The Sun King

Like all Blood Elves, Prince Kael'thas was transformed by the fall of Quel'thalas. Desperate to save his people from being consumed by their magical addiction, he joined forces with the Burning Legion and now lords over Tempest Keep.

Combat Trait

World in Flames
Cooldown: 40s
Activate to make all your Living Bombs explode instantly. Damage is increased for each remaining second of Living Bomb on the target.

Primary Abilities

Flamestrike
Mana: 60
Cooldown: 10s

After 1 second, deal 225 (+ 4% per level) damage in an area. Flamestrike applies untalented version of Living Bomb to Heroes.

Burning Hand
Mana: 75
Cooldown: 13s

Next 2 Basic Attack apply Living Bomb that deals 125 (+ 4% per level) damage over 5 seconds to an enemy, then they explode dealing 175 (+ 4% per level) damage to all nearby enemies. Other Heroes damaged by this explosion are also affected by Living Bomb . Stacks Duration.

Gravity Lapse
Mana: 90
Cooldown: 16s

Stun the first 2 enemies hit for 1 seconds. If the target is under Living Bomb effect stun it for 1,5s instead.

CD: 60s

Launch a Phoenix to an area, dealing 171 damage to enemies along the way. The Phoenix persists for 7 seconds, attacking enemies for 171 damage and splashing for 50%.

Mana: 100
CD: 90s

Banish a Hero for 10 seconds, slowing its movement speed by 30%. Banished Heroes cannot auto attack, but they can cast spells and will take 40% more damage from magic attacks and spells.

Talent Breakdown

Level 1:



Flame Momentum: Increases Flamestrike radius by 30%

Fel Infusion: Each time Living Bomb deals periodic damage, Kael'thas heals for .25% of his maximum health.

Mana Addict:
*Quest: Gathering a Regeneration Globe increases Kael'thas' maximum Mana by 25.
*Reward: After gathering 15 Globes, Kael'thas can activate Arcane Barrier to gain a Shield equal to 100% of his maximum Mana for 3 s
econds. Cooldown 45s.

Level 4:



Nether Wind: Increases Gravity Lapse's range by 30%. When Gravity Lapse hits an enemy Hero, reduce World in Flames cooldown by 1 second.

Sunfire Enchantmen: Reduce cooldown of World in Flames by 10s. Activating World in Flames restores 20% of Kael'thas' maximum mana.

Energy Roil:
*Quest: Hit 15 Heroes with Gravity Lapse
*Reward: Reduce Gravity Lapse's mana by 25 and it's cooldown by 3 seconds

Level 7:



Burned Flesh: When Flamestrike damages 2 or more Heroes, they take additional damage to 8% of their maximum Health.

Sun King's Fury: Living Bomb effect persists for 3 more seconds after explosion but deals no damage.

Gravity Wave: Gravity Lapse hits 1 more target.

Level 13:



Arcane Disruption: Gain 20 Armor for 3s and burn nearby enemies for 200 ( +4% per level) damage when stunned or silenced. Can only trigger once every 30 seconds.

Flash Point: Flamestrike does 20% more damage to enemies in the center.

Pyromaniac: Kael'thas can now apply 3 Living Bombs while under Burning Hand's effect.

Innate Talent: Gravity Laps now stuns for 1,5s unconditionally and apply an untalented version of Living Bomb.

Level 16:



Fury of the Sunwell: Hitting a Hero with Flamestrikes applies Burnout status for 15 seconds. Hitting Burned out target with consecutive Flamestrike reduces its cooldown by 1.5s (up to 6 second reduction) and increases Flamestrike damage by 10% (up to 40%).

Arcane Dynamo: Activating Burning Hand grants 150% Attack Speed. Lasts 3 seconds or 3 Basic Attacks. Also each time Living Bomb deals periodic damage World in Flames' cooldown is reduced by 1 second.

Pyroblast: After 2 seconds, cast a slow-moving fireball that deals 350 (+ 4% per level) damage to an enemy Hero and 100 (+ 4% per level) damage for each remaining second of Living Bomb. Removes Living Bomb effect upon impact.

Hot Streak: World in Flames deals 30% more damage to Heroes stunned by Gravity Lapse.

Level 20:



Rebirth: Increases Phoenix duration by 100%. You may order the Phoenix to move to a different location once while the Phoenix is alive.

Collective Responsibility: Banish can now spread to a nearby enemy Hero every 2 seconds.

Master in Flames: Increase Kael'thas auto attack range by 1. Burning Hand now has 2 charges.

Flamethrower: Increases the cast range of Flamestrike by 40%.

Had a brief look, interesting and cool take on a hero that's already in game. I like the focus on living bomb, and will have a more focused look tomorrow. One thing i wanted to quickly add though is that Banish should be reworded to;
Banish an enemy hero for 10 seconds, slowing their movement speed by 30% and lowering Spell Armor by 40, increasing all Ability damage taken by 40%. While banished, the targeted enemy Hero cannot auto-attack, but can cast Abilities.
Although i will say, 10 seconds seems to be a bit long for such an ability. Again, will take another look tomorrow at the talents. Liking what i see so far! :)
