing all Petrified enemies to have their Movement Speed slowed by 20%, intensifying by an additional 20% every second for 3 seconds, and then Stunning targets for 1 second. Has a cooldown of 120 seconds.

Tier 5
Dragon Killer: Basic Attacks against Petrified enemies deal bonus damage equal to 2.5% of the Hero's max Health.
Spell Shield: Upon taking Ability Damage, reduce that damage and further Ability Damage by 50% for 2 seconds. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.
Crumbling Roar: Cave In additionally drops smaller rocks in a larger area for 5 seconds that deal 20 (+4 per level) damage.
Stonefist: Every 3rd Basic Attack against the same target will Petrify them for 4 seconds.

Tier 6
Lodestone: Reverberation can be cast on a boulder causing the tremors to originate from it instead of Gruul
World Shaking: Reverberation has a global range, but will only affect Petrified enemies
Imposing Presence: Enemies that attack you have their Attack Speed reduced by 50%
Blood for Blood: Activate to steal 15% of target enemy Hero's Max Health and slow its Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds.(Cooldown: 60 seconds)

Tier 7
Wrath of the Earth: Shatter additionally unleashes shards from all nearby towers and boulders. 

Stoning: After being Stunned, enemies affected by Gronn Lord's Grasp take 25% increased damage for 3 seconds.
Destructive Rampage: Activate to reduce Ground Slam's cooldown to 2 for 5 seconds. (Cooldown: 60 seconds)
Hardened Shield: Activate to reduce damage taken by 75% for 4 seconds.(Cooldown: 60 seconds)
