Archangel of Valor

Imperius, the Archangel of Valor is a melee Warrior who is known for his combat prowess during the Eternal Conflict. The head of the Angiris Council, Imperius is ready to show his Valor to all of the Nexus...

A Melee Warrior that can teleport around the field, hindering enemy Heroes with movement blocks, and lowering damage towards himself. His Basic Attacks fuel his Trait, which is important for Imperius to get out of trouble, but his main assets are his abilities, which help him to limit damage and to control his opponents, with walls to hinder movement and additional Armor to dampen attacks.

Primary Abilities

Solarion's Wrath (Q)
Cost: 30 Mana
Cooldown: 6 seconds

Fire a beam of sunlight in a straight line, dealing 128 (+4% per level) damage. If this hits an enemy Hero or a wall, it will ricochet from it in a straight line in the direction of the closest enemy Hero. The beam pierces non-Heroic enemies and can ricochet up to 2 times.

Purge (W)
Cost: 60 Mana
Cooldown: 12 seconds

Brand an enemy, gaining 15 Armor against them for 6 seconds. Imperius can teleport to his target by re-activating this ability while they are marked, instantly performing a Basic Attack.

Pillar of Heaven (E)
Cost: 50 Mana
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Call down a Pillar from Heaven that, after 0.25 seconds, lands and hits all enemies in a small targetable area for 194 (+4% per level) damage. For each enemy Hero hit, Imperius gains a shield equal to 3% of his Maximum Health for 4 seconds. The pillar stays in the area for the 4 seconds, acting as a wall.

Active Time: 8 seconds

Deal 24 (+4% per level) damage per second to nearby enemies. Activate to double the effectiveness of Eternal Champion for 8 seconds.

Cooldown: 40 seconds
Active Time: 8 seconds

Activate to cause every 3rd Basic Attack to teleport through the target and apply Purge for half its normal duration for 8 seconds.

Heroic Abilities

Wings of Valor (R)
Cost: 100 Mana
Cooldown: 100 seconds

After 1 second, teleport to target location, dealing 107 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies. Reactivating this ability within 5 seconds of landing causes Imperius to radiate light, dealing 168 (+4% per level) damage to all nearby enemies, making them unable to see any allied Heroes for 2 seconds.

Final Sentence (R)
Cost: 100 Mana
Cooldown: 80 seconds

Become Protected for 2 seconds, blocking damage. When this expires, become Unstoppable, teleporting to each Hero that you blocked damage from, dealing 184 (+4% per level) damage on impact and stunning for 1 second, then returning to your original position.

Talents

Level 1:


- Deep Heat (Q): Solarion's Wrath restores 10 Mana per enemy Hero hit.

(!) Quest: Hit 25 Heroes with Solarion's Wrath.

(!) Reward: Increase the amount of times Solarion's Wrath can ricochet by 1.

- True Nature (W): Purge reveals the enemy for its duration.

- Champions Defense (W): Teleporting with Purge grants 65 Physical Armor against the Purged enemies next Basic Attack, reducing the damage taken by 65%.


Level 4:


- Wavelength (Q): Increase the range of Solarion's Wrath by 50%.

- Repent (W): Teleporting to an enemy with Purge reduces its cooldown by 2 seconds.

(!) Quest: Teleport to 15 Heroes using Purge.

(!) Reward: Increase the range of Purge by 100% and increase the Armor gain by 10.

- Smite the Weak (E): Increase Pillar of Heavens damage to non-Heroic enemies by 75%.


Level 7:


- Flame-forged Pillar (E): The fallen Pillar deals 43 (+4% per level) damage to nearby enemies for its duration.

- Bulwark of Heaven (E): Increase the radius of Pillar of Heaven by 15%.

- Press On (Trait): Activating a charge of Valor also increase Movement Speed by 20% for 2.5 seconds.


Level 10:


- Blinding Light (R): Activate to channel for 2 seconds, then fly to a chosen location, planting your spear in the ground, dealing 117 (+4% per level) damage. Re-activate this ability within 3 seconds to detonate from the point in a large area, dealing 168 (+4% per level) damage to all enemy Heroes, and making them incapable of seeing your allies for 1 second.

- Eternal Champion (R): Activate to become Invulnerable for 2 seconds. When this expires, become Unstoppable and teleport to each enemy that attacked you whilst you were Invulnerable, dealing 204 (+4% per level) damage, stunning them for 1.5 seconds, and then returning to your original position.


Level 13:


- Warmth (Q): Solarion's Wrath heals for 5% of Imperius' Max Health for each enemy Hero hit.

- Light Shields (W): Increase the duration of Pillar of Heaven's shield by 2 seconds.

- Flames of Valor (Active): Deal 17 (+4% per level) damage per second to nearby enemies. Every 10 points of Armor you have increases this damage by 50%.


Level 16:


- Spectrum (Q): Solarion's Wrath now splits into 2 extra beams on impact instead of 1.

- Judge, Jury, Executioner (W): Basic Attacks against the marked Hero increase the duration of Purge by 1 second.

- Expose (W): Purge now affects all enemy Heroes in a small area around the original target. You can only teleport to the original target.

- Tenacity (Trait): Increase the maximum Valor charges by 1.


Level 20:


- Speed of Light (R1): Blinding Light now casts instantly.

- Vindication (R2): Gain 10 Physical and Spell Armor for 4 seconds for each enemy stunned.

- Inspiring Presence (Trait): Valor also affects all allied Heroes in a small radius around Imperius.
