Infestor

Infestation Specialist

Health: 1450 (3.0208/sec)
Mana: 500 (3/sec)
Damage: 108
Attack Speed: 0.75
Range: 7.5

The Infestor is a specialist who focuses on pushing lanes with his summons and area of effect abilities. The Infestor's abilities deal little damage to Heroes or are otherwise easily countered when it is alone, so it prefers to avoid solo confrontations with other heroes and benefits from a strong frontline when it appears in team fights.

For future reference, anything that refers to Infested refers to all summons except for the Aberration; anything that refers to Summons includes the Aberration.

Combat Trait

1
Bile Trail
Cooldown: 20 Seconds
Range: 8
Radius: 2.5

Passive: While the Infestor walks, it creates a trail of bile that lasts 2 seconds. that deals 24 (+4%/level) damage per second to any enemy standing in it. Non-heroes take twice as much damage.

Active: The Infestor rolls a ball of bile at the target direction. If this ball comes into contact with an enemy or it reaches the end of its path, it explodes and creates bile in the area around it. Bile created in this way lasts 4 seconds instead.

Primary Abilities

1
Fungal Growth
Cost: 75 Mana
Cooldown: 8 Seconds
Range: 9
Radius: 2

Launches a ball of corrosive acid at the target location, dealing 45 (+4%/level) damage per second and applying a 25% slow to non-structures. Non-heroes take double damage and are stunned instead of slowed.
2
Infested Swarm
Cost: 30
Charges: 3
Cooldown: 1 Second between casts, 12 Second charge cooldown
Range: 8

The Infestor hurls an egg at the target location. Eggs have 260 (+4%/level) health, and after 3 seconds the egg hatches into an Infested Marine that lasts 20 seconds. Infested Marines have 140 (+5%/level) health and deals 24 (+4%/level) damage. Infested Marines push down the lane closest to where they were spawned, and prioritize attacking heroes.
3
Aberration
Cost: 50 Mana
Cooldown: 30 Seconds Upon Aberration's Death
Range: 4

Launches a parasite at the target allied or enemy minion, transforming them into an Aberration that pushes for the Infestor's team. Aberrations have 1100 (+4%/level) hit points and deal 42 (+4%/level) damage every attack and have a range of 1.5, and it heals for all of the damage it deals. Enemy minions that are converted provide experience to the Infestor's team, and minions that die near the Aberration provide experience as if a hero were nearby. If the Aberration was spawned from an allied minion, it provides the enemy team with whatever experience that minion was worth when killed near an enemy hero.

Activating the ability while the Aberration is alive allows the Infestor to order it to move or to attack specific targets. When ordered to move, the Aberration will wait at its destination for 5 seconds before returning to the nearest lane to push; when ordered to attack, it will chase the target until they die, upon which the Aberration will immediately move toward the nearest lane. While being ordered, the Aberration moves at Hero speed rather than Minion speed.

Secondary Abilities

1
Direct Infested
Range: Global

Orders all Infested within 12 range of the target to attack the target. While chasing the target, Infested move at Hero speed rather than Minion speed.
2
Return to Lane
Range: Global

Orders all Infested Terrans on the map to return to pushing the nearest lane.

Heroic Abilities

1
Neural Parasite
Cost: 150 Mana
Cooldown: 120 Seconds
Range: 7.5

After 1 second, the Infestor launches a tentacle in the target direction that mind controls the first non-neutral enemy hit, including Minions, Non-Boss Mercenaries, Non-Core Structures, and Heroes, taking command of them instead of the Infestor for 6 seconds. Mind-controlled Heroes cannot activate their heroic abilities, and non-Heroes gain 50% Attack Damage and Spell Power, gain 25 Armor, and move at the speed of Heroes. Enemies under this effect are immune to damage from both teams, but can be hit by both team's skillshots and crowd control. The ability can be reactivated to end the spell early, and the effect is cancelled if the Infestor's channel is interrupted.
2
Virophage
Cost: 125 Mana
Cooldown: 180 Seconds
Range: 5.5

The Infestor places a Virophage on the spot of a dead Fort or Keep. Virophages have 6,450 (+5%/level) health and deal 99 (+4%/level) damage per second to their target and enemies within a 2 radius. Virophages prioritize minions over heroes, but the ability can be reactivated to order the Virophage to change to a specific target. Only one Virophage can exist at a time, and creating a new Virophage will kill the old one. Every minion wave, the Virophage creates 3 Infested Civilians to push down the lane the Virophage sits in. Infested Civilians have 200 (+4%/level) health and deal 30 (+4%/level) damage, and last until they are killed.

Special Mount

1
Burrow
Cooldown: 12 Seconds

The Infestor cannot mount, and instead burrows into the ground over 2 seconds. The Infestor does not gain any movement speed, but becomes invisible for as long as they are burrowed. All abilities except for Infested Swarm, Direct Infested, and Return to Lane are disabled during this state, and the Infestor loses the ability to automatically create Bile while it moves. Stunning the Infestor while it is burrowing will prevent it from going underground, while damaging the Infestor while it is burrowed will reveal it for 3 seconds without causing it to unburrow.
