Hammersmash

Brutal Hellspawn Shocker

Hammersmash, guardian of Diablo's precious Hell Rifts, stood tall against the Nephalem during the assault on the heavens. With nothing but his enormous fist-like appendages and a bit of hell fire, Hammersmash crushed countless angels and Nephalem fullfilling his duty. Now, following his demise at the hands of a bold Crusader, Hammersmash's soul was left in the Nexus to constantly war with all beings.

Hammersmash is an assassin/bruiser, leaning more on the side of bruiser. Slow and lumbering, but with a large HP pool and massive AoE damage, Hammersmash proves to be a truly formidable foe if left unchecked on the battlefield.

Strengths:
Hammersmash deals incredible AoE damage if left unchecked.
Functions exceptionally well in 'death ball' team compositions.
Difficult for melee heroes to deal with.
    Strong point defense hero.

Weaknesses:
Has almost nothing to offer against ranged opponents.
    Countered by moderately/highly mobile heroes.
Unable to mount, making him less desirable on larger maps.
Damage works best when paired with ally crowd control.

Combat Trait

1
Immovable Titan
Hammersmash is immune to knockback and root effects.

Primary Abilities

1
Crushing Slam
Active: After a 1 second delay, slam the ground in front of Hammersmash, dealing 300 damage in a large area and leaving behind a Quake. 30 mana. 10 second cooldown.

Passive: Crushing Fists: Hammersmash attacks slower than other heroes, but leaves Quakes behind.
2
Quaking Stride
Passive: while moving, Hammersmash leaves behind a Quake every 4 seconds, which persists for 4 seconds and deals 80 damage per second to targets and slowing them by 15%. Damage dealt from Quakes does not stack.
3
Fanatic Titan
Increase movement speed by 20% for 5 seconds. During this time Hammersmash cannot be rooted or knocked back. 80 mana. 20 second cooldown.

Heroic Abilities

1
Thunderstorm
• Passive: Electrified: Whenever Hammersmash takes damage he releases 3 piercing bolts of lightning that slowly travel toward enemy heroes dealing 80 damage.

• Active: Thunderstorm: Unleash the full strength of Hammersmash's hell power, calling forth a massive hell storm in a large area around him that deals 250 damage to all enemy heroes within it every 2 seconds, also leaving Quakes behind. Enemies struck are slowed by 10% for 1 second. 100 mana. 100 second cooldown.
2
Quaking Rampage
Hammersmash spreads his enormous arms and smashes the ground far away from him, dragging enemies toward Hammersmash. Quakes are left behind at the impact zone and beneath Hammersmash. 60 mana. 60 second cooldown.

Special Mount

1
Towering Hellspawn
Hammersmash cannot mount, but instead moves 10% faster while unmounted. Hammersmash towers above the battlefield, granting an additional 15% to his sight radius.

Talents

Level 1:
Thunderous Quakes: Quest!: Deal 1000 damage with Quakes. Upon completion, increase the area of effect and damage of Quakes by 20%.

Unhindered Titan: Quest!: Spend a total of 120 seconds affected by Fanatic Titan. Upon completion Hammersmash will automatically cast a free Crushing Slam when Fanatic Titan expires.

Goliath: Increase the sight radius bonus of Towering Hellspawn to 25%.

Quickened Shocker: Increase the movement speed bonus of Fanatic Titan by 10%.

Level 7:
Fanatic Slam: Crushing Slam now has 2 charges but deals 60% less damage.

Unstoppable: Fanatic Titan instead makes Hammersmash unstoppable but lasts for only 2 seconds.

Level 20:

Demonic Feast: Every time a nearby enemy hero dies, Hammersmash heals for 8% of his maximum life. Every time an ally hero dies around Hammersmash, he gains 3% of his maximum life.

Hellfire Storm: Activating Thunderstorm also causes streams of fire to rapidly emit from Hammershash, dealing 50 damage to all enemies struck.

Unending Rampage: Quaking Rampage lasts until canceled. Cooldown increased to 100 seconds.

Boon of Diablo: The will of Hammersmash's hateful lord fuels his might, increasing his maximum health pool by 20% and increasing his attack damage by 10%.
